"How do you know?", asked Arjun being confused or I must say a bit jealous as he didn't know this information about his best friend before his sister.

"Because that girl is me", said Ragini not looking at Sanskar shocking everyone in the room.

As everyone was gaping at her, she took Sanskar aside and as she was about to speak, he shouted.

"Are you mad Ragini?"

"Shh Sanskar, listen to me", Ragini tried to calm him down. "I am doing this to help you", hearing which Sanskar looked at her waiting for her explanation.

"See you have only two options now Sanskar. Take my help and we will act like lovers until your only love agrees to marry you or go and marry the girl your father saw for you", said Ragini looking intently at Sanskar.

"And what's your gain in it?", asked Sanskar suspiciously.

"Come on Sanskar, you are my friend...ithna tho karisaktha hu thumare liye...moreover, you are the only key for my freedom from my brother, even if it's only for few days I don't leave the chance you see", said Ragini sounding as casual as possible.

As he was all lost in thoughts, Arjun comes and hugs him tightly saying that "I am so happy Sanskar. I can't find a better husband than you for my sister. Now, I am so relaxed".

Hearing which Sanskar just gave a half-smile and all the three went inside the house where Sanskar's dad was speaking on the phone.
"Sorry, Mr. Bose, we are not coming to see your daughter. My sincere apologies for informing you at the last moment. My son has just confessed his love for a girl and we liked her a lot...I know it's our fault but please try to understand", this is all that the housemates could hear and through the faces, Sanskar could say that they are happy with this news. 

"Ragini, I am glad that you would be my daughter in law. I always wanted a girl like you as my daughter", said Sanskar's mother Sujatha kissing on Ragini's forehead.

"True, a beautiful doctor would be the right one to take up my family name", said Sanskar's father Ram caressing her forehead and he continued turning towards Sanskar "This is the first good thing you did after you came into this world", for which Sanskar decided to be silent.

"Arjun, do talk with Pandit ji and ask him if there is any good date this week so that we could complete engagement", said Ram getting busy on his phone.

Before Arjun could reply Sanskar tried to protest "What..." and was interrupted by his dad "I don't want to hear anything from you Sanskar. If you have told us about Ragini before itself, I wouldn't have to hear so much from Mr. Bose, but anyways, it is my mistake to expect anything from you".

"Uncle, leave it to me now...I will take care of everything", Arjun tried to lighten the atmosphere side-hugging Sanskar for which Sankar gave a tight smile before leaving the place.

On the other side in Swara's room

"How should I tell dad that I am not interested in this match? Swara, you have to do something to stop this...you can't marry some random guy. God please give me the courage", holding her hands in the form of namaste she came out into the hall to talk to her dad but looking at the atmosphere and his parent's stern face, she asked, "Is everything alright mom?"

Before her mom answered, her father said "Don't worry Shona, I will get you a better man than that Maheshwari. How dare are they to reject my daughter?", he shouted pacing to and fro in the hall. He was speaking continuously but nothing registered as Swara was so happy and was lost in her own thoughts.

"Thank you, Bhagawan Ji, without any delay I should confess my feelings to him", thinking about Sanskar she went into her room blushing.  

The next morning, Ragini and Sanskar were waiting for Swara near the studio. As she came out Sanskar decided to go and talk to her but Ragini stopped him.

"Sanskar, she seems to be a shy type of girl. She might get scared if you go and propose her directly. First, let me be-friend her and slowly I will introduce you", said Ragini for which Sanskar agreed.

Ragini approached Swara and greeted her "Hi Swara". 

Hearing her name she turned back and smiled giving a confused look "Hi...sorry I couldn't recognize you", said Swara.

"Budhu, you don't know me because we are meeting for the first time, I am Ragini, his friend", said Ragini pointing towards Sanskar.

"Oh", exclaimed Swara immediately looking down but her cheeks gave away as they turned red feeling his intense gaze.

"Acha, so the fire is equally lit on both the sides", murmured Ragini making sure that Swara doesn't hear.  

"Will you be my friend?", asked Ragini forwarding her hand. Giving Sanskar one last look Swara gave in for a handshake. After speaking for some time, Swara's dad arrived and Swara introduced Ragini as her friend and she left while Ragini joined Sanskar.

"What did you speak? what did she say?", asked Sanskar eagerly.

"Relax my boy, we just had a formal talk today. I told her that you are my friend", started Ragini interrupted by Sanskar.

"What do you think? Does she like me?", asked Sanskar with anguish clear in his eyes.

"It seems that she likes you too. Give me some time Sanskar", replied Ragini.

"Hmm", is all that Sanskar could manage. Like this Ragini met Swara for the next two days. By now, Swara and Ragini seemed to become very close because Swara seemed very comfortable with her. At the same time, Arjun and Sanskar's parents were making all the preparations for their engagement in spite of Sanskar trying hard to postpone it. 

The next day, Ragini and Swara were sitting in a park speaking while Sanskar gaining the courage approached them. Swara didn't see him coming towards them confessed her feelings to Ragini "I...I love Arjun, Ragini. Will you help me in this please?" hearing which Sanskar stumbled but went from there before Swara could see him. Ragini after assuring Swara that she is with her excused herself and went behind Sanskar.
