In one of the restaurant's corridors, Willy's Wonderland, late at night ...
A girl in her early twenties, wearing a Willy's Wonderland staff shirt, ran as fast as she could down one of the restaurant's corridors. She had pale skin, dyed pink hair in a ponytail, and green emerald eyes.
After running round a bend in the corridor, Aurora stopped for a moment ... just to catch her breath. Ragged gasps of exhaustion and stress rose from her throat as the aforementioned girl tried her best to calm down.
Tex didn't mention the frantic running in his janitor deal, nor the sheer amount of mess to clean up! And he CERTAINLY didn't mention the monsters!!
Aurora then heard snickering, cackling and voices in the distance. Voices ... that were growing slowly louder with every second.
"Where are you going, honey drop?" a charismatic voice with a New Jersey accent called mockingly.
"Come back here! (giggle)" chirped the girlish voice of the fairy.
"I just want to be your friend!" her gorilla friend added, laughing as well. The pink-haired girl just gritted her teeth and started running again.
Clearly, these monsters were on the hunt ... and not intending to give up anytime soon. She soon came to the end of the corridor, which branched off in bends in both directions; left and right.
An idea suddenly sparked in Aurora's head. The girl quickly yanked off her hair band, and threw it into the left corridor. She then nipped quickly around the right bend, and pressed herself flat against the wall ... waiting and listening.
After a while, Aurora heard the significantly loud mechanical clatter of the living animatronic mascots sprinting down the corridor towards the crossroads and her. They were growling with excitement too!
The girl gulped quietly, and tried to not breath too loudly. The robots' footsteps then stopped: right at the crossroads. For a second, there was complete silence.
"Now where has that wench run off to?" mused the voice of the monstrous weasel. There was suddenly a sniffing sound close by.
"I can smell her scent definitely ... the sweet smell of fear and desperation." More sniffing sounds came, and Aurora smothered a shriek as her heart beat faster with sheer fright.
"Wait! Look here!" Gus Gorilla suddenly boomed. "It's her hairband! She must be running down the left corridor!" he added.
A flicker of sudden hope flashed across Aurora's face at that! A second later, there was a sudden rush of loud footsteps in the opposite direction, down the left corridor.
"Come on, boss; or we'll lose her!" Siren Sara called back, sounding slightly impatient.
"Coming! We definitely don't want to lose the poor girl, now, do we?" Aurora heard Willy Weasel speak as he luckily moved away from her, and after the other two.
The note of sadistic relish in his voice made her knees feel like jelly for a moment. As sweet, sweet silence fell at last, the pink-haired girl peeked around the bend at the crossroads. No one was there now.
She breathed a sigh of relief and turned around ... only to come face to face with Tito Turtle, who had been standing right behind her! Aurora squeaked a little in fear as the blue reptile animatronic seized her left arm in a tight grip and pulled her close to him.
"So sorry, Senorita", Tito said calmly, but with the hint of a smirk on his face. "¡Pero me temo que es el final del camino para ti! (But I'm afraid it's the end of the road for you!)"
The sheer menace in the last bunch of words raised very scary implications in Aurora's mind ... but she then felt a tiny flame of stubbornness start to burn inside her heart. If her fate truly was to be dinner for these monsters ... well ... this girl wasn't going to go down without a good darn fight first!
The unsuspecting turtle promptly hissed and swore very badly in Spanish when his intended prey stomped hard on his right foot. Aurora quickly whipped her arm away as Tito clutched at his aching foot ... and then gave the robotic reptile's other leg a hard kick for good measure.
The kicked leg buckled predictably, and Tito crashed onto his shell back, helpless for the present moment.
"¡Maldita sea! (Darn it!)" he cursed aloud, wincing a little. Hesitating on the spot for a moment, Aurora just couldn't resist sticking her tongue out at the turtle.
"Better luck next time, shellbrain!" she called as she dashed along the right corridor and out of sight. All the infuriated blue reptile could do was watch the pink-haired girl leave, while rocking from side to side in a struggle to get up.
Tito's shell sometimes really irked him, and this was one of those times! Suddenly, he heard muffled, metallic footsteps approaching him from behind. The turtle robot turned his head quickly in hope ... and was gladdened by the sight of two of his team mates just coming around the corner.
Arty Alligator and Cammy Chameleon. They were certainly surprised (and in Arty's case: amused too) to find their turtle friend on his back, struggling to get up.
"Tito! What happened to you?" Cammy asked, walking straight up to him, and reaching out a hand.
"Why are you on your back?" chuckles Arty; following the chameleon, and offering his aforementioned turtle comrade a hand too.
"¡Estoy bien, amigos! ¡En realidad! La pequeña descarada acaba de patearme las piernas debajo de mí (I'm okay, friends! Really! The little minx just kicked my legs out from under me)", Tito explained, managing to catch hold of his friend's hands.
Unfortunately, the blue animatronic reptile instantly lost Arty's hand ... due to the aforementioned alligator suddenly bending over and shaking in helpless giggles.
"Hahahahaha! You really fell for her then! Hahaha!" Cammy, too, let go of Tito's other hand as she turned to face her green reptile friend; her hands on her hips.
"Oh, really, Arty!" the chameleon girl chided. Honestly, that gator sometimes had the sensibility of a toddler! she thought to herself. Tito looked as if he'd just had the same thought.
"Haha, very funny, Gator-Breath!" the animatronic turtle said sarcastically; rolling his eyes.
"¡Vamos, ayúdame aquí arriba! (Come on, help me up here!)" he ordered, reaching for his teammates' hands. Cammy and Arty once again took hold of the blue reptile robot's paw; and this time ... they quickly pulled him to his feet.
"¡Gracias! (Thanks!)" Tito remarked, giving acknowledging nods to both of them. It was the animatronic alligator's turn now to roll his eyes, but he did smile a little too.
"Pleasure, I'm sure", Arty said sassily. "Now, let's be after the 'little minx' that Turtle Boy here failed to catch!" The turtle robot immediately shot a glare at his toothy comrade for his tactlessness.
"Oi!" Tito protested.
"Argh, shut up!" Arty retorted, narrowing his eyes at the angry shell-backed reptile. "We don't have time to argue! Let's move!"
The robotic alligator then turned his back on Tito and stalked off along the left corridor.
"He does have a point, you know", the animatronic chameleon said apologetically, walking after Arty. The turtle sighed.
"Lo sé, Cammy... lo sé (I know, Cammy ... I know)", he said, following his reptile friends.
Inwardly though, Tito felt strange ...
He felt a sense of ... deja vu? Like something about that girl was familiar? But how?
The turtle animatronic just couldn't remember.
Maybe it'll come to me when we catch her?
What do you guys think of Aurora here? Smart and tough like Liv in the film? Vote and comment if you like it! 👍
