By Who We Tell.

Disclaimer: I don't own Willy's Wonderland. I don't own the picture (cover). Or the song.

(Requested by CallieTheFangirl . Also, the OC in this belongs to them and the picture to the left as well, it's their Oc named Callie.)

(Two oneshots in one day wow. Why not?)

(Hope you enjoy.)

Gus is known as the back up performer.

Supporting Willy in a nearby environment. When he stopped singing, all the kids wanted to see the wild Gorilla animal.

They assumed him to be stupid.

As the opposite, he spotted a problem miles away. And now, it's only a few metres within distance.

A girl wondered around the place taking orders, delivering food, basic stuff a staff member did. He shouldn't pay attention anymore.

He should focus on performing.

There's something he can't unsee.

The girl, this server's postures suggest she's different. Emotionally detached, barely functioning.

She's either depressed or acting really bad.

Gus decided to start break.

Luckily the server did as well. Excusing herself as he walked out the back door. Getting so she'd be alone.

Just what Gus needed.

"I'll be back soon, kids!"

The children cheered. He did a little dance and jumped before walking off like his animal origins.

Just like a dumb gorilla.

Callie arrived outside.

Just what she needed. Alone time.

People made her frustrated these days. The job at the Willy's wonderland quickly becoming tedious.

No one wanted a job to hate.

Unfortunately Callie found hers early.

Now wonder she wanted to leave. Considering her living conditions though, she was obligated to remain here for the money coming in.

She didn't want that become homeless.

A messy apartment sounded better than the streets.

A friend referred Callie to this job. The last company she worked for closed down. Quickly being made redundant with two weeks notice, she's panicked.

Callie supposed she got lucky.

"Y-you okay?"

Callie yelped, she did not scream. Behind her was one of the terrifying things performing at the place called Willy's Wonderland.

Gus the Gorilla.

Standing there a few feet taller, leaning on hind legs. Like an animal he represented, waiting patiently.

"Honestly?"

She liked patience. Callie tested the animatronic a second to see how long he'd last until breaking.

He stood there minutes.

The only moving gestures were breathing. Chest heaving up and down. It amazed Callie how alive these animatronic made themselves.

Truly a marvel in real life.

Up close?

Absolutely terrifying.

"...No."

It blinked once. Like telling her to go on.

Still terrifying.

"A few people close to me died." She relented, staring into Gus' eyes. It felt like he was listening. "I haven't been...myself recently. That's all I can say myself."

Gus blinked once more. Comprehending this new information he'd received. In life, Gus' human form had been a cruel, cruel man.

He wondered if Callie's parents were a victim.

Now seeing the impact grief has one person, he at least knows someone is capable of emotion. The method he chose seemed basic.

"W-well, your welcome anytime to Willy's wonderland! Where everyone is happy and you can talk to us if need be!"

If anyone had been in Callie's position, they would've seen a basic, even antagonising move of a sociopath.

Callie's seeing something else.

A friend offering support. With the state she's in, it's all anyone can want to have a shoulder to lean on. A smile stretched on her lips, genuine at best.

She wiped a sliding tear, patting the Gorilla's back before heading back inside. He followed suit. Perhaps he wasn't such a dumb animal.

"Heh, thanks Gus."
