"Don't kill her yet" Said a man

"What? And Why?" Asked the woman

"You're more dumb than I thought you'll be... Woman." He said annoyed

"How Dare you...??" She asked angrily

"What else do you expect? Are you honestly thinking that after getting her back after two long years, Arnav Singh Raizada is going to leave Khushi unattended even for a minute?" He snapped

"What are you even saying? Say it clearly" She said

"Her ward is under the strictest surveillance of the CCTV, Aman Mathur is constantly keeping a watch on every activity that happens in or even around her room, Arnav has not left her side even for a millisecond... You honestly think it's going to be that easy? Just sending a doctor to poison her will do the trick You think?" He asked

"What do YOU suggest?" She asked impatiently

"Leave her be." He said flatly

"And get screwed? What a plan." She said

"We're not getting screwed, Not yet at least, Not till you decide to do something stupid" He said

"I'm trying to secure myself." She argued

"But all you're succeeding in doing is inviting more trouble. You think the doctor you're so cleverly using to help kill her will remain loyal to you once Arnav Singh Raizada gets hold of him?? Even if we use his wife as a bait. Do you honestly think about anything else when Khushi is at stake?" He asked

"Okay.. But what if she exposes us?" She asked

"She won't" He stated

"And how are you so sure?" She enquired keenly

"First. She's scared as hell... It's just been 28 hours since she got away. Second her mental condition isn't stable, It cannot be... Those drugs weren't for nothing. They did what they were meant to do. She's blank about these two years, She's not in a condition to tell anyone anything about us. We're safe." He said

"But I've already sent the doctor" She said

"Oh Call him back then, Tell him he's no longer required to do anything." He said

"What if he in turn tells Arnav something about us?" She asked

"That... You should've thought before planning something so immature. But don't worry I got your cover there, Tell him his wife is still under watch and any wrong move will cost him her life. And we no longer have the fear of ASR looming above our lives, Nothing will make him disobey us now." He said

Arnav got the message and made a dash for Khushi's room. Oh No, He'll never let her go away again... Not this time. Even if the doctor meant no harm and was there just for the sake of it. He didn't want to leave her alone, Not when she was still vulnerable and scared.

He entered the room only to find a man in his early twenties caressing the hair of Khushi softly

Arnav cleared his throat. Gaurav jumped in fright and turned around in one swift motion

"Arnav Jiju... You scared me" Gaurav sighed

"Gaurav..." Arnav sighed relieved, Gaurav was the one person he trusted in everything related to Khushi. He was one of the very few real family people Arshi had outside Shantivan and in Ashiyana. Gaurav was like a best friend to Khushi and for Gaurav, Khushi was his mentor, his guide. He considered her to be a big sister

"You gave me a fright you know, When Aman texted me I felt like I was going to lose her again" Arnav confessed

"How do I tell you that your instinct was almost right, If I hadn't been told not to do it, I would've hurt my Khushi Di, Pretty badly. Though I could never bring myself to kill her. Only if They didn't have her under watch, Only if I was able to tell you everything. But I can't lose her... And I don't even know who the person behind all this is... Or I would surely have given you a little hint" Gaurav thought sadly

"Sorry... But that guy outside, Aman you say his name is, He's a little intimidating, I got a little scared" Gaurav confessed

Arnav chuckled "We are all very protective of this girl You know" Arnav said pointing to Khushi

"Woh hain hi aisi... (She's like that only) I don't blame you, And that too after getting her back after two years." Gaurav said

Arnav smiled

"I just heard she's here... So I took the responsibility of visiting her as per the doctor's schedule. I really just wanted to see her once" Gaurav lied (Mostly)

"So she's Okay Right?" Arnav asked

"Uh-Yeah.. She's fine. She was about to wake up. But I caressed her to sleep again. Okay Take care of her" Gaurav said

"I will" Arnav said

"I shall leave you two love birds alone then... Goodnight Jeejzz" Gaurav said and walked away leaving a smiling Arnav in the room

"I love you so much Khushi... Don't ever go away again... I'll die" Arnav said choking on his words

He kissed her forehead, And as if on cue... Her face lit up with a small smile

Arnav couldn't help but peck her yet again.
