784. [That night/early morning...]
785.
Jimin jumped out of the bed in an instant. Alarm bells rang louder in his head and he didn't care he was shirtless or that he was wearing only his sweatpants and or that he forgot his shoes.
Shana's words kept ringing in his head. Jungkook was deep asleep and didn't stir, unaware of the storm coming his way. Jimin cursed under his breath. He grabbed his phone and ran outside, grabbing the first hoodie discarded on the living room couch.
He grabbed his car keys, his thoughts racing ahead. Fuck! He all but ran toward Taehyung's apartment—the first person he could think of. His eyes were still adjusting to the lights and his wolf was already alert. It was furious. Their mate was in danger.
Taehyung lived two floors above them. He ran out of the elevator, sliding around the corner and almost crashed into his front door. He rang their door bell, suppressing the urge to knock it down. His hands trembled as he dialed Namjoon's number while waiting for Taehyung to open the door.
The door opened after a while, revealing a very sleepy Taehyung. "Jimin?"
"Emergency," Jimin growled. "Get your car keys. We have something to do. Right fucking now!"
"What the hell happened?" Taehyung opened the door all the way as he grabbed a jacket off the coat rack, still clad in his pajamas. His expression suddenly alarmed as his body moved automatically. Yeontan yawned from where he was sleeping on his bed in the living room. When he saw who it was, he went right back to sleep. "Is Jungkook alright?" he asked, slipping his feet into his sandals.
"He won't be if we don't get our asses out right now. That fucking bitch!" he growled.
"Taehyung?" A voice sounded from the inside and Yoongi came into view. "Jimin?"
Right then, Namjoon's voice filtered into his ears, "Jimin?"
He lifted a finger at Yoongi, asking to hold for a second. "One minute, hyung. Get the other two on the line for me. It's urgent. Also, I want you all out of the bed and in your cars ASAP." He then glanced at Yoongi. "I'll explain everything later. I need Taehyung with me. Can you stay with Jungkook until we get back? Don't let him watch any of the news channels."
All traces of sleep evaded Yoongi's face and he gave a curt nod. "Sure. Don't worry about him."
"Here." Taehyung threw a pair of slippers at his feet. "Let's go."
"Thanks, man." Jimin didn't even have time to thank him properly. He slipped his feet into the slippers and was already running toward the elevator with Taehyung right on his heels.
"They're here. What is it?" Namjoon asked.
"Jungkook's privacy has been compromised," he hissed into the line. "Photos and videos of him and his ex. Seventeen news channels received this shit in the mail. We have mere hours to track them down and confiscate them." He heard several curses on the other end. "Hyung, Check the group chat. I've sent you a list. We are all gonna cover the closest place to our current location."
"Bloody hell!" Taehyung cursed beside him and checked his phone. "I'm forwarding this to Jungkook's dad. We need all hands on the deck."
"You do that," Jimin agreed. His thoughts were swirling. Seventeen places. It was humanly impossible to get to all the places in such a short time. He clenched his jaw. There was one more person who could help. He barked at the places each of them had to cover and jumped into his car and grabbed the spare piece of Bluetooth earpiece. "Everyone stay on the call so we can keep each other updated. Also gimme a sec to make a call."
"Alright."
"Okay."
"Okay."
He put them on hold, dialing another number he thought he would never call again. The person on the other line answered after two rings.
"Hello?"
"My husband's privacy is compromised. Photos and videos from his past. Seventeen news channels are gonna air that shit if we don't act right away. Check your phone." He typed as he spoke. "Fuck this up and you will lose me forever."
"Wait. Jimin?"
"I'm going to each address in person. I want them to hand over whatever shit they have in their hands right now. Or I swear, dad, you won't like what I'd do to them."
"I'm on it."
Jimin was furious as he shifted the gear, maneuvering the car with one hand as he switched to the group line. "I'm heading to South district, Gangnam. This asshole is from the Song pack. I can't let that fucktard get shit on my omega. Collect everything and double check for anything else."
