The waxing moon coated the entire town of dusted hopes and crooked ne'er-do-wells in a magical ray of soft light, making the scene below it look almost peaceful as it blended in well with the sparkling ocean waves, everything was tinted in a dark blue, hiding the sly man who danced upon the roof tiles like a graceful ballerina.

He never meant to stay out so late, but that girl from the street made him linger out much longer than he intended.

At the memory of her perfect face Law almost slipped on a curved tile and stumbled a few times before resuming his run towards home.

No doubt that cocky bastard Scratchmen was going to never let him hear the end of it, or maybe Luffy might smother him with his hugs for being late, dang- why did that woman have to be so damn interesting?

Law finally found a familiar landmark and sighed in relief knowing he made it, ahead of him were two large buildings that left only a very narrow space in between, and using his flexible body he easily flushed himself through the in between to be faced with his one and only home.

It was an unusually large cottage miraculously still standing on the edge of a grassy cliff beyond a field of cattails, a large freshwater waterfall surrounded the land in a curve, leaving a clear small cove far down below, making the air around him constantly damp and occupied by water particles dancing in the atmosphere, unlike in the rest of the city, the roof was made out of hundreds upon hundreds of strong straws and clay, while the building itself was made of cobblestone and granite.

Even before entering the house Law could hear all the barbaric commotion exploding through the round windows and boucing off the walls, though actually he was still glad there weren't any holes yet since it sounded like a verified war zone in there.

Mustering all the courage he could gather up, the raven put on a blank face and walked in there as if he wasn't just hesitating just a moment ago, "hey kiddies, I'm home" and right after he sarcastically breathed out those words he was met with a pillow violently flying past his face.

Freezing on the spot, the sleep deprived male blinked before turning to the direction it came from, he smirked at the huffing redhead on the staircase, Eustass only growled at the smug look on his face, stomped his boot onto the railing and pointed an accusing finger at him as his furry tail spiked in anger, "where th' fuck'n hell hav' ya been wit' tha' food!?"

Law's smirk grew wider only making his younger brother steam in rage even more, "I went shopping you barbaric dunce" he raised the sack and gave it a small shake to emphasize the stolen goods inside.

But before either of the rival siblings could make another move, two fast blobs came rushing down the staircase and both leaped out to swipe the bag, but Law was too fast for them and yanked it away from their tiny paws just in time to watch them colide into the back of the couch behind them.

"Owchie!" Both the twins cried out painfully, Law turned around and smiled down at two of the youngest siblings in the house, although he enjoyed their high spirit energy he still preferred the male twin better while the other was a bit too annoying for him to handle..besides, she acted more like an obnoxious tomboy than any other girl he's ever met.

With a small sigh Law crossed his arms at the two pairs of dilated eyes widening up at him, "Luffy, Bonney, wait for Kidd to at least cook it first" he scolded them as he absentmindedly handed the sack to the bulkier sibling.

"Okay" they singsonged boredly and played with their hands shyly.

Just as Kidd left for the kitchen, both Hawkins and Drake entered the room at the sound of the commotion, with a book in hand the younger teen walked in a daze until he accidentally strolled into Law's side, "Hawkins, found another interesting book?" The small boy looked up from the pages of his book and nodded as his eyes shrunk from removing them from the pages.

This made Drake frown at the lack of attention and run up to Law with a pout, the younger grabbed ahold of his dark grey vest, "Lawy! Lawy! Look! I went exploring in the cove today and I found this!"

The ginger then proceeded to hand him a unique shell beyond what the younger kids have ever come back with before, it was in all kinds of different colors and had interesting spikes on it, making it remind him of an instrument.

Law delicately scooped it into his arms and smiled down at the beauty, "this is absolutely gorgeous Drake, did you show everyone else?" The little boy's scaly tail wagged wildly as he beamed at his compliment and nodded his head, giggling before giving a short and victorious glare to the other before following his powerful nose to the dining room.

