Back to the Jade House...

Lóng and Zuna stared at the Pangolin Shadow Ranger as he scanned around to make sure no one saw him. "That's Shanjiâ. One of the Shadow Rangers we saw last time when we helped the Wild Rangers" he reminded her, keeping his voice low so the pangolin wouldn't hear them.

Shanjiâ felt the feeling that he was being watched. Well, he was with the kids staring at him like two hawk siblings. "Huh?" He said and turned his head around but the siblings quickly ducked down, hiding beneath their window. The pangolin only spotted an opened window.

"Those Shadow Rangers are trouble. It can't be any good" Lóng whispered to his sister serious. The last time they met, Shanjiâ was a rolling ball of chaos and destruction.

"Ah! An opening inside the house! Excellent!" The siblings' heard Shanjiâ's voice from outside and their eyes widen as they looked towards the window. It was still open wide and Shanjiâ could easily get in.

Outside, the pangolin smirked, chuckling as he stepped back a bit. "It looks like I have the advantage. Getting in will be easy" Shanjiâ told himself confident but he had no idea the siblings could hear him.

The Shadow Ranger jumped onto the wall and latched onto it with his claws. He started climbing up to the window which honestly wasn't that far up.

Lóng and Zuna looked at eachother wide eye as they listened to Shanjiâ retracting his claws each time to climb. "We can't let him in the house" Lóng whispered to his sister urgently.

Without thinking for a second, Zuna rose up and grabbed the window which got her spotted by Shanjiâ. "What the-" he said startled to see her and before he could say anything, Zuna slammed the window shut right on his hands.

"YEOW! OW OW OW!" Shanjia yelled in pain, struggling to pull his arms out of the window door. Zuna quickly locked the window door as she sat down the ground. Lóng stared at her, trying to process what happen. It happened so fast.

He shook his head and smiled at her "Good job Zuna" he told her pleased, patting her on her helmet and she smiled big.

WAM! The two heard something that fell pretty loud and they looked back at the window. They found Shanjiâ lying on his back on the ground, groaning in pain. "Good thing our window's not far from the ground. Otherwise, he wouldn't be alive right now" Lóng commented as his sister nodded in agreement.

Shanjiâ got up, rubbing his back sore from the fall, groaning. "Oooh that hurts" he moaned as he switch to his head, rubbing it. His eyes looked up at the window now shut but they widen when he realize he saw Zuna before.

"Hey! You're the human born with the strange panda ears!" He called out, pointing at the window and referring to her odango buns.

Zuna stood up and opened the window again with an annoyed looked. "I'm not born with panda ears! These are ears!" She told him angrily, pulling on her real human ears as Lóng got on his feet.

"The Wild Rangers thought the same thing when we first met! You guys aren't any different!" She told him offended, pointing at him.

The pangolin Shadow Ranger got on his feet as he glared at her. "Well the only different between the Shadow and Wild Rangers is today we will be victorious!" He announced to them proudly, smirking at them as he raised his fist.

The siblings glared at him, his threat not scaring them. "That's what you think Shanjiâ. Our friends beat you once. They can do it again" Lóng reminded him as Zuna nodded in agreement with her brother.

"Yeah! All it takes is one call and they'll come kick your scaly butt!" She told him, pulling a special communicator Honey gave her to contact them if there was trouble.

But Shanjiâ laughed at them mockingly which confused the siblings but Lóng got worried, sensing something was up.

"Your Wild Ranger friends won't be coming this time. They'll be busy walking into a distraction set up by Venoma and my team, not knowing and not thinking that I'm on my way here to your house to catch their little human friends" he explained to them and the siblings stared at him wide eye and shocked.

"Without your friends to protect you now, you're completely vulnerable and an easy catch for me!" He told them mockingly and laughed as he leaped up towards them but the siblings shut the window again and SLAM!

Shanjiâ slammed his face into the window and fell back on the floor "ow" he moaned in pain, wondering how that happen twice to him.

"This isn't good" Lóng said concerned about this. The Shadow Rangers were no good and Shanjiâ is no different from them. He may not be smart but he's strong and dangerous.

"Why does that rolling ball of scales want to catch us?" Zuna asked her brother worried. "Because if he gets us, the Wild Rangers will have no choice but to surrender. That way we don't get hurt by the Shadow Rangers" Lóng explained with realization as the siblings looked out the window worried. Last time they fought a Shadow Ranger, they had their friends. Now it was up to them to defend themselves until the Wild Rangers show up.
