(Y/N) became deathly pale and went as rigged as the many block of stones making up the house she resided in, her senses went into hyper drive and all of her stress caused her heart to rapidly pump adrenaline into her at a pace she never felt before, her usually kind and warm (E/C) orbs went cold and shrunk down to the size of pebbles, her plain bare tail stopped curling and shot up straight into the air, she was afraid.

The small girl didn't realize how long she left her father alone, and she didn't even tell him where she went off to, her mind immediately began to race with thousands of thoughts, her dad yelling at her in anger for worrying him, him noticing the strange smells on her and then going into a fit, him rushing back to the cottage and slaughtering all of the new friends she made..

But she kept her cool, almost as soon as she panicked, (Y/N) forcefully calmed herself down and hid her grimace with a tiny, nervous smile full of false emotions, she didn't need to worry, all she had to do was follow some advice from her books, she could lie, if her dad smelled them she could just say she accidentally bumped into other people on the rush back, and she would tell him that she tried to explore the town but got lost, there, the perfect alibi.

Hiding her urgency to flee the house and run like hell was on her heels, (Y/N) merely sighed and stood up from her seat, "looks like it's time for me to rush back to the shore" all of the thieves immediately swung their heads toward her with almost hurt looking expressions on their faces, as if the very thought of her leaving was enough to kill them inside, and little did she know that was very close to how hurt they really were.

"W-Wait, you're able to stay for a few more minutes, no?" Bege mildly stuttered, "noooo! You can't leave yet! What about a game of pirates first!?" Luffy desperately cried, "what!? Can't you stay for another hour?" Zoro whined, "(N/N) please don't go yet" Drake miserably whimpered.

Just looking at the desprate messes they were, (Y/N) almost considered their offers, but then she caught herself at the last second remembering her father's wrath from the docks, she didn't want that directed at them, she'd die before that, "I-I'm sorry guys, there's only so much time I can spend here without getting my dad..worried" she glanced at Law feeling the need to say goodbye to his face but swiftly looked away from his pitiful glassy eyes, oh how she wanted to kiss that delicate sheen away from his beautiful orbs, but she'd only want to stay even more, though that was already a problem as they all closely followed her to the door on her way out.

As (Y/N) walked out and wandered into the middle of the grassy field, she paused feeling the gentle wind and turned around to see the family still standing at the door, their sad faces burned holes right through her conscience and made fresh tears start spring to her own eyes, why did they have to make this so hard? "I-I promise to come back and see you guys tomorrow, okay!?" That was one they all knew she couldn't keep.

But hearing her heartfelt holler, the smaller kids cheered back to her in agreement, this made (Y/N) feel better and heartier from their happier sounding cries, then she didn't hesitate in bounding out of their sight before she lost her nerve, and decided to stay for good.

Law felt his heart slow down, as if it was also depressed from her sudden departure, and with a deep scowl, he sighed and weakly closed the door, his muscles felt weak and sore, as if he suddenly lost all the energy he needed to move.

It was as if she was indeed a new kind of drug, he was full blown addicted to her cheerful presence, now this time the withdrawal was even worse than before, he was completely hooked, but he wasn't the only one.

When Law turned around, he was left pain stricken at the tearful expressions of his family, Luffy, Urouge, Bonney, Drake and Zoro were all silently crying a river, Hawkins and Bege were grimacing into their arms, even Kidd and Appo were holding back some frustrated roars of anger, but when Killer began to cry hysterically once he realized she left, everything came bursting out like a rushing river.

"WAAAAAAAHHH!!!" Killer sobbed over everyone else just like the small baby he was, Law was barely able to keep himself from going deaf over the sickening sound of their endless wailing, "N-NOOOO!!! W-WHY-*hiccup*-W-WHY DOES THE PRETTY LADY HAVE TO GO!?!?" Bonney stamped her feet on the floor on instinct and whipped her tail around as she continued to cry along with the others, "I-IT'S NO FAAAAIIIIRRR!!!!" Zoro whined in frustration as his cheeks reddened from all the blood rushing to his face.

"L-Law, can't (Y/N) stay?" The raven silently drew in a sharp breath and looked down completely dumbstruck at the sight of Hawkins' moistened eyes and pouty lips, never has he seen the usually monotone boy so upset and helpless.

The other was just about to start tearing up as well until, Law slightly jerked back while his eyes widened into the size of saucers, a terribly brilliant idea popped into his head once again, he wasn't going to go down so easily, and seeing the devilish smirk form on his lips and his tail wave in mischief, Hawkins paused before feeling hope swarm into his chest, did his brother have an idea?

This new development silenced all of the siblings cries as they all hopefully watched their brother for an idea on what to do, "well...if we don't want her to leave...why don't we start an operation..and have her stay? Make her part of the family too?" Kidd paused before grinning viciously, no doubt Law had another crazy ass plan to pull off, Luffy impatiently started to fidget as Urouge clutched onto the ends of his tunic in a happy nervousness, the whole family knew how tremendously exciting the oldest's operations could go down, and how successful they were too.

"W-We cwan kweep (Y/N)?" Killer sniffled, his puffy eyes stung underneath all of his bangs but still concealed the weakness and fragility they held, which he was grateful for at the moment.

But the weakness soon transformed into pure adrenaline when Law gave him a confident smile that almost looked similar to Luffy's, "bloody damn rights, and I think we can all agree that we'll do so by doing what we do best, don't you think guys?" They all cheered in excitement, (Y/N) was coming back to them.
