Angel Dust lazily traced his finger along the top of his cup.

Another Valentines Day alone.

He sighed, chugging the shot and standing up.

"Hey, um, Angel?"

The spider perked up, turning his attention towards the sound of his friend Husk's voice.

"Yeah . . ?"

"Um, what are you gonna do today to celebrate? Are you going out with anyone?" Husker asked, seeming almost kinda . . . nervous?

"No." Angel frowned. "Just spending it the same way I do every year. Alone."

"What if-um-well-" The winged cat faltered, fidgeting with his hands. "Would wanna maybe, like, I don't know . . . spend it with me?"

Angel stopped, one hand on the railing of the stairs.

Had he heard that right?

"What do you mean?"

"Well-uhh-" Husk's ears flattened with embarrasment. "I guess I was just gonna ask if . . . maybe you'd be my valentine?"

Angel felt his face heat up. Was this really happening? Was he dreaming? Somebody wanted him to be their valentine-Husk, of all the sombodies.

"Um-sure. Okay." Was all the spider could say without screaming in pure joy.

"Really?" Husk smiled, a rare thing to see, his ears swiveling towards the other demon.

"Um, yeah, I guess. Unless you changed your mind-"

"NO!" Husk blurted in a hurry. "Um, no. Heh. I didn't change my mind."

Angel smiled. "Okay! Um, so what do you wanna do?"

"Oh. Uuuuuum-" Husk tapped his chin. "We could just go out, talk, have a good time-not in sexual way I mean."

The spider chuckled. "I get what yah mean. Come on, I know this great place! You like violence?"

"Oh hell yes!" Husk grins.

Charlie and Lucifer were hiding behind a corner, eavesdropping on the conversation.

Charlie laughs. "Oooooh, I think they're gonna kiss." She jokes.

"Maybe." Lucifer says. "Come on, let's let them be alone."

The two walked away to where Vaggie and Alastor were having a quiet conversation. Lucifer hugged his boyfriend, who returned the gesture with a light rub on the king's back. Charlie gave Vaggie a kiss on the cheek, and the four of them started talking.

Husker and Angel Dust were walking down a road, chatting about random things and laughing. They'd had a good day so far.

Until Valentino saw and started walking over.

"Angel, baby, I haven't seen you all da-" he was cut off by Husk pulling out bug spray and spraying Valentino, who backed away coughing.

Then he passed out.

Angel kicked his boss' head, trying to see if he'd get a response, but got nothing.

"Where'd you get bug spray?" He asked.

Husker shrugged. "I always carry it with me. You never know when you're gonna need it."

Angel smiled. "Well it's smart. My hero~"

Husk rolled his eyes, but smiled. "Yeah, yeah, whatev-"

Angel kissed his cheek and he froze mid-sentance.

Angel slapped a hand over his mouth. Oh I can't believe I just did that-

Husk hugged the spider, a slight purr rumbling in his chest, and Angel Dust practically melted at the gesture. Tears pricked at his lashline as he hugged the cat back, not used to such affection. He rubbed Husk's ears, and the purring only grew louder.

Angel squealed quietly.

Then Husk pulled away and led the spider over to a flower stand and bought a bouquet of roses, offering them to Angel.

Angel smiled and accepted the offer. They spent the rest of the day together, talking, getting to know each other better, and just having an over all good time.

When they got back to the hotel, Charlie and Vaggie were cuddled up and watching something on Charlie's phone. Alastor was sitting across from them, reading a book while Lucifer slept in his lap, his head on his shoulder.

Charlie looked up and smiled. "Hey guys! Be quiet; my dad's asleep."

"Yeah I can see that," Angel said softly, and Charlie saw the roses he was holding and smirked at the two, looking back down at her phone.

Angel noticed this and his face heated up, smiling as he walked past her to the stairs. Husk followed him up to his room, then stopped him.

"What is it?" Angel asks.

"Um, well, I was wondering if-if maybe you would wanna-if you would consider-" the winged cat gulped. "Will you be my boyfriend?"

Angel was quiet for a moment, his face growing hot as a smile crept onto his face.

"Are you okay?" Husker tilts his head.

"Oh-yeah! Um-yes! Yes I'll be your boyfriend." Angel looked at his feet, fidgeting with his hands.

Husk grinned and took the spider's hands in his, then pulled him into a kiss.
