Carry On
Your pov
You struggle to get up, since you've been sitting on your legs for awhile now. You grunt once you finally find your strength in your legs, then look around the clearing. The trees started to turn a different color, which terrified you. You weren't really prepared for winter. You glance at Wilson, who was still passed out. You stiffle a sigh, then started walking away. As you start wondering, you spot a track of an animal. The thought of hunting thrilled your insides. You quickly grabbed a blanket, then covered Wilson up head to toe with it. You thought that if he was covered, nothing would harm him. You grab everthing you needed: a spear, a helmet, and some armor. Without looking back, you stomped off after the animal, hoping to get supplies for winter.
Wilson's pov
I suddenly feel my eyelids become lighter and lighter and I slowly regained consciousness. My eyes suddenly flew open, but only to see darkness. Oh god, I've gone blind! My heart thumped with terror, but then I soon realized that my face was covered with a blanket. Embarressment flooded over me as I pulled the blanket down from my face. I looked around, trying to ignore the blinding light of the sun beating into my eyes. Grunting, I slowly found myself to my feet, wobbling at first.
"Jesus...how long was I out?" I spoke as I looked around. I soon noticed that y/n wasn't in the camp. Perhaps she was just gathering supplies? Guilt stabbed at my heart. I longed to go after her, but she'd be pissed off if I did. I sat back down and waited. I started to smooth my hair down, but it kept springing back up. Fuck. I really wanted to cut my hair, but I didn't have anything to cut it with. I started to rub my face, then noticed that I had a small beard growing. I shurgged as I slowly looked down. Had she left him for good? She wouldn't do that...right? The thought throbbed in my mind. As I thought, I heard a struggled grunt and pants coming from behind me. Confused, I whipped my head back to see who it was. Low and behold, it was y/n, but carrying back tons of meat and a long truk of an animal. I quickly stood up and widened my eyes. Once she had finally arrived in the camp she didn't notice me standing by the firepit, but continued to walk towards the fridge. I kicked the grass a little, to at least make a noise so that she acknowledge me. Suddenly, she took out her spear incredibly fast and tried to stab me. I reacted too, though, and took hold of he end, having my hands being cut from the sharp head. Anger flared in her eyes, but then they soon softened as she saw me sturggling with the power that she was forcing onto my hands. She dropped the spear and gave me a huge hug. She broke it, then grabbed my face.
"What the hell, Wilson! I nearly killed you!" She cried. I tried to let out a smile, but I couldn't with tears flowing out of her eyes. I wiped them off, then gave her a kiss.
"Shh, it's okay." I reasurred her. She softly blinked, then let me hold her closer. I slowly brushed her hair with my fingers, giving her love while doing so.
"It's okay. I'm here now."
