Sohee was furious beyond imagination.

How dare that bitch!

She pressed the ice pack on her bruised face and hissed at the sudden flare of pain. Everything hurt. June did a number on her.

That fucking bitch!

She would have screamed if she could. But June punctured her face to the point it was barely recognizable anymore. She was glad Minhyuk wasn't home, yet. Hearing him call her the name Jungkook often used was the last thing she wanted to deal with right now.

Her chest heaved with how harshly she was breathing. The omega hadn't relaxed a bit since her walk of shame from the station. Everything changed upside down when they learned it was a challenge—the one she apparently accepted.

And she happened to live in a neighborhood that housed the majority of the wolves that belonged to Park and Jeon pack wolves, so it was absolutely of no help. Fuck Minhyuk for taking a home here.

Well, he did belong to the Jeon pack, and these residential units received a subsidy for qualified pack members. Sohee was furious when they moved in, but Minhyuk was an ass. She expected a three-bedroom apartment in the most expensive part of the town. Instead, she ended up in one of the cheapest neighborhoods.

However, the alpha had just told her to get a place using her money, and this was all he could afford. She had no come back for that, considering her cards were confiscated just before she came to Seoul because of an uproar she created in a hotel lobby.

It was the hotel management's fault to tell her that the club was closed for a private event and they had no rooms available. The staff was so disrespectful. Why the fuck would she even care if it was closed for a bachelor party? Why was it her problem if the rooms were rented out to the wedding guests?

She was an honorable member of the Jeon pack, and her grandmother was the Head Omega. They should have just allotted a VIP room for her at least. She promised her friends a good time before taking them there.

She'd lost her cool, but her grandmother had grounded her because she wanted to please Uncle Jeon. Or more like Jinwan threatened to demote her if she didn't ground her and stop letting her use her privileges. That stupid good-for-nothing Head Alpha.

Everything just fueled her anger. It wasn't helping in the least. If only she had that card. She wouldn't have to rely on Minhyuk. What did Jungkook even see in him?

Sohee sighed. Minhyuk was handsome. Or he was to her teenage eyes. He was so tall and had broad shoulders and slender waist. Everyone mistook him for a purebred alpha. Unless someone got closer to him and get a whiff of his scent that lacked the unique trait purebred alphas carried, no one would know.

Even the bastard knew it. So he often used scent blockers in the public and led everyone to believe he was a purebred. Sohee, too didn't know he wasn't a purebred until later. Until she had his cock in his mouth that was.

She was no blushing virgin when they met. Sohee has had her fair share of flings in school, and she loved how boys were ready to drop at her feet in a heartbeat.

She knew her popularity was partially due to Jungkook. But she used it to her benefit. Alphas or betas didn't matter as long as they came in handy. She used sex and flirting as a means to get favors.

Unfortunately for her, the purebred alphas were limited, and she never got her hands on them. The few in her school were already dating and were in committed relationships. They were always high in demand and only preferred a purebred omega. She was not one. Even scent blockers didn't help her cause. They all knew she wasn't one. To them, she was just Jungkook's ordinary cousin.

When Jungkook used to talk about his dreams of the one, she used to laugh secretly because her cousin was saving himself for his alpha. And she was way ahead of him. Maybe she even took pride in her headcount.

Her cousin could never. He was weak and didn't know how to flirt or use their weakness to his benefit. What was the point in being a handsome purebred omega when he didn't know how to use it? It didn't help that everyone easily got intimidated by him.

And he was on the bigger side and was easily mistaken for an alpha if not for his scent. So she took pleasure in being a prim and delicate omega. Just like her grandmother and the majority of the alphas preferred.

Then Jungkook began to date his best friend. Minhyuk always eyed her as if she was his next meal whenever they met. But she wasn't interested in him because he was useless to her. He came from a lower middle-class family and his dad worked in one of the Jeon family's companies. That was until Jungkook introduced him to her as his boyfriend.

Sohee was furious. How dare his cousin beat her to have a boyfriend first? Suddenly, Minhyuk appealed more to her. She became more curious. She didn't doubt his status as a regular alpha because why would Jungkook date an ordinary alpha, right? Unfortunately for her, she was wrong. Jungkook was blinded by love.