"Got it."

Jinwan was up at the ungodly hours of the morning, pacing his living room. He was up as soon as he received the call from Taehyung and his heart almost stopped looking at the texts. There was no time to waste.
He was watching the news worriedly, waiting on pins and needles. The situation only got worse. He received so many calls from his contacts in the media, inquiring the validity of the news they received. It was too early to have his phone ringing, but things weren't easy.
Some new channels were already running teasers about the incoming scandal. They were freaking teasing the public, waiting to air his son's dirty laundry. Jinwan was stunned at how rapidly things were escalating.
Honestly, Jungkook did nothing wrong. His poor son probably didn't even know such things existed and if he could he wanted to keep it that way.
He thought he destroyed every single photo and video on Minhyuk's phone. It was beyond his knowledge how any of this could exist. He made sure to comb through every single cloud drive he was signed into. Hell, he even beat Minhyuk up until he confessed that was all he had.
Da-yeon panted. "The news channels received an anonymous mail with photos and such. It's getting out of hand. Some are demanding money. I just agreed to whatever they asked for." He swallowed. His hands trembled. He handed him the phone. "Head alpha Park is on the line."
Jinwan unmuted the call. "Alpha Park," he greeted, pursing his lips and wondering what he wanted to speak about.
"Alpha Jeon," Mr. Park returned the greetings. "I'll cut to the chase," he began. "Jimin called me. I've stopped the news channels under my control from telecasting the bullshit. I've forwarded you a list of channels that received these anonymous mails. A few of them aren't on good terms with us. Thought you could handle them. I have sent my men to confiscate the evidence."
Relief flooded him. "Thank you so much. I owe you."
"No. We are family. Protecting our kids is what we must do. I'll be on the lookout and I'll call when I have more news." The line went dead.
Jinwan plopped down on the arm chair, handing the phone back to Da-Yeon. "Pay them immediately. Shut them up. This shouldn't come out, understand?"
"Yes, sir." Da-Yeon rushed outside.

Jimin glared at the alpha, trying his best to control his rage. He had to handle this carefully. This alpha held his mate's entire life in the palm of his hands and several things could go wrong if he acted impulsive.
"Why would I listen to any of what you got to say, Park Jimin?" The vice president of the news channel laughed. "I don't have anything that concerns the Park pack."
Tracking the alpha wasn't easy but he assumed he would be at home this hour and he was right. Song Byung-hoon was working from home. He was clad in his night robes, sipping his whiskey, eyeing him with judgmental eyes.
"Easy, Jimin," Namjoon whispered in his ear. "Song, Byung-hoon is a cunning bastard. He's someone who would go ahead and do shit just because someone tells him not to do it."
"You have exactly what concerns me. Jeon Jungkook. Song Byung-hoon, give me everything you received in that mail to me so we can put this behind us and move on."
Byung-hoon's face lit with interest. "The legendary Alpha Savage of the Park clan really does care for this Head Omega." He laughed. "Heard that one is in high demand since he stepped into public life. What is it this time, Park? Are you fucking him? Or is he stringing you along in his charade?" He perched his hip on the desk. "Interesting news we got here. It's so different from the persona he puts up for the public to see. I have already uploaded the files and drafted the email. All I have to do is to hit that send button and boom." He exaggerated with hand gestures and his hands hovered dangerously above the keyboard. "I wonder how the pack would react when they see this."
"Calm down," Jin spoke. "Try to reason with him and buy us some time. I got Shana to lock onto his computer."
Jimin clenched his jaw. His hyungs were right. This wasn't the time to lose his shit. He took a deep breath. "He's pregnant."
"Huh?" Byung-hoon blinked. "Come again."
"Jungkook is pregnant with my pup." Jimin's fists clenched by his side.
"Wow." Byung-hoo laughed. "You're faster than I expected. How did you even manage that?"
