With Mai and Kyo...

The two teens were walking around the street, "So, what did you want to talk about?" Mai asked. "Well you see..."

Normal Pov

Mai just asked Kyo if they can walk to pick up food at the same time, which he said yes. "So, I was wondering about Aki..." He said, with a trailed off expression. "Eh...!" Mai said, looking up at him.

1 hour later...

Mai came back and brought three obento(It's like a boxed lunch). Aki came over with an angry expression. "What took you so long?!" Aki said, having an expression of, "This better be good." Mai gulped. "It was really crowded." Mai said. "Anyway, I brought your favorite." Mai said. Aki quickly grabbed the food, and started to eat. "I'm taking a lunch break now." She said, going to the employee's room. Mai sweat dropped, but smiled. "Fine..." Mai said back, then put on her uniform. She faced Hiroto, "Did I miss anything?" Mai asked. Hiroto nodded no.

With Aki...

"Man, I had to cover for her, just like what Shiho did." Aki said, as she took a full bite to her sushi. She sighed. She looked down at her food, she had a blank expression, Than out of know where a orange headed guy popped into her mind. 'Before Mai left, I was sure I saw Kyo.' She thought, quickly taking another drink. She threw away her container after 15 minutes, and quickly went back to work with Mai.

After work...

"Yes, free sweets!" Aki and Mai said. As they start to collect the sweets left for them to eat. Aki said goodbye to Hiroto and Mai, it was already dark out, Aki looked at her phone, it was 9:35 P.M. She quickly closed her phone and put it back into her jeans pocket, and started to head back to the house. As she walked for awhile, she soon came to a halt, seeing in front of her the same orange headed boy she thought she saw earlier today, and has been ignoring for a while. "Kyo, why are you here?" She asked. He was on the railing, sitting down, he was wearing his usual clothes, a black t-shirt with baggy pants. He pushed himself off the railing, and stood in front of Aki. "Why do you care? I came to pick you up, so let's just go." He said. Starting to walk away toward the house. Aki didn't complain, and started to catch up to Kyo, until she was right next to him.

The walk was silent, Aki kept looking at him with the corner of her eyes, as they were closer to the house, Kyo stopped in his tracks. Making Aki stop as well. "Why did you stop?" Aki said. He looked up at her, "Follow me." He said plainly, looking back down, starting to walk to a different direction. "Wait, where are we going?" Aki said, catching up to Kyo again. "Just shut up, and follow!" He screamed. Aki was angry. "What is your problem?!" Aki screamed. Making Kyo stop, but not looking back at her. "You come to pick me up, and next your taking me to some place I don't know." She said.

"Turn right here." He pointed. She looked confused, but did not have the mood, so she did what he said. Before she turned the corner, something covered her eyes, she quickly touched it, and it was a pair of hands. "What are you doing?" Aki questioned. "Just shut, and walk." He said. "Your not going to do anything to are you?" She said. Kyo was blushing at her statement, he was so lucky that he covered her eyes. "N- no!" He said. "Anyway, were here." He said. He slowly uncovered her eyes. She also closed her eyes, and when she opened them...

*BANG* *BANG* "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Her eyes widen, she saw colorful streamers fly around her, as they glimmer with the help of the fountain lights, that was glowing all different colors. Little lanterns were streamed from tree to tree. At the picnic table, their was a set up, with things you would find at a party. They were at a special park, where it had a normal playground, but it was special because it had merry-go-round.

Her eyes started to water, as she saw her two best friends, Tohru, Shigure, and Yuki smiling at her. Soon turning her head toward Kyo, who smiled at her. "OMG, I can't believe it. I even forgot today was my birthday." Aki said, as little drops of water started to fall down her face, as she was smiling. She turned her head toward the Soumas and Tohru. "How did you guys know?" She asked. "Mai told us, it was actually her idea to do this for you." Tohru said. Aki looked at Mai, and hugged her. "Thank you so much." Aki said. Mai smiled and hugged back. "Hey, at least I got us the place." Shiho said. They laughed. "Thank you to Shiho." Aki said, than, hugged her other best friend. She hugged Tohru, and than, she topped and looked at the Soumas.

