Plot:

Aleana Tark was not the typical daughter of Athena. She didn't love anything realted to war ore wisdom, she loved the ocean. Her siblings always jokingly said that she was born in the wrong body, she shoud have been a mermaid instead.

Athena's children knew from an early age the rivalry between their mother and the sea god Poseidon. To respect their mother, they try to isolate everything related to Poseidon, including their children. However, Athena's children at Camp Half-Blood did well because Poseidon's children weren't there. But then Percy JacksonAnd perhaps because she was the son of Poseidon,  showed up and everything shook.

Alena has always been attracted to the ocean (and sadly also to the son of the ocean) , something her siblings never understood. Instead of sitting at the table of battle plans for fun, she was found on the beach in Long Island Sound with a flower behind her ear and her hair blowing in the salty breeze.

And perhaps because he was the son of Poseidon, everything that she wished that she could be, Alena was also attracted to Percy Jackson, which would  upset her mother. But if Annabeth can be friends with him,why can't she?

Alena soon discovers that her friendship with Percy Jackson will make her fall in love with him, all amid quests she never imagined she would find however, all she knew was that her eyes were fixed on the line where the sky met the sea, and that was all she needed.
Percy and Alena bond, because of their love to the ocean but realize they have more in common than they thought.
