Chapter 1: The nerd makes a good first impression...

Lucy's POV.

Okay, breath in and out.

In.

Out.

In.

Out.

Everything will be okay.

Yeah right.

I could hear conversations that were directed towards me.

"Look at that nerd"

"Wonder if she's rich"

"Must be another blonde bimbo"

Okay that last one really pissed me off. Not all blondes are dumb.

I was making my way to the secretary's office, and much to my dismay, everyone was staring at me. I guess they don't get many new students, or blondes. Que hair flip.

Any who.

I finally found the office of Miss Mirajane. As I walked in, I was met with a very pretty woman, sitting behind the old mahogany desk. My guess, Miss Mirajane.

"Good morning Miss, my name is Lucy the new student." I said trying to grab her attention.

"Good morning hun, just call me Mira. Here's your schedule and map of the school. A student will be here to show you around."

At that last sentence, I panicked.

"Um, don't worry about sending a student. I want to explore on my own since I'm early." I lied.

I technically did want to explore on my own, the school was freaking big! I just wanted to take my time in enjoying my last minutes of peace on my own before possibly destroying my reputation on the first day.

My schedule went like this:

Math

Science

English

Art

Recess

History

P.E.

Culinary class

Study hall

I started by checking out the gym, I wanted to see their pool.

When I finally found the gym I was met with a very big pool. After deciding to come back again after school, I made my way back to the entrance. Just before walking out, I remembered that FT has a swim team.

I went to the nearest notice board, and found an application to join.

I was so excited. At least tryouts were on Friday. I still had time to prepare.

I decided my next stop would be the culinary class

Damn this school is big!

I found the culinary class after wondering off in the wrong direction too many times.

After inspecting the notice boards there I figured out that they do have a cooking club.

I signed up.

The tryouts were on Friday as well, but they wouldn't clash with swim tryouts.

Just as I was making my way to the art room, the bell rang.

Just freaking great.

My schedual said I had math.

Even greater. Who puts math as a first period on a Monday?!

Any who I better get to class.

When I finally got to math, the warning bell had rung and i was thankful to find a seat next to the window on the back of the class.

"Good morning seniors, as most of you may probably know me, I am Miss Evergreen. This year is very important as you are all seniors, now we have a new student." said Miss Evergreen as she motioned for me to stand up.

"Please say your name and tell us about yourself."
By now most of the class was looking at me. Some bimbo's were snickering, jocks and other boys looking at me trying to probably find my curves, but one student caught my eye, she was genuinely smiling at me.

She had light blue hair, and looked pretty short. You could barely see her because of all the books on her desk. She had cute red glasses, and was sitting next to me. She actually made me feel a bit better about myself.

Note to self: befriend this nice person.

"Hi, my name is Lucy, um.... I just moved here. I love to read and draw.... Uh." I didn't know what else to say so I gave Miss Evergreen a pleading look. Thankfully she caught along.

"Okay thank you Lucy."

Wow. Pretty good for my track record if I do say so myself. Not that there's much on first days to compare to, but you get it.
