A glossary of common Albian street slang, for the use of parents and teachers
Bedswerver: a promiscuous or unfaithful person
Brutal: extremely, to excess. Also used in the traditional sense to denote violence
Chang: the street name of an illegal intoxicant produced by drying the psychedelic mushroom, Inonotus Obliquus, then ingesting in powder form, usually via smoking.
Crank: bad, also used as a profanity
Crude: good, a term of approval
Dag: excrement, used as a profanity
Dagcrank: a compound of dag and crank, used as a personal insult
Hiss: tell authority, grass, snitch.
Kilter: typical, as expected, normal
Kin: friends, gang members
Licit: legitimately, the truth
Nest: to stay somewhere, make oneself at home, often to sleep.
Numen: God or deity, used as a profane exclamation
Nyaff: a stupid, irritating or insignificant person
Off Kilter: strange, weird, bizarre
Off spec: wrong, incorrect
On spec: perfect, just right
Peerless: very, extremely, beyond comparison
Pitched: fun, humorous
Rando: denoting a person; random.
Rub up: have sex, initiate sexual activity
Savage: uncontrollable, to extremes
Sharp: cool, of high-status
Skit: coitus or sex, used as a profanity
Sleek: good-looking, attractive, applies to either gender
Sober: unstylish, unfashionable, plain.
Tang: desire, a physical feeling of sexual attraction
Tilted: intoxicated by drugs
Zen: a state of relaxed calm
