as the chapter is long i did not have enough time to edit the mistakes.. please ignore it.. and have your earphones near before you start reading (you'll need them ;) )

"hahahahahaha...." There was a huge roar of laughter in the canteen of the SPACE Academy of Medical Sciences as Miss Nandini Murthy revealed the teeny weeny secret of THE Manik Malhotra. Everyone was present there around their usual lunch table (Fab 5 , Abhi, Navya, Aaryaman, Harshad, Soha and of course Nandini)

"seriously Manik... you were scared of cats... I just cant believe this... hahahahahaha..." cabir said between his laughs and nandini smirked looking at Manik's pink face.

"stop it na guys... I was just 7 year old then..." manik 'tried' to justify his act but it did nothing as they started laughing more.

"enough..!!" manik roared having enough of "manik is scared of cats..hahaha" from the last 30 minutes and said looking at everyones stunned expressions...

"ab chup ho jao warna sab ki pol kholne mai mujhe zyada time nahi lagega.." he challenged them and they knew they had to stop now or else they will have to face the monster and no one was ready for that.

"good.. and now as the lunch time is almost finished.. go back to your classes.. NOW.." and next minute everyone was walking towards their respective departments...uff typical Manik..!!!

"khadoos.." nandini muttered but before manik could catch her she ran away with Navya and Soha.

"ill not leave you miss murthy..!! get ready to pay back...and with interest..!!" he smirked and walked to his class.

"Guys tomorrow night lets go to my house... its been so long we have spent time together" Mukti said when everyone was present in canteen for lunch and everyone agreed

"haan yaar.. its been so long that we all have spent some quality time together... jab dekho tab exams, practical's ... im fed up.." Abhi said taking Mukti in a side hug

"aww... even I was thinking the same.. girls.. we don't have classes now.. let's go for shopping na" Aliya suggested and immediately everyone said a "No.."

"fine.." she mumbled little scared

"but suddenly kyun ??" manik asked a little suspicious at everyone agreeing for plan.. not that he was not happy but...but Mr.Malhotra had special plans..!!!

"kyun tujhe problem hai humare aane se.." cabir said faking a sad look and navya hit him on his shoulder

"kya... usne hi toh bola tha na.." he replied innocently

"are.. no.. why will I have a problem... aaisa kuch nai hai.. but I was just surprised.." manik said looking at everyones sad faces.

"great.. then tomorrow it will be girls night out... wow.. we will watch movies together and have lots of fun... ill inform Soha also..." nandini said excitedly

"so done.. tomorrow after classes we all will directly go to Malhotra mansion.. guys carry a pair of clothes also as we'll be staying there for the night.." Dhruv said and all nodded in agreement.

"mummy ji... maine cake order kar diya hai..." nyonika said in an excited tone and Dj laughed at her excitement

"aur maine decorations ka order de diya hai.." dadu said and Dj nodded her head acknowledging the same

"papa dekhte dekhte ek saal ho gaya... mujhe toh yakeen hi nai ho raha.." Nyonika was so so happy and that was evident in her tone. Dadu and Dj just smiled looking at her excitement.

"yes beta.. lets rock the show then.." dadu said and hi-fied with nyonika who had a never ending smile on her face.

"Manik.. what are you doing ??" nandini asked him as he just dragged her into an empty class room

"I should be the one asking this question Mrs.Malhotra.." he replied angrily and she frowned and replied in the same tone

"first its Miss.Murthy... shaadi nai hui hai humhari abhi tak..!!" and manik sighed and said

"yaar nandu..." and hugged her and she too gave in

"kya hua.. you seem disturbed..." she said slowly running her fingers in his hair and he sighed peacefully but didn't reply anything for few minutes. His breath on her neck was tickling her and she giggled not being able to control anymore

"why are you giggling.." he asked breaking the hug and she just nodded her head in a No.

"so whats bothering my cute monster.." nandini said cutely pinching his nose and he cringed at her new tag for him.

"seriously ..aur koi naam nahi mila tumhe..!!" he said grumpily and she giggled looking at his face.

"if you are not telling me why you brought me here.. ill go.. soha and navya must be looking for me.." nandini said and tried to walk away but he held her hand and pinned her to the wall

"kya hua manik..." she said and he pouted cutely

"nandu.. tum bhul gayi..." he said in a sad tone and she too played along

"is there something important manik.." she asked in a serious tone though she wanted to laugh loudly seeing his expressions.

"nandu yaar.. I know you remember it..." he whined like a kid (what's wrong with Manik today.. has manik from the spy in my house got into him today..?? lets see..)

"what do I remember manik ???" she asked playfully spoiling his hair style and now slowly he was getting angry but he tried to calm down himself

"accha toh you don't remember.." he asked tracing the ring on her finger and nandini bit her lip to control her smile

"umm..no.. actually yes.. I remember.." she said and manik sighed "finally yaadash wapas aa gayi iski" he thought and asked hopefully

"what did you remember..." only to get his hopes crushed the next minute

"I have a class now... Aaiyappa... im already late... ill see you in the evening .. bye manik..." she said hurriedly and walked out of that room after giving a tight kiss on his cheek.

"well played Mrs.Malhotra... I know you too well and I know you are acting.. 2 can play the game baby... wait and watch.." he smirked and walked out of that room (uff.. our manik is back)

Next day night

"yaar tum log na bahuth boring ho... lets play something naa.." nandini said sitting on the bed looking at others.

"yaar nandu tumne meri baath cheenli.." navya said looking at others who were just lazily laying on the couch in the living area.