"Please don't hug us, please don't hug us." They thought. But, Aki didn't, instead, she held out her hand to them. They stared at her in confusion. "Thank you very much, also, I'm sorry for ignoring you guys for the past days. But, I guess, we can be friends?" She said looking away. They stared at her, and smiled. "Deal!" Then they all shook hands.

The party went well, the first thing Aki did was go toward the merry-go-round, and picked out her favorite think to ride, which it was a horse. Mai and Shiho joined her, so did Tohru. The boys smiled at watch. They played some games, and all, it was fun.

They went over to the table, and started to sing happy birthday, as Aki blew out her candles. Today, she was officially turning 16 years old. "Hey, this cake...?" Aki questioned, it was the same cake that you could buy at the bakery, but it was different. Mai smiled. "Yuki bought it." She said. Aki looked at Yuki, who had a slight blush on his face. When she tasted the cake, it was vanilla, "This is my favorite, how did you know Yuki?" Aki said, taking another bite out of the cake. He blushed, when he made eye contact with Aki. "Mai helped me out." He said, than smiled. Than Aki realized it, 'That's why I saw Yuki today at the bakery, talking to Mai.' Aki thought.

"Okay, time for presents!" Shiho said. Shiho has given Aki a stuffed animal cat, which was orange. (Lol kyo) Mai has given Autumn a anklet, which had a horse shoe with it, Shigure, a pervert as he is, tried to give her a maid outfit that was given from Ayame, though Yuki and Kyo smacked him, and instead gave her one of those clear, glass or plastic(Not sure, I don't even know the name) charms, inside it was Sakura petals, and water, than it had a white string attached to it. Tohru gave her a hand made blanket, Yuki went up to her and said happy birthday, she saw a black case, and she opened it. Inside was a charm bracelet, which had different charms on it, a heart with a little heart inside, a clover, a seashell, and a horse shoe, a twinkle diamond, etc. Kyo was going to go next, until, "HEY LOOK, SOMEONE BROUGHT FIRE WORK SPRINKLERS!" Shiho said. Than everyone paid their attention the fire works.

As everyone was playing, Kyo was in the corner kind of depressed, "Stupid Cat." Yuki said. "WHAT YOU SAY, YOU DAMN RA-!" Than he was suddenly flicked on his fore-head. Yuki pointed at Aki, who was holding her firework, "You stupid cat, why haven't you given your gift." Before Kyo could say anything, he left. Kyo just sighed, and looked toward Aki.

With Aki...

"Man, this has been the best birthday ever." She said. "Why do I feel I forgot something?" She said. Thinking. "Hey!" She suddenly fell on her butt, shocked at the sudden shout. She cranked her head toward the voice, looking up, to see Kyo looking down at her. As the two looked at each, threw Kyo's red eyes and Aki's grey-blue eyes. "You jerk, don't do that out of a sudden!" Aki screamed. Quickly standing up, looking as if she was ready for a fight. "What did I- *Sigh* never mind. Anyway here!" He said, holding a case in from of her. She looked at it, "I don't have all night." He said hissing slightly. "Well, rude much." Aki said mumbling, while opening the case. Her eyes widen,...

It was a Key necklace, it looked big enough to actually open one of those diary locks. It was silver, and it had a heart at the end, inside the heart, was a red gem. "Aka(red)." She said. "It's your birth stone color." Kyo said. She turned toward him, he was looking away. Facing the others. "Thank you so much, I always wanted one!" Aki said. She was going to put it on, but she struggled. That she felt warm hands take over. She slightly look back, seeing Kyo helping her. "Thanks." Aki mumbled, with a little blush on her face. Kyo had a blush face to.

After he put it her, Aki held it in her hand, and turned toward Kyo. "Thanks." Aki said. "Kyo, you aren't doing anything to Aki are you~" He said. Than Kyo tensed up. "NO!" Aki and Kyo said at the same time, and looked at each other.

"Ooh, Aki, could it be..." Shiho said snickering, and Mai gave a suspicious look. "You dorks." Aki said toward the two best friends, and started to chase them. The rest just smiled.
