"I can help." Jerome says again when he comes inside the villa. The tension in the air is too much for everyone. Mara breaks her silence.

"How? How can we trust you after what you said about mom?" she accuses him. She has no sympathy left for him.

"I know you can't trust me but I had no choice. I want to protect you but I don't have the choice. This is the least I can do." He hands them the papers. Alphie reads through them. They were the case papers!

"How....how is it possible? I withdrew the case!" Alphie looks shocked and looks through the papers again if he was mistaken.

"I pulled some tricks. I also have the assassin who was sent to kill Juliana. He was sent by...." He hands over a pen drive to Fabian, "My father. The ex-leader of our party before I took over."

"You might think why I took long enough to hand this over. This pen drive has the proof to all the bad things my father has ever done. This is my lifetime's research. I had to wait for the right moment when both dad and Patricia are busy. Thanks to Robinson's case, they are pretty shaken up for the future elections."

"The hearing is tomorrow. I have sent in the information to all the news stations about the assassin and it will not only bring the spotlight back on Juliana's case but also rip apart Nationalist Party's reputation." Jerome takes a deep breath and feels light to say everything finally.

"Aren't you the representative of the party? How can you risk your own party's reputation?" Fabian asks as he wasn't sure how to digest all of this information. According to Nina, Patricia was the one who killed Juliana. She did see a shadow of a man but Nina is sure about Patricia killing her mom. Then what is this about an assassin?

"You sure about the assassin? I mean are you sure that the assassin was the only one who was there in that room?" Fabian questions Jerome because he thinks he might be hiding Patricia or this is all again a trap. A trap by Patricia.

"I am not sure about that. But this is the first step to find the truth. Once the case reopens, with the right publicity, the truth will eventually come out." Jerome talks to Fabian but his eyes were on Nina. She has been awfully silent this whole time. She finally speaks.

"Thank you, dad. Fabian, Mara, and Alphie be ready for the hearing tomorrow. I....I am going to rest." She walks to her room not less like a zombie. Jerome takes his leave too.

"I think that is my cue. I'll leave you to it. Be careful with everything." He warns them before leaving the villa.

Knock knock!

"Come in." Fabian could hear a muffled voice so he opens her door. Nina was sitting on the bed, feeling sleepless.

"Couldn't sleep?" Fabian asks while sitting beside her on the bed.

Nina hugs him and he hugs her back. She nods silently indicating she can't sleep even if she wanted to.

"Everything will be okay. We have the hearing tomorrow, remember? We will get your mom justice. Don't worry." Fabian caresses her head.

"You know that feeling," She nuzzles closer to Fabian, "The feeling that something will fall out when everything is coming into its place. I keep feeling that I am missing a huge part of this. As if something is wrong. My instincts..." But Fabian kisses her before she could complete the sentence. A faint line of blush creeps on her face.

"Nothing will go wrong. Even if it does, we are here. I am here. Now stop worrying and sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." He puts a blanket on Nina and puts his arms around her, engulfing her in his bear hug.

"As the days go by, we get new updates on the age-old 'Juliana Murder Case'. The newest development is the confession of the assassin. Yes, that's right! The assassin who is we are naming as Mr. X has confessed about his crime of murdering Juliana Martin on the order of a political party – The N Party. Mr. X has confessed to being hired by the said political party to murder the famous actress and was paid a hefty amount for his silence. It is interesting to see that today being the first hearing of the Juliana Murder case is when the assassin confesses. This shows that truth will prevail and justice will be accomplished. Patricia wastes no time in leaving for Carter's house. Even if the party's name wasn't mentioned, it clearly pointed at them. She knew Carter would be furious. But when she reached his house, she watches him being dragged by the cops. He glances at her once and runs at full speed towards her, injuring some of the cops on the way.

He reaches her and grabs her by her neck, choking her. "You will pay for this Patricia. I told you to take care of those little bitches of Juliana. Now, wait and watch." 

Patricia shudders at the thought of Carter hurting the two girls. After working for so long with him, she still hasn't been able to understand him fully. He always surprises her.

Thankfully, the cops catch hold of Carter and cuff him, again dragging him to the police van. Patricia touches her bruises on the neck, a violent reminder of how everything is going to go down the drain soon. She calls up Alphie but he doesn't pick up. She calls up Fabian but the same. There is only one option left. Only he could be the one who can have access to such information. She dials Jerome's number.

"You have no idea what you have done. You have just angered your dad." She shouts at him.

"I am prepared Patricia. I did what I should have done long back." And he cuts the call.

Patricia thinks of going to the court but thinks of it as a bad idea. She thinks that her Williamson Castle is the safest place for her.

Oh, boy was she wrong!
