Will You Be My Daddy? 🐰- 170

Jimin woke to the incessant ringing of his phone. He frowned when he noticed the caller ID and the time. A glance at the clock told him it was still too early. His mom wouldn't call at this time unless it was an emergency. He silenced the phone so as not to wake his sleeping mate and swiped his thumb across the screen.
"Mom? Is everything alright?" Worry etched his voice since it was still the wee hours of the morning. Sliding out of the covers, he strode out of the room, closing the door behind him.
"No," her voice cracked. "I-It's your brother."
Alarm coursed through him, and his brows creased. His wolf surfaced, fully alert upon hearing her sniffle on the other end of the phone. "What about him?" He knew from experience whatever she had to say wasn't good news.
"Jin-Shan called. He wouldn't tell me anything. They're at the hospital. That's all I know, and my wolf is so restless. I just know it must be bad."
"Okay?" Jimin's frown deepened. "Which hospital?"
"SNH," she sniffled. "I'm on my way. He said Jin-Young had trouble breathing."
"Where's dad?"
"He's on his way back from Busan. He left as soon as I called."
Just as Jimin was talking to her, he heard another incoming call, which was from his father. "Dad is calling. Don't worry. I'll be there as soon as I can, alright?"
"Okay."
The line ended and he answered his father's call. "Dad."
"It's Song Beomseok's sons. Baek-Hyung and Byon-Ho."
"What happened?" Jimin glanced over his shoulder to see the bedroom door that was still closed, jaw clenching as he listened to his father. Fury etched his voice and even if they couldn't see each other, he could feel the fury and tension rolling off him in waves.
"Jin-Young and Jin-Shan were out for a business dinner in the Signiel Seoul Hotel. They cornered them in the parking lot with their men and beat them up. Beomseok's post about challenges is false. They weren't challenged. Your brothers were ambushed. Jin-Young was drunk and was in no condition to defend himself. Jin-Shan said they came out of nowhere. There was no challenge issued. It was a planned attack."
Jimin's grip tightened around the phone until his knuckles turned white.
"They left when they heard someone coming."
"What do you want me to do?"
"Someone touched your brother. It's up to you how you want to deal with them." The line went dead, leaving Jimin to his devices.
Jimin hit the brakes and his car came to a stop with a screech. The Song pack Headquarters stood tall in front of him. The Song wolves were ambitious and wanted everything similar to the bigger packs that they leased a commercial building.
He wondered how they could even afford the rent. The Song pack was rich but not rich enough to be able to afford the ridiculous rent and upkeep of this property unless he was doing some shady shit.
That was none of his business. Beside him, Jin-Young straightened in the passenger seat. Jin-Shan cursed under his breath.
"Get out," Jimin growled at them, controlled rage seeping into him in waves.
He didn't spare a glance at his brothers. Jin-Young preferred negotiations over physical challenges. But this was no place for negotiations. Jin-Shan, on the other hand, loved to be a spectator for such events.
Jin-Young's hand was in a cast, purple bruises blooming on his jaw. He limbed and one hand clutched his broken ribs. He shouldn't be out of the bed yet, but his brother insisted he wanted to join him.
As for Jin-Shan, he only had bruised ribs and took a few hits because Jin-Young protected him. Jimin was furious beyond belief. They might not be in talking terms, but they were still his brothers and important members of the Park Pack.
His mom didn't want them to leave the hospital yet. However, Jimin was adamant when he set his sight on something. Also, this had to be addressed immediately. The Song had started something he wasn't equipped to handle and Jimin had to show him what would happen when he crossed the boundaries.
"Hyung, at least wait till our men are here," Jin-Young tried to reason.
Jimin exited the car, slamming the door shut and making his presence known. "This is not a group project."
The guards outside the pack HQ straightened, their posture tensing when they noticed him marching toward them. Jin-Young hurried to match his pace, and Jin-Shan fell behind him.
"Hyung, at least call Dad," Jin-Young said, his scent shifting with unease. "This could lead to a pack war."
"Shut up," Jin-Shan hissed. "He's literally the Head Alpha. What could they do to him?"
"It's already war," Jimin snarled. One of the guards approached him, but Jimin moved like a predator out on a hunt. He grabbed his neck, pushing him with a force that caused him to stagger. In a blink of an eye, he pinned him against the wall.
"Where are Baek-Hyun and his brother?" he snarled.
The guard struggled. "I-Inside."
"Take me to them." Jimin began to drag him inside.
The other guards looked confused momentarily and tried to block his path, but Jin-Shan yelled, "Pack alpha coming through. Make way, please." He inclined his head at them with an exaggerated smile. "Shouldn't you guys bow? Bow to him now."
The guards looked even more startled. A few bowed while the others stood with a puzzled look.
"What are you doing?" Jin-Young hissed.
"Announcing his arrival?" Jin-Shan stated, and Jimin rolled his eyes.
He forgot how his younger brother was. Jin-Shan often stayed silent in his presence, and it was rare to see him lower his guard like this. Jimin supposed he could have had a better relationship with them if it wasn't for the fucked up way he was brought up.
They rode the elevators and strode through the long corridors. By now, he had almost everyone's attention. He was in the Song pack headquarters in broad daylight, only mere hours from the time of the incident.
Head Alpha Song Beomseok's tweet and Korean Times' headlines were already gaining too much attention as people were wondering about the challenge that took place with little to no notice. So here he was to pay in kindness.
His presence commanded attention, and his aura was intimidating. Jimin knew the power he held over the men around him. There was nothing lethal than a purebred wolf that was pissed off. The Song brothers should have known better than to go after his brothers.
