[At the Jeon head quarters]

"Sir," Da-yeon called worriedly. The company secretary looked upset and concern filled his gaze. He lifted the tab in his hand. "It's getting worse. At first, there were only a few comments. But now it feels like the situation is getting out of our hands." He showed his tab and scrolled through the screen. "It keeps coming and it gets more disrespectful with every passing minute. I'm worried little master would see this if we don't do something immediately."

The man worked with him for over two decades and cared for Jungkook. He was also an extremely loyal second-in-command, who kept his eye on everything.

Jinwan rubbed his temples and clenched his jaw. There were hate comments under every article, calling his son several names and digging his past with Minhyuk that wasn't good. They were also commenting how Jungkook wasn't suitable for this position. He didn't want Jungkook to see it, especially when his emotions were haywire with his hormonal changes.

"Find someone to take care of these negative tweets and comments. It seems like they paid for it. No matter what you do, I want them gone," he growled. Many of the Twitter accounts were knew with zero follows or followers. All anonymous. "Scout through the dark web or pull some talented ones from our internal IT team. There's no limit for money. Just get it down before he sees it. Also see if you can connect to the Twitter support. We need to stop this immediately."

"Yes, sir." His secretary rushed outside, pulling out his phone simultaneously.

An hour later...

"Any update?" Jinwan asked as soon as he saw his secretary coming back. He'd been on the phone, jumping from one call to the other, doing his best to do damage control.

"I found someone. The guy is an underground hacker and costs my kidneys. He wants money upfront." Da-yeon frowned. "He looks legit."

Jinwan frowned. "If he can take it down, then I don't mind paying him. This is my son's life. I'd rather not gamble with this."

Da-yeon nodded and was about to call him when the door opened and Jimin entered.

"Hey, dad!" The younger alpha grinned. "What's with the serious face? What's bothering you guys?"

Jinwan sighed. Jimin had been in meetings since he came back and didn't know what was going on. He explained briefly about the situation but his son-in-law just smiled. He looked unbothered and even whistled as he headed toward the coffee machine in the corner of the room.

"Coffee?"

Jinwan and Da-yeon shared a look. It was so unlike Jimin. Before he could voice out his thoughts, Jimin's phone pinged.

Jimin glanced at it, the alpha's grin widened, and he hummed. "Let's make that a hot chocolate then," he said, going to prepare three steaming mugs. "Feels like Jungkook is rubbing off on me."

If Jimin was acting calm and cool, then there must be something they weren't aware of.

"Am I missing something?" Jinwan frowned.

Jimin glanced over his shoulder with a smug smile. "It's taken care of. Check the sites now, Dad."

And Jinwan did. To his surprise, the comments were gone. He refreshed going from one tab to the other, but there was nothing except for the warm, welcoming comments.

Every negative tweet and comments were deleted as if they weren't there in the first place. He gaped at Jimin.

Jimin brought a tray with cups of hot chocolate to them. "If they want Jungkook, then they need to get through me first." He smirked. "Don't worry, Dad. My honey bun is resting and won't be online. I made sure of that." He squeezed Jinwan's shoulder before putting the tray down and grabbing a mug.

He went onto occupy the empty seat while Jinwan stood stupified on his spot. Da-yeon blatantly gaped at him. Jimin, however was unbothered, typing away on his phone.

"That easy?" Da-yeon murmured under his breath. He glanced at the phone in his hand once before putting it aside with a shake of his head. "He could have said that sooner."

Jinwan only pursed his lips with a smile because he knew Da-yeon didn't approve of Jimin for Jungkook initially. He was still wary of the alpha because of Jimin's past reputation. Jimin, who knew Da-yeon didn't like him, ignored him like he always did.

A few seconds later, a YouTube video began playing and Jinwan was once again surprised when he heard what it was. Jimin watched the Fish and Chips recipe with ardent attention taking notes side by side as he sipped the hot beverage.

"Fish and chips. Really?" Da-yeon grumbled but they could clearly hear him. "That's how he relaxes?"

Jinwan shook his head with a smile. Da-yeon grumbling was nothing new. He sometimes behaved like a disgruntled pup, but deep down he meant well. He was someone, who would jump in front of a bullet if needed to protect the head alpha's family.

Jimin hummed, not removing his gaze from the screen. "Mhmm...Honey bun wanted to eat fish and chips tonight." He immediately looked sober. "Maybe it's better if I send someone to fetch these things for me," he said to himself. "That way I can be home sooner."

Jinwan smiled while Da-yeon continued to stare in disbelief. Jimin didn't even move from his spot, too busy with the task in hand.

After finishing his cup, he jumped to his feet. He quickly put his mug away. "I have one more meeting to go. See you later." He winked at them and then he was off.

Jinwan went back to his chair with a relieved smile. He glanced at Da-yeon, who still stood in stupor.

"You asked me once why I'd choose a brute like him for my precious son," he said. "This is why. He might be impulsive and even aggressive but he's loyal and honest to the core. He left his family for something he believed was right and you know why I admire him so much. Because he stuck to his belief and didn't turn his back on her even when she was undeserving." He leaned back with a sigh. "Bringing up a pup as a single parent takes lot of dedication and includes numerous hardships, especially when you're suffering the loss of your mate. I chose him because I saw myself in him. When I saw them together, I noticed how devoted he was to my pup. Look at him now." He beamed with pride. "You were struggling to even find someone who can help us with it for hours, but he has already taken care of the threat."

Da-yeon nodded in understanding. "I was short-sighted." He bowed. "I realise my mistake now."

Jinwan waved him off. Da-yeon worked with him for over two decades and he knew his secretary meant well. But he trusted his gut instincts and believed Jimin was the one for his pup. He was only proved right.

He relaxed with a smile as he went back to work. He would keep an eye but wouldn't worry too much. His pup was in safe hands.
