1. Sanskar Maheshwari: son of Ram Prasad Maheshwari, one of the topmost businessmen who believe that money gives power and respect in society. He wants his son to take his business forward but is always disappointed and furious as Sanskar never obeys him. Sanskar wants to become an actor and left his house as his dad didn't approve of it and now is staying in Mumbai trying his hand on modeling.

2. Swara Bose: a timid girl who is hardly allowed to go out alone, is currently pursuing masters in music. Her parents are very orthodox and extra possessive about their only daughter making her over-dependent on them both mentally and financially.

3. Ragini Gadodia: very friendly and energetic girl who is up to date with the current fashion trends. Her profession and personality are poles apart as she looks like an actress but is actually a junior doctor. She seeks too much of freedom and loves partying.

4. Arjun Gadodia: brother of Ragini Gadodia and best friend of Sanskar Maheshwari. He is the only one who believes in Sanskar's talent and is always with his friend as a support system. He loves his sister a way too much and is worried about her being an extrovert.  

The remaining characters are introduced as per the requirement as the story progresses.

Prologue:

"Excuse me Ragini, can I talk to you for a moment?", asked a boy to the girl who was walking to the entrance of the hospital.

"Yes", turned Ragini and the boy stuttered looking at one of the beautiful creations of God.

"Actually...I...I have been following you for three months. I think I am in love...", he got a punch on his face before he completed the sentence.

"Arjun", shouted Ragini "I can take care of myself. You don't need to interfere in every small thing of my life".

"Ya, I can see that clearly", snapped back Arjun with sarcasm evident in his voice.

"This is quite common. Every girl would face such situations at some or the other point in her life and I don't think that boy is of any harm. He seems cute and innocent", replied Ragini looking at the retreating figure.

"No girl goes missing from the house every second day and no brother comes searching for his sister every single day", shouted Arjun and anyone could understand the concern of a brother who has no one except his little sister but Ragini has made up her mind long back that she wouldn't listen to him no matter what as she failed to see the care hidden behind his arrogance.

"Who asked you to come after me?", before she continued Arjun gets a call and as he answered, Ragini made her way to the hospital.

"Hello Sanskar, I will be there in fifteen minutes", said Arjun before disconnecting the call and he shouted "Ragu call me whenever you need. And do come home atleast today, Sanskar has come to Mumbai and he is going to stay with us for a while".

Without giving any reply, Ragini went inside while Arjun left to the airport in his car, where his best friend is waiting for him.