Hawkins only let his slitted eyes stray on the door the ginger disappeared into for a little while longer before they finally returned to normal, he didn't hesitate while reaching into his pocket and handing his older brother a carved piece of sea glass that said, 'you're by far the most exceptonol brother ever' Law only smiled down at the piece before deciding not to tell him he spelled 'exceptional' wrong.

Just as he was about to complement the other, a familiar bell was rung and all the inhabitants paused in the middle of their activities at the sound of its awaiting and alluring call, "DINA'R'S READY YOU BITS A' CRAP!!" Kidd's obnoxious voice boomed through the walls and bounced across every surface of the home.

Law smiled as his bare hand was suddenly stolen by the three small kids and quickly juggled both of his presents in his other hand as he was eagerly dragged to the dining room, looks like everyone was just as ravenous as they were when he left.

The dining hall was a mess, just like it became everytime the brothers sat down and ate, each and every one of them were either fighting over their food like the literal animals they were, or silently feasting on their own fair share, but Law didn't even take a bite.

He just continued to go unnoticed as he stared and stared, and stared some more at his soup, the more he looked at his own reflection the more he saw images of that girl, and he didn't even catch her name!

She was like a taunting phantom, haunting his memory and tormenting his soul from the inside out, strangling all of the yearning in his heart and pulling it all out, he wanted to see her again so badly, he wanted to learn her name, to know what she liked, what she did, her life, her childhood, why she was so different...

Law sighed, making the cooling liquid in his dish ripple and make the image inside it disappear along with his fleeting thoughts of his new fantasy, god- how could one small, gorgeous, funny, amusing, shy, innocent female make him so unbelievably lovesick?

"W'at w'ong Waw?" Everyone who was in their own little world or was currently arguing with another brother fell silent as all eyes fell onto the baby of the family.

Killer's tiny beady eyes locked on Law's and possibly even stared into his very soul, although he was only a few months old, Killer sometimes seemed much more reliable than any of his older siblings, which always made Law feel oddly proud, technically being the one raising them all since he was the oldest amongst them.

Then all the other sibling's gazes went to the oldest, feeling deeply concerned once they saw he didn't even touch his spoon Luffy and Drake went into hysterics, "AHHHHHH!!! LAWY DIDN'T EAT ANYTHING WHAT'S WRONG?!!!" "OH GOD IS TORAO SICK AGAIN!? I DON'T WANT TORAO TO DIE!!!!" Both Drake and Luffy then proceeded to cry hysterically, and this caused a chain reaction, making Zoro and Bonney soon follow in the water works sensing the negative energy around their siblings.

As Hawkins, Urouge, and Bege were left trying to calm them down and reassure them that their brother wasn't in fact going to die, Kidd and Appo immediately started panicking at the sight of the full plate thinking back to the days where Law wouldn't eat a whole meal for weeks on end just so they could all stay well fed and healthy.

"OH SHIT PLEAZ' EAT LAW!!! WE HAVE PLENTA' OF FOOD TO GO AROUND SO PLEAZ' DON'T START STARVING YA' SELF AGAIN!!" Kidd hated it when Law did that, he may have hated his guts to the very bottom of his heart, but he still loved and cared for his brother deeply, and he refused to make him suffer for his own sake unless it was for his own amusement.

But all of this chaos immediately made the raven startled and feel guilty for making them all panic for no reason, "woah, woah everyone cal-calm down!!" At the sound of his authority and soothing tone, everything began to settle down again.

"It's..it's alright, I'm sorry guys, I was just spacing out that's all" as all the other brothers sighed in deep relief, Killer still left unabashed from all the calamity that he caused, "Waw, wha' kind a' treasher do ya want dats makin' you spacy?"

Shit, that brat was observant, "awww!? Lawy found a treasure!? That's why he's not eating!?" Drake hollered, "ohh!! If you want a treasure we can get it for you nii-san!" Bonney excitedly jumped, "yeah! We can get it for ya if you want it so bad!" Zoro cheered.

All of the brothers proceeded to talk about how they were going to steal the treasure for their older sibling, leaving the raven to just stand there in awkward silence, 'crap...'
