"언제나 거칠고 영원히 어린아이가 될 것입니다" (Always will be wild and forever a child)

WildChild (와일드 차일드/ワイルドチャイルド/野孩子) is a girl group formed under WakeOne that debuted on May 17th 2021 with 5 members. The members are Chaekyoung, Yuechan, Stella, Jiah and Minseo.

The girls preform a plethora of concepts including Fresh, Dark, Teen Crush ect. Each comeback has a variety of songs that fans will love.
The groups unique songs also brought them a spot on Queendom 2 in which they placed third (behind winners WJSN and runners up LOONA) in the finale.

There was a lot of backlash for Minseo's age at debut but WakeOne has took measures to ensure that she is well protected along with her other underage member Jiah. The group has also been rumoured that after Kep1er's disbandment, Chaehyun would join the group as a member but this has never been confirmed although Jiah has teased of 2 sister groups set to debut in 2024 with one being Izna (formed from the survival show Iland 2 N/A)

Let's meet the members:

Chaekyoung (채경/チェギョン/蔡京) is the Oldest member of WildChild. She was born on March 20th 2002 in Busan, South Korea and her birth name is Han Chae-Kyoung (한채경). She is the Leader, Main Rapper and Lead Dancer of the group. She has been a trainee for 6 years and has been a trainee at YG Entertainment and at WakeOne. Her representative colour is Ocean Blue.

The member she feels closest to is Yuechan as they trained the longest together and are even the same age. Yuechan is Chaekyoung's ride or die and the two share a dorm together. Chaekyoung treats Stella, Jiah and Minseo like her younger sisters and looks after them like a second mother.

Yuechan (유의찬/ユ·ウィチャン/劉義燦) is the second oldest and only Chinese member of WildChild. She was born on April 18th 2002 in Shanghai, China and her birth name is Zhou Yue Chan (周嶽燦). She is the Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Center and Rapper of the group. She has been a trainee for 7 years and has been a trainee at SM Entertainment and WakeOne. She was on the survival show Produce 48 and ranked 13th making her miss out on a spot to debut in the highly successful Iz*One (as of the police report, Yuechan was supposed to debut as she actually had ranked 3rd instead of 13th). Her representative colour is Crimson Red.

The member she feels closest to is Chaekyoung since they have both trained together for about 5 years and have always been friends since. Chaekyoung is Yuechan's ride or die. Yuechan loves Stella, Jiah and Minseo and they are like sisters to her and she would never want to let them go.

Stella (스텔라/ステラ/斯特拉) is the Middle child of WildChild and the only member raised in Canada. She was born on July 1st 2004 in Gwangju, South Korea and her birth name is Park Ju-Won (박주원). She is the Lead Dancer, Lead Rapper and Vocalist of the group. Stella has been a trainee for 3 years and has only been a trainee at WakeOne. Her representative colour is Pale Purple.

She feels closest to Jiah as they have both attended the same elementary school together before Stella moved to Canada. She feels like Chaekyoung and Yuechan are her older sisters as they care for her and the younger members but she feels like Minseo's mother due to her age.

Jiah (지아/ジア/賈亞) is the second youngest member of WildChild. She was born on October 16th 2006 in Gwangju, South Korea and has the birth name Kwon Ji-Ah (권지아). She is the Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist and Visual of the group. She was set to be apart of Girls Planet 999 but die to WakeOne's last minute decisions, she left last minute to join WildChild. Her representative colour is Candy Pink.

She feels closest to Yuechan as Jiah finds that she gets more understood by Yuechan who is basically the Ying to her Yang. She feels that Chaekyoung, Stella and Minseo are her sisters as they always stick together regardless of what challenges lie ahead.

Minseo (민서/ミンソ/閩西) is the Maknae of WildChild. She was born on January 10th 2009 in Seoul, South Korea and her birth name is Seo Jee-Min (서지민). She is the Lead Dancer, Vocalist, Rapper and visual of the group. WakeOne was given backlash for letting Minseo to debut at 12 but she has been given protection by the company to limit the danger she is placed in and depending on when events happen that she isn't up late hense why sometimes she is missing from end of year award shows. Her representative colour is Grass Green.

She doesn't feel close to any particular member since she only trained for 1 year and 3 months but she sees all of the members as her sisters as they are always by her side, awaiting for anything she has to say and would protect her at all costs. All the members are proud of Minseo's achievements and hopes that she grows up to be happier than the sun.
