Ian's Pov

"Hey Adam?" I said as I knocked on Adam's door. "Go away Ian. I wanna be alone." Adam said. He sounded somewhat muffled. He must have his head in the pillow crying. "Adam." I started to open the door but it was locked. "Adam! Open this door!" I yelled. I heard a click and I opened the door. His back was to me and his glasses were on his bedside table. I've never seen him without his glasses on before. I thought. But he went over and put them on. He turned to me and I saw tear streaks running down his cheeks. "Adam? Are you okay?" I asked. "No..." Adam said. "Why are you not okay?" I asked. "cause" He said. "C'mon give me more than one syllable. Why are you so upset?" "Well, if you haven't noticed, my two best friends have been kidnapped and they might as well be dead." He said with aggravation in his voice. "Look Adam, I know it's hard for you but I understand perfectly how you fe-" "NO YOU DON'T!! WHEN HAVE YOU EVER LOST SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU?!?! YOU HAVEN'T!" He screamed. "YES I HAVE! WHEN I WAS 6! MY WHOLE FAMILY DIED! They all died to Herobrine. I had escaped but they didn't. That was when I had the derpiness put inside me." I said " Oh...." Adam said, speechless. "Look Adam. We just need to focus on the task at hand. And that's finding a way to get them back." I said with gentleness in my voice. "Okay. I'm gonna get some sleep. I didn't get very much sleep last night." Adam said. "Okay. See you later." I said as I walked out of Adam's room.

Sorry about the short chapeters. I have it prewritten and when I change the story on here its hard for it to continue smoothly onto the next chapter so I have to come up with a way to end the story smoothly and start the next one smoothly too. I'm still open for ideas for 100 reads. I want to know if you think the chapters are too short. It'll help me a lot if I know this. I gtg now. My mom is making me run 3 miles cause I am training for a 10k in February. I'm running the Disney 10k. I don't remember the name for it. Anyways....