Her cousin was too shy to allow their relationship to be physical until college. She mocked him at every chance, but her poor cousin took it as teasing and just flicked her forehead in response, calling her a kid.

She thirsted to show him she wasn't a kid and that she knew more than he would ever know. Unfortunately, she met Minhyuk only during the weekends, and even then; they were always glued together so that she couldn't try anything.

Like a crane waiting for a fish, she waited just to prove she was a better fuck than Jungkook. Imagine her surprise when she learned Jungkook never gave Minhyuk head. She volunteered to show Minhyuk what he'd been missing all along.

He refused to fuck her even when she offered herself on a fucking platter. It only increased his appeal in her eyes. She tried her best to get him to notice her and chased him, dropping to her knees whenever she could.

It was thrilling because every time Minhyuk came into her mouth, she knew Jungkook could never have this because her cousin was too reserved. Only her. Her wolf would puff its chest in pride because she was taking care of her alpha when her cousin failed.

From then, she slowly poisoned Minhyuk's mind by telling him how Jungkook wasn't a right fit for him, but that stupid alpha always brushed her off.

So Sohee took it as a challenge. She never gave up easily and her efforts paid off eventually. Minhyuk believed Jungkook was looking down on him and treating him the way he did because of his purebred status. The alpha began to nitpick on everything Jungkook did, reading too much into it.

He even went as far as to sabotage Jungkook's study sessions just because the omega gained more marks than him and was always a topped. Jungkook, however, had his priorities straight. He didn't appreciate Minhyuk affecting his studies and everything else.

Then the fights started, and she rejoiced. The day their big fight happened, Minhyuk was furious. There was an important exam next day, but Minhyuk wanted to have sex. He's pressured Jungkook despite his refusal. Jungkook hadn't gotten wet for him, and her dear cousin refused to let him fuck him.

It hurt Minhyuk's pride that he couldn't get Jungkook wet. The argument blew into a huge fight. She didn't know the nitty-gritty of the night, except from what she gathered from Minhyuk's furious rant. Ultimately, Minhyuk was abandoned in the parking lot by her furious cousin next morning.

That day, she had dropped her panties for him to show how good she could be for him and how wet she was for him. They had sex for the first time. Oh, she even had a better plan. She coaxed Minhyuk to fuck her in the backseat of Jungkook's car—his precious collection and the latest birthday gift from his dear father.

Sohee decided to leave an even a better gift for him. Jungkook would never forget it after that day and he would never see her as a naïve kid again. He would also know that she was a better wolf and omega than him. The one, who could satisfy an alpha he failed to satisfy.

To say, it was worth it. That day, she saw her confident and headstrong cousin crumble into nothing. That day, he was just an omega. He cried for the first time in front of her and that was her biggest win of all time.

He even lost his composure, hitting her for the first time ever. He slap left her disoriented for the next few days, but it was enough to get her grandmother's sympathy to the point, she had slapped Jungkook. If it wasn't only for Jinwan to storm in and ruin everything.

Still, she had reached a place where she could beat him. At least that was what she thought. She had been riding high on her victory and laughed so hard when Jungkook left Busan that she failed to realize what a pain Minhyuk was. The alpha entirely depended on her for all his expenses and ordered her around.

She, too, did everything he asked for to keep him. When she said something, he would threaten to leave her for Jungkook. "Jungkook will always take me back if I beg him," he would say. So she stuck to his side like glue.

She could not let Jungkook find out she couldn't keep Minhyuk. That was a straight hit to her ego and pride. So even if she knew he wasn't being honest with her, she kept him around. Then it became a necessity because she realized she had no chance of taking Jungkook's place if she didn't become a pack member.

No one who knew of her fall out in the pack would date her, much less marry her. Shortly after Jungkook left, everything turned upside down for her. She was mocked and called a cheater, no matter how hard she tried to turn the story around. Later, she used all the hate to pretend like a pitiful victim to her friends. They, too, believed her until recently.

Life was pretty good. People were already forgetting his existence and thought he abandoned his responsibilities. Why couldn't it stay like that? Why did Jungkook have to come back? Her plan was solid. She could marry Minhyuk, and when the time came to challenge Jungkook. With no alpha or a pup, he would be easily overthrown.

