You came out of the car heading to your old friend's house. You haven't seen him in ages and it felt weird to go to his house now. You two were really close friends when he was in high school but fate separated you. You shifted to another city after your father decided to grow his business and ultimately changed residence. You two were still in contact though.

You started heading to his door feeling excited to finally meet him after 10 years. You were walking to his door when a man suddenly came out opening the door bumping straight into you.

??: Oh I am sorry. Are you okay?

You: Yeah I am fine.

You look at the man and froze on your spot. It was like you were hypnotized. You kept on staring at him with your heart beating fast and your mind filled with hundreds of questions about him. Who is he? What is he doing here? Does Taehyung know him? How can he be so good looking? Why am I staring at him? Why is my heart beating so fast?!

Your thoughts were interrupted by a girl calling out for you from behind and that's when you realise that you have turned around while staring at his figure going away and was now out of your sight.

Girl: Excuse me?

You: *turned around* Oh yeah.. umm... Hi!

Girl: Hello... You are?

You: Oh come on Bella... Don't you recognise me?

Bella: Oh Hii Y/n... Sorry i wasn't sure if that's you only or not because of the mask and your hideous outfit.

You: That's okay... Is Taehyung home?

Bella: Yes.. Come inside.

Bella was Taehyung's wife. Taehyung was 3 years older than you and had a 3 year old son named Sam.

As soon as you saw Taehyung, you ran upto him and jumped on him hugging him tightly while he spun you around holding you up in the air.

Taehyung: Shakes (your nickname)!!!

You: Finally we meet again booksie (his nickname)!!

Bella: You didn't meet me the way you met him Y/n.

Taehyung puts you down.

You: Oh sorry Bella. What can I do? We still get to meet because of our female camping trip every year but I haven't seen this guy in ages now.

You smile. Suddenly you remembered something as you turn to Taehyung.

You: Umm... Who was that guy who just left the house?

Taehyung: Oh that's Jimin, Bella's secretory. Why? Is something wrong?

You: *panicking* No no nothing is wrong.

Taehyung: *doubting* Are you sure?

You: Yeah yeah of course.. Why would something be wrong.

You: *whining* I haven't had booksie special milkshake in 10 years dude.. I am craving for it now.

Taehyung: *chuckles* Alright alright I will get you one.

He goes away as you sigh in relief that he didn't doubt you. Little did you know that he knows you too well to not recognise you.

Bella: Have a seat Y/n.

You both sat down.

You: Umm... Can you.. Uhh nevermind.

You: Can you... Can you call Sam.. I haven't met him in my life. (you lied)

Sam: *comes down running* Hello aunt.

Sam: *runs to Y/n* You got me a gift?!

You say while handing him the toy car and the chocolate box you got for him.

Taehyung gives it to you as he sat down and you three start having a chat.

Bella's phone rings.

She says as she leaves the living room. Taehyung turns to you.

Y/n: *sighs in defeat* Umm... Can you tell me about him?

Taehyung: Why?

Y/n: Just tell me Taehyung.

Taehyung: Well all I know is his full name is Park Jimin and he has been working with Bella for almost 4 years now. He is quite good in work as well as personality a-

Y/n: Is he single?

You immediately shut your mouth as you realized what you have just asked.

Why did i just asked this? What's wrong with me?

Taehyung: *raises an eyebrow* Are you interested in him?

You: What? No!

Tae: Then why did you just asked this?

You: Come on Tae.. Do you really think I would ever be interested in a guy after what happened to me?

You mentally sigh in relief but Tae's question got you questioning yourself.. Why was I even interested in knowing his relationship status?

*After 3 days*

You were lying down in your hotel room thinking about Jimin. You yourself don't know why but he just doesn't leave your thoughts ever since you saw him. You closed your eyes as you remembered what happened that day for the 127th time.

You were walking upto his door when a man suddenly came out opening the door bumping straight into you.

You look upto the man and froze on your spot. It was like you were hypnotized. You kept on staring at him with your heart beating fast and your mind filled with hundreds of questions about him.

You open your eyes as you sigh. You remembered getting the feeling of meeting someone special when you first saw him... of getting the intuition that he is gonna stay in your life for a very long time.

The wish of meeting him again was killing you from inside and you finally decide to do something.

NEXT DAY

You were standing in front of the receptionist asking about Bella's cabin as the receptionist gasp after seeing you.

Receptionist: A-are you Y/n??

You: Yeah.. It's me but please don't tell anyone else.. I don't want any crowd right now.

Receptionist: Oh.. Okay but ma'am I am a huge fan of yours.. Can I please have your autograph?

You: I'll give it to you later.. Now can you please tell me where is Bella's cabin?

Receptionist: Umm.. Do you have any appointment with the CEO?

(Yes, Bella is the CEO of a huge pharmaceuticals company. It was her father's company.)

You: No but I am her friend... She knows me.

Receptionist: Oh okay.. I just need to ask ma'am first.

You internally felt happy after seeing the receptionist's professionalism. She knew who you are but was still following the procedures.

Receptionist: *after the call* Alright ma'am you can meet her. Her cabin is on the 7th floor, 2nd to the right of the elevator.

You went to the elevator pressing the 7th button mentally preparing yourself as to how you are going to ask her about Jimin without making it look awkward.

You: *entered the cabin* Hey Bella.

Bella: Hey Y/n.. What brings you here? Anything important?

You: Nothing I was just... you know... missing you.

You: *in mind* Missing you? Seriously Y/n? Missing Bella or missing Jimin?

You: So tell me something about Jimin.

You: I mean... You know I am about to start my own business in partnership right.. So I needed to know what kind of people should be there and how can I know which ones are productive and which are not.

Yes, you were actually here for your meeting with the TITs company for business partnership. It was recommended to you by your friend. It's actually a nice company with huge potential and productive employees but due to some health reasons of the owner he is not able to look after the company as much as he should and as a result it's not that much known. Right now it's just an average company in the IT sector but that's not a problem for you. You just needed a company with productive employees and an organised management system.

You were in your thoughts as you didn't look where you were going and bumped directly into someone.

You listened to the familiar voice and it didn't take even 1 second for you to recognise whose voice was it. How can it take long when the only voice in your mind these days was of his.

You: No no.. No need to be sorry. I am sorry. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even see where I was going.

Jimin: That's okay *smiles*

You: *in mind* Damn that smile.

Jimin: Umm... I'll leave then.

You nod as he goes away leaving you a smiling mess.

5 pm

You smile while sitting in your car again (technically in the hotel's car which you lended for the time you were in this city) thinking about his smile. You have been waiting since morning here in the car for Jimin to come outside after work since you didn't know his work timings.

You look outside the window as you notice a familiar figure standing at the entrance. It was Jimin but you instantly felt a huge pain in your heart as you saw him kissing a girl.
