Jimin clenched his jaw as he stared at the email that demanded him to report to work at 7.30 am in morning for the rest of the week. It was 7 pm and he was still in office. His time was scarce as it was and he felt like he barely got to spend time with his pup as it was.

The alpha was furious. To be at work at 7.30 he needed to start at least by 5.30 in the morning. Waking the sleeping pup and dragging him to one of the hyung's home sounded like a nightmare already. If that wasn't enough he didn't know how long he would be expected to work and how late he would reach home.

The wolf growled in annoyance as he dialed the department head's number. Perhaps he could ask the man to reconsider. It had always been this way. He knew it wouldn't work, but he had to try at least. Just the thought of the upcoming days alone was beginning to stress him out.

Jimin was already considering changing his job but was worried about the effects it would have on his pup. It would take a bit of an adjustment and with Jungkook in the picture; he wondered what the best course forward was. He would have to find an alternative.

Jimin exhaled as he sank into the bed. Jungkook was sleeping in the other room with his pup. He smiled when he noticed the omega had diligently scented the bed sheets.

He reached half an hour ago and he was relieved when he saw the pup crawling into the omega's nest immediately, falling asleep curled under the sheets. Jungkook asked him if he ate something and when he said he didn't get time, the omega had scolded him gently before heating up the leftovers for him to eat.

Then he had settled in the guestroom, surprised to see his things were already unpacked and arranged. His suits were hung neatly in the closet. He already felt as if half of the weight was lifted off his shoulders.

For the first time in life, he experienced the pleasure of having a reliable companion who was so willing to share everything with him. As he closed his eyes, filled with relief and all the stress from the evening ebbing away, hope filled his chest. He looked forward to these couple of days and fell asleep with a smile on his face.
