The next few days dragged for Alice. she found herself longing for Damon to acknowledge her once again, but Katherine made sure that Alice kept her distance from him just in case she tried anything. One thing Katherine did make sure of was that Alice saw and knew what she was doing to Damon and his feelings which made Alice hurt more. Alice stayed at the wrecked house where she was turned in fear of harming her parents and scared of her mum's judgement. she stayed in a dark room for most of the day and lighty cried. 

Her magic was still there, and she continuously practised the few spells she had previously learnt, in particular the one she now learnt to be for hurting vampires. she had hoped that she could become strong enough to take on Katherine, but the compulsive words that she spoke prevented Alice from doing the spell on her, and she tried multiple times to make sure, but it was no use. Alice could not harm Katherine.

Days ended slowly for Alice, but night always came. She picked up her body and with dark eyes walked out into the streets that she called her home. she found herself walking in the direction of the Salvatores house and let out a small smile as she remembered the times she couldn't get back with the Salvatore's. The small smile quickly left her face and she looked around expectantly. Loud shouting was heard from the house in front of her and Stefan was seen running from the doors yelling for the sheriff.

within minutes there was shouting and pathways were hoarded with men and lit flames. Alice saw two men drag out a girl from the Salvatore house and as she looked closer she noticed it was Katherine. She hid herself slightly to prevent Katherine from seeing her and she turned to run down the path to get away.

Alice hid herself as much as possible as she noticed people being put into cadges with mouth guards. Vampires.
She realised what was going on and she quickly turned to run to her mother to get help. She could hear the church bells in the distance and she picked up her pace to avoid being caught.

Damon and Stefan arguing voices were heard from behind trees and Alice stepped out in front of them.
"Damon, Stefan" Alice spoke out shyly
Both their heads turned to Alice and while Stefan faced her with worry, Damon looked at her with disbelief and continued to speak to Stefan

"We need to get her out of there they will kill her and you know it" Damon huffed
Stefan looked to Damon and back to Alice in panic

"Are you speaking about Katherine?" Alice questioned

"Stay out of it Alice" Damon urged

Alice was unsure of what to say but she knew she had to try to protect him even if he didn't love her anymore

"I know she's a vampire, I know you both know she's a vampire" she paused not mentioning about herself "but you need to get out of here, Katherine doesn't care about you, neither of you, she never has, she just wants you for herself she's selfish." She paused "please don't help her" Alice secretly pleaded.

"Stay out of this" Damon snapped "how would you know? You haven't even seen what's happened these last few days and now your insisting for us to leave her and let her die" he spoke in disbelief

"That's not what I..." Alice began

"It's exactly what you meant, just admit it your a jealous and ignorant girl who is just sad that me and Stefan found someone who we will risk our lives for to love and you are here lonely with no one to care for you" he spat out

Small tears formed in the corners of Alices eyes. She knew his words were lies that she had compelled him to say but she couldn't do anything to stop it. Katherine compelled her to not compell either Salvatore brothers. Stefan looked to Alice with a slight sadness at his old brothers words to the girl he appeared to love. Alice looked to the ground.

"You know what! Go no one here wants you and I don't ever want to see you again" Damon glared

"If that's what you want" Alice mumbled as she began to sprint off in the distance to her house. She heard gunshots from behind her but she continued to run.

As she got to her home she banged on the door.
"Mother please, open the door I need help, I've ruined everything"
After a few loud knocks the door opened and revealed Alices mother with a blank face. 
"Mother you need to help me, a women changed me and made me make Damon hate me, you need to help me, show me how to get rid of her" she pleaded

Her mother looked at her with a blank look and walked into a room
"Mother?" Alice spoke in confusion.
She followed her mother into the room and her eyes dropped at the imagine of her father being dropped to the ground with blood dripping from his neck. Alice fell to the ground near her father.

"Now, what do we have here" she heard the familiar female voice spit

"Katherine?" Alice crawled back slightly "bu-but how?"

"How doesn't matter, what matters is the first thing you tried to do was to stop Damon and to then come and stop me with your mothers help!" She spoke with a fake shock, "I'm offended really, I thought I could trust you better, obviously not so I killed your father" she spoke stepping over Alices fathers lifeless body closer to Alice.  Alices sobs become louder and she backed away. 

"Now, what to do with you?" She smirked "consider this a warning, there are hunters out there you need to run, but just remember. You are mine. You will never try to hurt me again" she compelled Alice

Alice nodded fast and tried to stand up but Katherine blocked her path "don't try to run away from me Alice I'll know exactly where you are"

"I'm not going anywhere without my mother" Alice cried

"How sweet, even after I kill your father and you lost the man you love you think you can save your mother and make demands from me" she stepped closer to you. "Tough luck, leave" she rushed to Alices mother and bit into her neck which caused her to whimper. Alice cried louder but saw her mums lips whispering "run".

Alice swiftly wiped her eyes and ran to her kitchen where a pile of grimoires and picked as many as she could up chucking them into a small satchel that belonged to her father. Lifting the heavy bag she ran out of her house in vampire speed and tried to get out as fast as possible. As she ran she heard the Salvatore father speaking
"They got shot!" He spoke with slight anger "we are going to have to hide this, bury them with their mother"

Alice felt a lump in her throat. The Salvatore brothers she grew up with were dead. The brother she loved was dead.

Wooop wooooppp finally an update!!!! I'm Trying to update a lot more now while I'm at home and I'm rewatching TVD so I got loads of inspo!!