But what happened was entirely the opposite. Jinwan outright said he won't allow her to get married unless she got Jungkook's blessings. Also, that he threatened he won't attend the wedding if she failed to do that and if people asked why, he would have to tell them the truth.

Marrying Minhyuk in the absence of Jungkook's presence would have only proved the truth, and it would further harm her reputation. As a head alpha, he could also reject her license request.

So she tried her best to find Jungkook's whereabouts and convince him to come over. In the meantime, her grandmother tried her best to convince the others that Jungkook was unfit to become a Head Omega.

Her uncle was extremely careful, and even if someone spotted Jungkook in Seoul, they didn't let out a peep or tell anyone where he was.

He stayed low-key until he came into her life like a tidal wave, crashing and throwing everything off. Now she was left to fight for everything she carefully built. With no money and reputation damaged, she couldn't show her face outside.

The Kim pack had called her in for an initial inquiry and told her they would hand her over to the Jeon pack for further investigations because she conspired against the Head Omega. Her ID was confiscated, and she wasn't allowed to leave the country.

Not that she ever left Korea. It just didn't happen despite her big plans. Jinwan always snubbed her when she tried to tail her grandmother. Also, any trip outside the country required his written consent for the funds to be released. He never allowed anyone to join her grandmother.

And without her ID, she couldn't even work anywhere else. A wolf without an ID was as good as a banned wolf destined to live on the streets. So her mother took refuge with her grandmother while Sohee moved in with Minhyuk.

Now as she sat on her living room couch, cursing at the glitter that ruined everything in the vicinity, thanks to the fight, she blamed everything on Jungkook. If only he weren't a stupid purebred.

"You should have clawed at her face," her mother announced her presence as loud as she could as she brought over the take-out food and laid it out at the coffee table.

They couldn't cook even if their life depended on it. Thanks to Minhyuk's card. Otherwise, she didn't know how she would have survived. Her mom hitched a ride with someone who was kind enough to drop her at home. She started lamenting as soon as she arrived; only stopping here and there to comment on the ugly bruise on her face and how ugly she looked with a swollen face.

"Who did this to you again?" Her mother asked.

"June," Sohee gritted out. "She challenged me."

"Who gave her the right?!" Seoyeon bellowed. "You're the granddaughter of former head omega. How could anyone challenge you?"

"The current Head Alpha, your dear brother." Sohee eyed the food vehemently. She didn't think she could work her jaw to chew it down. It hurt to even move it a little.

"Half-brother," Seoyeon growled. "I won't let this slide." She waved her index finger animatedly in the air. "How dare he hurt his niece?!"

Sohee rolled her eyes and winced when she remembered she had taken a hit on her eye too. Now she looked like a red panda. If Jungkook saw her now, he might have mocked her and called her a puffer fish. She hated that nickname. They were such ugly creatures.

"You said June?" Seoyeon asked without waiting for her response. "As in Juniper West? That foreigner's daughter?"

Sohee grunted. "Her mother is a Korean, though." June's mom met her dad, a Canadian transfer student, in college. They married and lived here for a few years before moving to live abroad.

"Why is she back now? I thought that bitch of her mother left for good." Her features contorted, and there were already a few age wrinkles. Sohee didn't dare point it out.

Sohee pursed her lips. June always worshiped the ground Jungkook walked on, and she was too much. They should have stuck together, but nope. She always chose Jungkook and found mistakes in everything she did. Sohee wasn't fond of her, and the feeling was mutual.

"Her mother was a menace. She used to think being Hyewa's cousin gave her the right to bully us. What a bitch!" Seoyeon continued. Her scent turned bitter and laced with anger as it always did when they talked about June's mom, Areum.

"What's your story?" Sohee asked, dropping the ice pack. "Did she bully you too?"

Seoyeon took a deep breath. "Well, if you count the time she stole the alpha I liked and all the times she talked down on me, we never had a good history."

Sohee tilted her head to the side. "I see." She grabbed her Coke and sipped. "Be honest, Mom. It's the other way, isn't it? You tried to steal her alpha."

Seoyeon looked flustered, and her cheeks turned pink. "Shut up." She stuffed her mouth with food. "At least I married first and had you before she gave birth to June."

"We are months apart," Sohee gritted, pressing the cold Coke to her cheeks.

Her mother ignored her comment. "How did you know? About me trying to steal him I mean."

