"It was nice to catch up, Jungkook. Don't be a stranger."

Iseul patted the new Head Omega's hand, admiring his brilliant smile and twinkling eyes that were the exact replica of her best friend. Jungkook was just like her. Even his eating habits matched that of his mother's.

"Sure, auntie."

"How are you leaving? Are you taking taxi again?" she asked. It was around nine p.m. and the weather was slightly chilly.

"My alpha is here to pick me," Jungkook replied.

"Ah, Park Jimin."

"Yeah, he's here." Jungkook pointed at a car ten feet away from them.

Iseul was curious to meet her notorious nephew after all these years. She was Jihyun's youngest sister and knew all about her brother's eldest son. Never in a million years she saw this coming. To say, she was extremely surprised when the news of their wedding came to her table.

Honestly, Jimin was a great guy as opposed to what others had to say. Majority of the people disliked honesty and Jimin was just brutally honest. He didn't sugar coat things or sang praises in front of someone's face just for the sake of it. That made him the bad guy.

As they waited, she saw Jimin exiting the car with a pup in tow. The alpha approached them with a smile on his face. The pup ran to Jungkook first, hugging his knees.

"Dada! Minmin was so good today," he announced.

"Really?" Jungkook knelt to kiss and scent his pup.

"Hello, auntie," Jimin greeted her first. "How have you been?" His voice and smile was pleasant as ever.

The family's combined scent swirled around her. He slanted a gaze at his mate and pup embracing each other. The look that crossed his face right then was something Iseul never thought Park Jimin was capable of. Well, she would never write soft and Park Jimin in the same sentence if it was for her.

"Am good, Jimin-ah. Nice to meet you after so long. You have a beautiful family," she said.

Jimin nodded. "Thank you." Jungkook stood and Jimin's hand immediately went to support him, eyes alert. "Did you eat well, sweetheart?" His voice gentler than she ever heard it. Too soft as if he was afraid it would hurt Jungkook if he raised it anymore.

"Yes. The food was so good." Jungkook rubbed his stomach in contentment. "What about you and Minmin?"

"I was going to cook but Yoongi hyung invited us over for dinner."

Jungkook hummed and turned to face her. "Thanks for dinner, auntie. Let's meet again some other day."

"Sure. I'll let you know when I'm coming back to Seoul."

He nodded and she glanced at Jimin. "Take care, Jimin."

Jimin inclined his head just as her car arrived. The alpha stepped forward to open the door for her, closing it carefully once she was inside. As their car drove off, she saw him guiding the omega to their car with a protective hand on his lower back.

The rumors were true. Jimin really did change. So this must be the reason her brother was sulking these days. Her brother always had a bad temper. She remembered warning him to reconsider his decision when he removed Jimin from his family tree. He was too hot headed to listen.

In a way, Jimin reminded her of Jihyun. He'd inherited his father's hot headed temper and mother's stubbornness. Jihyun was the same during his younger days, but her brother was too short sighted and didn't stop to think for once how this would affect their future.

It would be interesting to see how they would mend their relationship. If they would ever try that was. She reclined comfortably in the seat. What an interesting turn of events. Her fingers tapped gently on her thigh as a smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