Jimin bit down the anger. "We have another pup, who is five going on six. What you're about to do is going to ruin the life of a loving father and a husband who was a victim. His ex is an asshole who is gonna go six feet under once I handle this mess. My omega has no idea this exists. You're risking not only his reputation, but everything we have carefully built so far. You're risking our unborn pup's life. It's too early and he isn't out of that zone yet. Don't do this. Please..."
Byung-hoon removed his hand from the keyboard, regarding him for a long moment. They stared at each other for a long moment before breaking eye contact. He let out an amused laugh. "Husband you said."
Jimin nodded tightly. "Yes."
The alpha pointed at him. "Pregnant and you already have a pup."
Song barked out laughter. "Really? You want me to believe that shit?"
Jimin unlocked his phone, turning the screen toward him to show the recent wallpaper. "Why do you think I left the Park pack and went off the grid?"
"You're doing good. Keep talking," Namjoon encouraged. "Shana is already in his system and is locating the files."
He waited for the alpha to connect the dots that really didn't exist. He just wanted to buy some damn fucking time.
"Damn." Byung-hoon hopped off the desk and began to pace. "So you're really married."
Jimin exhaled, putting his phone aside. "I'll step back from the challenge and I'll spare your nephews if that's what you want. But please...just this once. What would you do if it was your mate in his place?"
Byung-hoon growled but walked away from his desk. "I don't care what you do to my nephews. I don't share the same ideals with my brother and I still think he doesn't deserve to be on that seat. And I'm not a heartless asshole, everyone makes me to be." He huffed, planting his hands on hips. "The package is in that envelope and you can discard the email yourself. The files are on the desktop."
Relief flooded Jimin. "Thank you." He hurried to do it, trembling hands finishing the job as soon as possible.
"Thank fuck!" Jin hissed in his ear. "I thought you'd have to break his bones for it."
Namjoon chuckled. "Shana already deleted the files. Just pretend you're doing something and move on."
Jimin hummed, not wanting to say anything in front of the alpha. Just as he gathered everything and stood, Song called him. "Just so you know whatever this is between us, it's over and I wanna go back to whatever it was that we were. And I didn't watch any of that shit. Saw a few photos and read that letter. Knew it was scandal material."
The alpha inhaled deeper. Now, time for the next step. Song would think he was helping him but Jimin was only doing it so he could kill two birds with a stone. "Whatever it is, I owe you. You have my word, Song."
The other alpha waved his hand, grabbing a pack of cigarettes. "I have nothing to gain from airing this out. I can live without that extra TRP boost for a day." He popped a cigarette between his lips.
Jimin smiled. "In a couple of minutes, you're gonna receive an email with a video. Trust me, Song. You will want to take this chance. Because your channel is going to be the first to air this and you don't want to miss this."
"Oooh, he's sexy when he does that," Shane spoke, announcing her presence in the call. "That was platonic by the way."
When did she join the call?
Song's eyes widened. "What?"
"I always repay my debt and consider this a payback. Get ready for that promotion you were eying for three years." He patted his shoulder on his way out. "Watch your email."
"Why are we fucking up Boram again?" Taehyung asked.
"He ordered a hit on Jimin two days ago for fucking him up earlier. The asshole wants Jimin gone," Shana explained. "We tapped into his call and Jimin was just looking for a chance to bury him under. But this happened today. What's bigger do you need than this one to distract the media? His wife is a promising candidate of the ruling party. A scandal of this magnitude is about to end them. No one would even think of Jungkook when the ruling party's ass is on fire."
Jimin wasn't even out of his main door yet when he heard a loud, "Fucking hell!" from the office. That went breezy. Now they had a few more to go.
"Hobi here. I got the package and onto my next location. Jimin, your dad just updated us. His men confiscated stuff from three locations. I'm collecting them on my way."
"Okay, hyung. It's not over yet."
"When this is over, I'm fucking them up," Shana growled.
"I'll help," four voices chorused and Jimin smiled.

Anonymous news channel:
"Sir, there's something you should see."