"We are both alike. What's the deal? So how did you lose him?" she asked.

Seoyeon sighed. "I saw him first, okay?" She huffed. "On his first day, I was the one who showed him around. I even invited him to eat lunch with me. Ryan West was everyone's dream." Her eyes held a distant look, a smile playing on her lips. "Everyone wanted to befriend him, and he became popular for his bronze hair and striking green eyes. He looked like a Greek God, you know," she gushed. "But then Areum happened. She was the only one he had eyes on."

"So what did you do?"

Seoyeon shrugged. "It was unfair, you know. I saw him first, and I liked him first. She wouldn't even look at him twice. He rejected all my courting gifts but followed her around like a lost puppy. I was hurt. So I tried to kiss him and prove I was better. He pushed me away, and she walked in. Things didn't go well. I vowed to marry someone before her and be better than her. I married your father."

"Didn't go well for you, hmm?"

Seoyeon sighed. "I met him in a club. He was working for the Kim family and had the same last name. I mistook him for the youngest son of Kim Head Alpha. Only when we were filing for a marriage license did I find he was just an assistant, and that day at the club, he was accompanying the real heir. I was already pregnant and found out Areum had also filed for a license. So I kept my mouth shut and married him."

"Kinda like me."

"That's why I kept telling you to cut him off once you became a Jeon pack member." Her mother sighed. "Just the status as a Jeon pack member and former Head Omega's granddaughter would have brought you better alphas."

"I know and I was going to do that."

"This doesn't have to end like this," she said. "I told you to stay away from the internet. Why did you even say those things publicly? How many times I told you to stop acting impulsively?"

Sohee grimaced when she opened her mouth. It hurt like hell. "I was in private mode when I posted that shit. I don't know how it went public."

"It's that hacker, isn't it?"

Sohee's shoulder slumped. The nightmare was fucking terrible. She didn't have a peaceful night's sleep since that nightmare started bugging her. It felt as if she was always being watched.

"We should keep everything outside the phone," her mother suggested. "Isn't that the only way to hack us? Stop using the phone unless you have to order food."

It was easy to say. Sohee clenched her jaw but nodded anyway.

"Where is Minhyuk? Doesn't he come home earlier than this?" Seoyeon checked the time.

Sohee shrugged. "He isn't answering my calls. Might be screwing some bitch."

Seoyeon scowled. "And you let him?"

"It's not like he listens to me."

"He was so sweet to Jungkook and always listened to him." Seoyeon frowned.

Sohee scoffed. "He has no reason to listen to me, and I'm not Jungkook." She put the Coke cup on the table with more force than intended. "I'm gonna sleep. You take the couch. If he comes back, he is sleeping on the floor." She slammed the door with more force and turned around to see her bed, only to groan and utter another loud curse.

Glitters painted her once clean bed sheets and scattered them on the floor. How could she forget this sticky mess? Tears of frustration sprang free, and she slid to the floor, shoulders shaking.

"I hate you, June. And I hate you even more, Jungkook. I won't let this go," she screamed, wincing in pain and cursed some more. "I won't stop until I have ruined you. Even if I must go down, I'll go down happily as long as you're there with me."

A/N: I've been slowly updating images in between work. Next part contains videos which I have convert to gif and adjust size cos Wattpad doesn't accept anything above  3MB. It's giving me headache.

Wattpad only allows 20 images per chapter and a total of 200 chapters. So I have to wait until I have enough images to upload. Imagine one chapter having 20 images and the second only 7 images, but the scene is incomplete without both chapters. And I can't waste chapters by splitting it 15x15 bcos I'm struggling to complete it within 200 chapters lol. I'll have to start part 2 if I exceeded the chapter limit. Such a pain.

It's better to read on Twitter to avoid the wait.

Work is kicking ass and the project just started. I'm expecting it to run for at least 3 months. My schedule is usually booked at least one or two months in advance. I was in no position to take up this project but this is a repeat client and one of the biggest. They're the type that would never come back to you if you rejected the project once. So now I have to jump through hoops and holes to make it work. I'll survive but yeah you get the gist. The pay is decent so I gotta suck it up and get it done. It all comes down to time management. Just need to meet weekly deadlines.

Next update is available on Twitter - chimmyxkookies

Lemme show u some edits I made.