Loud, ruckus laughter greeted their group first. A sense of familiarity washed over him. Jimin let go of the security guard, who scampered away, happy that he was finally free.
Jimin kicked the door to the office room door open and scrunched his nose upon seeing the situation inside. The office would be the last word he would associate with the scene before him. The place looked like the aftermath of a high schooler's party.
Several intoxicated alphas and betas lounged on the couches, and other seats littered around the room. The scent of cigarettes and alcohol was strong in the air.
Omegas clad in skimpy clothes were attached to a few alphas, engaged in acts of intimacy. They were certainly throwing a party, celebrating the cowardly attack. Baek-Hyung and Byung-Ho sat on a sofa near the TV, where a news anchor reported the challenge that never occurred. It was a planned attack.
Baek-Hyun was the first to notice Jimin, and he jumped to his feet with a speed that dislodged the omega sitting on his lap. The omega fell to the floor with a grunt. Whatever complaint he was about to utter died when the omega's eyes fell on the furious purebred.
"Long time no see, Baek-Hyun," Jimin greeted with a wicked grin. Byung-Ho, who noticed his arrival, only now paled when his gaze fell on his brothers behind him.
Baek-Hyun chuckled. "It's been a while, Jimin." He smirked. "While I'm glad to see you again..." He waved at the scene around him. "I'm a bit tied up now, as you can see."
"Then let's make it quick," Jimin sneered. "You wanted a challenge. Here I am." He glanced at the omegas and others in the room. "Everyone, you may leave except for Baek-Hyun and Byung-Ho. You can stay if you wish to fight me. I promise I won't spare any of you if you decide to stay."
Everyone scattered as if they'd seen a ghost, scampering out of the room.
"Out. Faster!" Jin-Shan ushered everyone with a hint of laughter. "Don't look back."
"What?" Baek-Hyun laughed. "A challenge? You don't even belong to the Park family anymore,. The last time I heard, you left the pack." He straightened with a challenging look in his eyes. "You can't challenge me, Park Jimin. You have no right."
"Ah, well...you see...that's where you're wrong, dude." Jin-Shan leaned forward, peeking over Jimin's shoulder with a sly smile. "Because he is the head alpha of the Jeon Pack and the future head alpha of the Park Pack."
The corners of Jimin's lips twisted with a smug look. He slanted a glance toward his brother, who looked extremely pleased. The Head alpha let the others process the news, relishing how their smug look changed into bewilderment and fear.
"My hyung has every right to challenge you. But you won't be conscious to warn your daddy when he's done with you," Jin-Shan smirked.
"You shouldn't have touched my brothers," Jimin growled. "No one touches my family and walks away unscathed." Then he lunged.
Baek-Hyun threw the drink he had in his hand at him, but Jimin dodged. His fist connected with Baek-Hyun's jaw just as Byung-Ho swung his hand at him. Jimin elbowed Byung-Ho, moving his head away with a smirk.
Byung-Ho's poor aim and powerless hit swished past him. The man himself swerved, losing his balance and tripping over his feet, planting face-first on the floor. Baek-Hyun recovered faster from the first hit, kicking out his feet.
Jimin blocked his leg before it connected with his ribs. He grabbed his ankle, twisting it and punching the soft spot in Baek-Hyun's inner thigh. Baek-Hyun let out a pained scream, both hands shooting out to grab his thigh, and he staggered.
They were both drunk. Jimin wouldn't have touched them while being drunk. However, they attacked his brothers while they were both intoxicated. For a planned attack that only intended mortal harm, he had every right for retribution.
Byun-Ho tried to crawl away, but Jin-Shan blocked his path, shutting the door with a boisterous laugh. "Uh-uh, not that soon. The party isn't over yet."
Jin-Young scoffed, stepping beside Jin-Shan to keep Byung-Ho away from the door. On the other hand, Baek-Hyun threw punches at Jimin, but the Head Alpha blocked every punch quickly. However, his punches, in return, never missed their mark. Baek-Hyun stood no chance against a skilled fighter like Park Jimin. His movements were sloppy.
"I warned you," Jimin growled. "I told you to stay away from my path." He grabbed his collar and lifted him roughly. "You dared to go after my brother like a coward and attacked him without warning. Where is your honor? You're a coward wolf, just like your father. You're powerful only when you have a backup." He threw him to the floor. He marched toward him, grabbing his neck and squeezing it. "When you wake up—if you wake up, tell your daddy that Park Jimin will end his bloodline." He tightened his hold around his neck. "This is for disrespecting my mate, Jeon Jungkook."
Only their screams slipped out of the room, the entire Song pack members available at the HQ, watching helplessly.

Jin-Young grimaced every time Jimin made contact with Baek-Hyun's body. His elder brother has always been hot-headed with a temper that scared him shitless.
While Jimin never once raised his voice at him, Jin-Young always regarded him highly with respect. He was someone he looked up to. Jimin was a born leader. It was in his nature to lead and protect, unlike Jin-Young who preferred a calm lifestyle.
It was why he refused to take the mantle even when his father stressed about it in a fit of anger. There was no one who could fill Jimin's shoes. He was meant to stay by his side, not replace him.
"I almost forgot how savage our brother is," he commented. "We've only heard about him before. It's my first time witnessing this in person."
"I've seen it once when he broke Kim Pack Head Alpha's son's nose. I went with mom to the gala. Hyung looks so cool and scary."
"It's scary to me," Jin-Young murmured.
"You're always afraid of him."
Jin-Young rolled his eyes. "It's called respect. I've always respected him."
"And frightened." Jin-Shan wasn't giving up.
"Whatever that helps you sleep."
Together, the brothers watched the punishment being dished out to their attackers not so kindly.
