Will You Be My Daddy? 🐰- 79

Head Omega Sun-Young Jeon approached her car with an exhausted sigh. Being rich wasn't easy as it appeared from the outside. Born in a middle class family, she had resigned herself to be courted by a regular alpha and settle in a similar life. That was until they received a proposal from the former alpha Jeon.

Her father worked as an accountant for the pack and it had come through him. Head Alpha Jeon, who recently lost his mate, needed a wife. And since he knew her father, he had suggested a proposal to marry her.

Her entire family was elated. Everyone thought their hardships were finally over. What no one considered was the fact that the head alpha already had a pup. Little Jinwan was a purebred alpha just like his father.

Upon entering the mansion, however, Sun-Young realized it wasn't that easy. Her wolf rejected the pup and the pup rejected her. Both couldn't be in the same room as each other, but were forced to because of the head alpha.

Years later, they still didn't see eye to eye. Her wolf still saw him as an outsider while in truth she was the outsider. Despite their differences, Jinwan always treated Seoyeon better. But that spoiled daughter of hers had to go and fall in love with an useless alpha and get pregnant. Thus she lost the favor of her father.

Upon their wedding, Seoyeon migrated to the Kim pack though she continued to live off the Jeon pack. For years, Sun-Young tried to bring her daughter to her senses. Because as much as she loved her daughter and wanted only the best for her, she also knew what was at stake.

She shouldn't have let the position of the head omega blind her. Perhaps, all the money that rolled through her hands and the luxury had also played a role. Sun-Young might have married into the family as a second wife, but she had to fight fangs and claws to earn respect and be where she was. Nothing came easy.

Through her clever and calculative plans, she drew people to her side throughout the years. The meager shares left to her by her mate earned something and apart from that, she was provided a monthly allowance from the pack. She spent all that on her daughter and her family.

Sun-Young took care of her lazy daughter all these years. But she didn't know how long she'd be able to do that. Because the recent happenings have been a revelation. No matter where she was and how far she had come, some things never changed. She was and she will always be an outsider.

She never saw Jinwan hiring someone like Park Jimin as a new Vice Chairman. The things she heard about the Park alpha didn't fare well with her. He was a brute and with him as the second major shareholder, she wondered how this was going to affect her and her daughter's family.

Jinwan was clever. She had no doubt he would find some way to hand the position over to Jungkook. It angered her that Seoyeon was so careless and carefree about everything. That stupid daughter of hers hadn't even gotten into her thick skull that she was now part of a Kim pack and not the Jeon pack.

Just because they could enjoy a few family privileges didn't mean they could do anything they wanted. Even now, they had to apply to the Jeon Head Omega because Minhyuk was part of the Jeon pack. Since the omega always moved to her alpha's pack after the wedding, this was one way to bring Sohee into the Jeon pack.

That was why she was urging the pair to get married sooner. But they have been delayed until now. They couldn't risk going against Jinwan. The situation was complicated.

The pack headquarters arrived when she was lost in her thoughts. She exited the car, nodding her head and acknowledging the greetings. The Jeon pack headquarters was the same as the Jeon Group headquarters. They had a dedicated floor for the pack affairs.

Her two-inch heels clicked away on the pristine tiles. She rode the elevator and kept her head held high the entire time. This position was something she held with high regards. It was supposed to be an impossible feat, but here she was. Perhaps she was the first non-purebred omega to decorate this seat.

She entered the floor dedicated to the pack affairs, accepting the greetings and respectful bows thrown her way. The corners of her mouth curved up involuntarily. Her heart refused to give this up so easily.

After being looked down for the first half of her life, she valued what she had now. This respect was not only addictive but also made her feel smug. It was a wonderful feeling to have even those purebred alphas and omegas to bow at her.

Her office was the best in the entire floor. The floor to ceiling windows provided the best view of the city and the wide skies. She entered the spacious cabin at the end of the corridor and took a moment to admire it.

It had a big mahogany desk once her mate used. Mounted on top of it was a desktop computer and photo frames of her family. There were photos of Jinwan and Jungkook too. Some people couldn't be avoided even if she wanted to. The pack couldn't know the things that were happening inside.

The couch in the sitting area was imported from Italy and the coffee table was from France. She really had a great life. Once upon a time, her family couldn't even afford second hand furniture nor had the space to put them in their one bedroom home.

With a sigh, she ran a hand over the couch and glanced around with a smile. This was truly her happy space. After ten minutes, she finally took a seat, marveling at the softness of the leather as she powered her computer.

It was then she noticed the mail that was left on her table. A frown tugged at the corner of her lips when she noticed it was from the Pack Regulatory Authority.

Sun-Young's heart sank when she noticed her title. Acting Head Omega. She gritted her teeth. As if she didn't know she was only a temporary placement. She grabbed a letter opener and opened it carefully. Dread filled her chest.

The letter slipped from her hand and she gasped for breath. What? She glanced to the side and noticed that there was indeed a gift on the side. She backhanded it and sent it to the floor.

She immediately entered the password to her system, only for the system to show "Access Denied."

"What the hell is going on?"

"Junho!"

"Junho!"

"Yes, ma'am." The manager rushed inside with an alarmed expression.

"Why can't I access the computer?"

Junho's expression relaxed. "Oh, Omega Jeon, that's because you're no longer the head omega. Only head omega can access the computer." A frown tugged at the corner of his lips. "Didn't you check your email? We all got one."

"Email?" she whispered and immediately took her phone out to check only to growl when she realized she was locked out of that too. She fumed, but composed herself. "There's something wrong. Show me the email."

Junho nodded and brought his phone forward. "Here, ma'am."

Her frown only deepened. It was an email from the pack's administrative office to all the staff.