"What?" the executive who was in charge of the morning breaking news segment looked up from the gold mine that was dirt on Head Omega Jeon.
The staff grinned. "This is much better than what you have in your hand right now."
He took the tab and hit play, his eyes widening with every frame. The dirt on Head Omega Jeon would destroy only his reputation, but this...this was going to rock the entire nation. "Fuck yes." He pumped his fist in the air. "Hold the other news. We are going live with this right now!"
Their TRP was going to skyrocket and they absolutely couldn't let anyone else steal this chance from their hands.
The staff beamed. "Yes, sir."

Jimin sat in his car, knuckles burning from the aftermath of the punch he threw. He wished that vile executive president from the Kang pack was good as dead. His only regret was that the bastard was still breathing when he left him bleeding on the floor.
The fucking freak had refused to hand over the mail, but also taunted him. Jimin had no other way. Oh, the satisfaction that fled him was indescribable. The pathetic alpha just gave him an outlet to take his anger out.
And the satisfaction doubled when he learned his senior was a member of the Park pack. If he knew what's better for him, he would keep his lips tightly shut. He stared at the plastic bag sat at the passenger seat. He counted the mail package at least thrice. The numbers were correct.
"That's the last of it all," his father had said earlier on the phone. "Our men managed to grab it all. We paid a few in exchange for their silence. No one would speak a word. I made sure of it. If they did, we will deal with it. Go to your mate now and Jimin?"
"Yes."
"You're a good mate and even a better father than I ever was. Hope you know that."
It was the longest sentence his father ever told him ever since they started talking again.
The alpha leaned on his steering wheel. The sun had risen by the time every one finished their tasks and came back. It was still early. Jungkook would be up soon and he had to be there before that. Maybe make breakfast and make him eat first.
Taehyung had gone up earlier, saying he needed a drink, and the past few hours had been the most stressful of his life. Jimin didn't think he was even this tensed or feared before. Even when Minjun was born, he was anxious but never this scared. He just had a blind confidence that he could do it.
Now that he was back, he took his time to play that video and watch it. Earlier, he had skipped most of it. It was apparent his mate wasn't even aware of the camera. His blood boiled with every frame. Jimin paused, taking note of every minute detail, cataloging it in his mind. He would need it when the time comes for Minhyuk to pay.
His hands trembled as he waited for the adrenaline rush and anger to subside. The past two days really tested his peace and everything else he thought he had it under control.
If he went up, he would have to tell Jungkook about this and he didn't know how to bring it up to him. For one, Jimin didn't think such a matter of importance should be hidden. It would only cause more harm. And secondly, Jungkook should be prepared just in case if there were any future attempts.
Jimin took several calming breaths before finally exiting the car with the plastic bag. He would have to hurry things along because if he waited any longer, he feared everything would get out of his control.
When he arrived home, the atmosphere was thick and heavy. His mate's distressed hormones soaked the entire room. The TV was on and Jungkook sat rooted in front of it.
"Baby?" Jimin frowned. "Why are you up early?"
Jungkook climbed to his feet, looking pale as a sheet and a lost look in his eyes. He clutched his phone tight in his grip. The scent of rotten berries wafted toward him. "W-Where were you? W-Why did you l-leave?"
"Honey bun?" He dropped the plastic bag in his hand and approached him with three fast strides. "What is it? Baby? Where is Yoongi hyung?"
"I told him to leave when Taehyungie hyung came," he answered absent-mindedly.
"Sweetheart, you're scaring me." An alarm rang loud in Jimin's head.
A few tears slid down his cheeks. "I-It's all over." Jungkook's lips wobbled, and his knees gave out, but Jimin caught him. Several alarming thoughts rang through his mind as they both slid to the floor and Jimin pulled him closer and his hand automatically slipped under Jungkook's t-shirt.
"What are you talking about? Talk to me. Alpha is here. Whatever it is, nothing is gonna happen when I'm here alright. Tell me. What is it?"
