This comes after Pack Trial – Part 4

[The reactions of the pack happened during the day when the announcements went out. I posted Part 4 first since I didn't want to break the continuation of that day and that scene had to be read after the punishment scene to understand Jimin's need for intimacy.]

Jimin stirred in his sleep for the umpteenth time that night, rousing Jungkook too. His distressed scent reached him before the alpha nuzzled into his scent gland, arms tightening around him in his sleep.

Jungkook tried to adjust his position and get comfortable but the alpha's arms were too tight. One of his hands, splayed over his abdomen, caressing in a possessive gesture and he mumbled something before he settled.

However, Jungkook knew it was only a matter of minutes before the alpha moved again. He could feel his restlessness through their mating bond. It was disrupting his sleep as well. He turned in the alpha's hand to face him.

Jimin's eyes were closed but he could see the eyeballs moving behind the lids. With a sigh, he leaned to scent him, releasing calming pheromones. Slipping a hand behind his back, Jungkook began to rub his back.

But even that wasn't enough to calm the alpha. It worked for a few minutes but Jimin was already moving, scent stirring with distress. Jungkook clenched his jaw. It was the day of the trial. He told Jimin he wanted to sit this one out because he wanted nothing to do with Minhyuk or his family. He didn't care what Jimin did with them.

However, if it was affecting Jimin to this extent, then something must have happened. Something his mate wasn't ready to share with him yet. Jungkook decided to talk to his dad in the morning. Closing his eyes, he snuggled his best to his alpha, humming a soft melody and listening to his heartbeat.

After a while, Jimin seemingly calmed down. The frequency with which he kept waking up lessened until he stopped moving and sank into a deep slumber.
