When I first wrote Innocent, I thought I'd just make it a single thing. But, apparently I'm a better writer than I thought, and the readers wanna know how this thrilling tale ends (quick iskall demise reference). So, here it is. Part 2 of Innocent. The HEP won't know what's coming.

''So. What happened?''

Bdubs looked over at Grian, who stood next to one of the many chests inside the hobbit hole. After he found him on the island, he brought him here, since that was the place Grian deemed safest to hide him. He sighed

''It all started when they found out about the masks. Y'know, how every member of the resistance wears a mask that looks like my face to stay anonymous.''

''Yeah.''

''Well, they believed that somehow I was one of them, even though I've always shown loyalty towards the cause. So they arrested me. They brought me in front of all the members, and accused me of betrayal. I tried to tell them that I'm on their side, but they didn't believe me. They only believed him.''

''And then?''

''They.. They punished me. They hurt me with words, with swords and even with their own hands. They-''

His sentence was cut off as a wave of memories flashed through his mind, reminding him of all the hatred they gave him. Tears started flowing down his face he tried to get rid of it. He could hear Grian running over to him, feel him pull him up and hold him.

''Bdubs, I'm so sorry. If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't have told then to wear the masks. I'm really really sorry.''

''No, it's fine, you couldn't have known. Maybe it was a good thing, now that I know who's really on my side. I never should have trusted them.''

They sat there for another while, Grin stroking Bdubs's hair while he tried to calm down. Eventually the tears were gone, and Grian let go and stood up, while Bdubs stayed on the bed.

''If you don't mind, I'm gonna go see if I have any health or regen potions back at the mansion. If anything happens, call me.''

Grian walked out of the starter base, then ran to the mansion, not bothering to fly due to to how close it was. After a bit of searching he found a regen potion and a golden apple, which he took back to the small base.

''So, I didn't find health, but I did find regen. I'd suggest you drink it before eating the apple. I know it hurts, but it'll only do good for you.''

Bdubs nodded and took the bottle from Gri. He stared at it for a sec, took out the cork, then downed it in one go. He fell back as waves of pain enveloped him, but he gave in to it, knowing it'll be over soon. Once the effect subsided, he sat back up, noticing that the cuts weren't bleeding anymore, and that the pain was mostly gone.

''So Bdubs, do you want me to take you back to your place or what?''

''No, they probably have one of their spies posted there, just to see if they could arrest me again. Oh, I hate those guys. I wish I could be in the resistance. That'll show them.''

He could hear Grian going quiet for a bit, then he spoke up.

''I could get you in, if you want. I'll just ask the other's if it's fine with them.''

''You could?''

''Of course. I'm the leader.''

''Wow.''

He fell back onto the bed while Grian sent out the message. After a few minutes the last message came through, and Gri spoke up.

''They say it's totally fine. I explained to them that you left the HEP, but I didn't tell them why. So you wanna see the base?''

''Yes please.''

Grian got out his elytra, grabbing a spare one for Bdubs on the way out. They strapped it on, got out some rockets, and flew up, Grian leading, with Bdubs not far behind.

''Where are we going?''

''Somewhere where they can't find us.''

Soon, they reach a random-looking field, with a few flowers scattered around. Grian guided him over to a seemingly normal patch of grass, then balked back a bit.

''Do you trust me?''

''Yes.''

He bent down, and pulled on the flower right next to him. Suddenly, the ground disappeared, and Bdubs could feel himself falling. He braced for impact, but instead fell into a hole filled with water. He swam up, where he saw Gri waiting for him at the edge. He climbed out, then walked through the corridor. At the end was a door, which led to the HQ. It was unlike any place he's ever seen. The walls were incredibly detailed, and there were many young shroomlings scampering around.

''Now we can add you to the wall of members.''

Gri walked up holding a sign, which he placed on the wall filled with other signs. Bdubs walked closer to see what was written on it.