"I-It's Sohee." Jungkook let out a strangled sob and handed him the phone. "S-She had v-videos." His mate slumped over him. "She said i-it's gonna be on TV." He pointed at the TV weakly. "I-It's over."
"No." Jimin shook his head.
"O-Our pup," Jungkook sobbed. "Y-You n-need to g-get him f-far from all this. T-They're gonna c-come for me. Y-You need to—"
Jimin's loud growl cut him off. "Don't you fucking dare finish that sentence." He cupped the omega's face and forced him to meet his gaze. "Don't you fucking think for a second I'll leave over this."
"T-They're gonna see," Jungkook sniffled. "P-Papa deleted e-everything on his phone. I-I don't know how. I-I don't know w-when h-he even t-took them."
"No one will see anything!" Jimin hissed. "Look." He pointed at the bag. "Every single mail that bitch sent to the news channels is in there."
"W-What?" Jungkook just stared at him in disbelief.
"Honey bun, you're my life. How could you even think for a second that I'll let you suffer this alone? I left earlier because I learned they were going to drag you through the mud. Took me hours but there it is. I got it all. The only scandal going up there belongs to Mayor Song's husband Son Boram. These photos and videos Sohee has will never see the light of the day. I made sure of it."
It took a few seconds for Jungkook to process the information and another few to finally come around. It was then he noticed the blood on Jimin's hand.
"Y-You're hurt," he mumbled. Jungkook grabbed his hand, inspecting his knuckles.
"It's not my blood," Jimin assured. "I just had to knock some sense into someone's thick skull. Baby, you're safe."
Jungkook cried silently. "I-I'm sorry."
"Why are you sorry?" The alpha wiped his tears. "It's not your fault, baby. It was never your fault."
"D-Did you see that? Did you see any of that?"
Jimin nodded. "I made it through one video."
"Oh."
"Only so I could repay every fucking thing he did to you." He cupped his face again, pressing his forehead to him. "I swear I'll make him pay. When I get my hands on that bastard again, no one can save him. I'll make him wish for his death. He will regret ever doing that to you."
Jungkook only cried in response. "Why are they doing this to me? What did I ever do to them?"
Jimin held him, rubbing his back and releasing calming pheromones, but it had little effect on how enraged he was. He despised the tears in Jungkook's eyes. Just how much did these bastards have to put him through? What did he even do to deserve this?
"Because you were too good to be true," he whispered. "They could only dream of being like you."
"I hate them."
"I know."
Jungkook's cries grew louder. "I'll fucking end them."
"And I'll help. I'll help you to burn them all down to ashes until nothing remains." Something clicked in his mind. "How about we start by burning these, hmm? What do you say?"
Jungkook lifted his head, gazing at him before throwing his hands around his neck. He nodded furiously.
Ten minutes later, Jimin and Jungkook sat side by side at their balcony with a small camp fire in front of them. The bonfire pit burned with new intensity when Jungkook fed it another photo. One by one, they slowly burned every piece of evidence.
"Sohee still has the original," Jungkook said. "Who knows who all she sent it to? What do we do? What if they started posting it online?"
"We will handle it," Jimin promised and kissed his shoulder. "I won't let her get to you again. This is something I wasn't aware of. So I wasn't prepared. Not anymore."
"What are you gonna do?" Jungkook asked, and the alpha smirked.
"Just wait and watch."
A/N: Many were confused about the Anonymous. It's care of. That's the wolf our alpha left in coma. He was from the Kang pack.

Many were asking why Jimin made her a surrogate, instead of proving she was bad. The reason is simple:
A surrogate mother does not have any rights over the surrogate child. She is only considered a carrier of the child, and not a parent. In fact, when she enters into a contract for the surrogacy with the commissioning parents, she has to specifically give up all her rights to the child.
Why would he go through all the pain of proving her shit when he could simply get rid of her this way? If he did that, as a biological mother, she would still be able to turn the tables around and claim her rights as the mother. However, like this, he got rid of her basic rights as a mother.