"okay.. so lets play antakshari... but with a twist..." nandini said in an excited tone

"what.. Antakshari... grow up nandini... kal toh tumhara.." manik started and stopped abruptly and bit his tongue and she smirked

"kal kya manik..??" she asked innocently

"kuch nai.. duffer.." and hit her forehead and she slapped his shoulder and he winced at her 'shot'

"tu kyun bhul jata hai ki vo boxer hai.." cabir said in a teasing tone and manik scowled angrily

"we will not play this stupid antakshari.." manik announced and nandini got up and kept her hands on her hips and asked "aur vo kyun..??? tumhe nai khelna hai toh mat khelo.. we all will play.." she declared and manik made a face

"but yaar isn't it boring.. antakshari every time ..." dhruv said in a boring tone

"are.. that's why I said its with a twist... ill explain you the rules.. wait... so first we all will split in 2 teams and there will be a bowl.. we all will write some words in it for example 'moon' one team will pick up a chit and both the teams have to sing a song based on that word only.. which ever team doesn't sing will lose points.. at the end team with max points will win.." she ended her 'rules' and looked at others for approval and everyone agreed and she jumped on the couch

"careful..." manik, cabir, aaryaman ,dhruv, harshad, abhi, navya said at the same time and she smiled sheepishly and got down

"mai dadu dj mom aur dad ko bulati hun.." nandini ran to call them ignoring manik's "don't run be careful" warning

"okay then lets choose... first me.. mom.." nandini said and nyonika sat on their side

"yaar kis idiot ne yeh routine word likha hai.." dadu taunted and navya made a sad face and said "maine dadu.." he immediately smiled and said covering up "maine toh socha tha ki iss duffer cabir ne likha hoga.. koi nai bacche.. it's a very good choice.." everyone giggled except who sat with a grumpy face along with i-will-not-leave-you-all look.

"common don't waste time.." nandini said and manik sang

All the younger clan were looking at her with wide eyes and she winked at manik looking at his shocked+surprise expression.

"Ill pick up the next chit" navya said in a excited tone and read it aloud

Mukti and Soha sang together and giggled at the end of the song and everyone also started laughing.

Everyone got so immersed in the game that they didn't notice the time ...It was almost 12 by then and suddenly Nyonika got up and moved to the kitchen saying he wanted to drink water. And exactly at 12 all the phones started ringing indicating the alarm and the whole younger clan pounced on manan to wish them their birthday...!!!

"happy birthday and happy first anniversary guys...!!!" they shouted together and almost crushed the 2 poor souls

"guys.. I cant breath.." nandini managed to say and they released them with sheepish smiled. But manik didn't leave nandini and was holding her close to him, his both hands were wrapped around her waist and both were looking into each others eyes but a fake cough brought them out of their la-la land and they moved away blushing.

"cake time.." nyonika announced and brought the cake and manik and nandini together cut the cake, first they fed dadu and dj, then raj and nyonika and then their friends one by one and soon it turned into a cake fight when cabir just smashed a full piece of cake on maniks face.

All the elders moved to their rooms wishing manan once again and the youngsters went to wash their faces after clicking a lot a crazy selfies. They decided to call it a night and went to their respective rooms.

Aliya, soha and navya decided to share a room

Mukti nandini in their room

Cabir abhi in one room and aaryaman and harshad in another room.

And manik in his room.

After few minutes as per his routine manik and nandini were cuddled up in maniks room.

"happy birthday and happy first anniversary Mrs.Malhotra" manik said pecking her lips and she too returned the favour by giving a small peck on his lips and said "thank you and same to you Mr.Malhotra"

"accha where is my gift.." nandini asked manik and he scratched his neck and said sheepishly

"vo I thought you didn't remember and I got angry and I didn't buy anything for you..." and nandini was furious

"how can you do this manik... kaise boyfriend ho tum... huhh.." she huffed and tried to wriggle out of his grip but he didn't leave her and immediately surrendered

"im sorry na baby.. please... ill definitely buy something tomorrow.. pakka..." he said kissing her cheek and she looked away and didn't reply anything...

"gussa math ho na Jaan.. pleaseeee..." but she didn't look at him. Suddenly she felt something cold around her neck and she gasped looking at it.

"how can I forget to buy you a gift.. happy birthday love..." manik said and pecked her lips once again and she blushed...

"manik chodo.." she again tried getting up but he didn't let her move a millimetre and said

"ab kya hua.. why are you angry.. sorry yaar I was just teasing you.." he said and she just smiled in return and said

"tumne gift de diya.. now my turn.. leave.." and walked to his cupboard and brought a box neatly wrapped in a gift cover and said

"this is for you.. im not so good at selecting stuff for boys.. but I hope you like it.." and smiled looking at his eyes that were twinkling

He pecked her lips and said "whatever it is I already like it... but you hid it in my cupboard but how come I didn't see it.."

Nandini laughed and said hitting his forehead

"because I know where to perfectly hide things unlike you" and winked looking at his shocked expressions and continued "chalo now open... im dying to see your reaction.."

"don't tell me this is a prank.. and trust me if it is so you will pay a very heavy price for that..." manik warned her and she rolled her eyes and said "open manik.." and he slowly and carefully opened it and his smile grew wider

"super yaar.. thank you so much.." and hugged her tightly and she also smiled as he liked her gift.

"manik you really liked it naa..?" she was still confused and he just smiled and pecked her lips again and said "I loved it" and hugged her again.

"thank you aaiyappa.." she said in a low tone but he heard her as she was literally in his arms

"haan haan thank your aaiyappa to send a beautiful person like me into your life.." he said naughtily and she punched him lightly and laughed.

"I love you.." she said and kissed his forehead

"I love you more..." he said and took her lips for a deep passionate and love filled kiss. And after few more kisses and a lot more I love you and I love you more.. they finally slept with huge smiles on their faces and holding each other close.
