Shanjiâ was scanning around the kitchen for the humans, looking in the cabinets and cupboards. Even the fridge. Lóng came halfway down the stairs and saw the Shadow Ranger. He glared at him and looked at the bo staff in his hand.

"Please look out for me Baba" he said, his grip tightened on it before turning back to his opponent. He placed his fingers in his mouth to catch the pangolin's attention.

"Whistle!"

Lóng whistled him which alerted Shanjiâ. The Shadow Ranger turned around but before he could react, Lóng had jumped over the staircase railing and side kicked him in the face with a "Ha!"

The ranger hit the floor while Lóng landed on the floor and pulled his bo staff out in front of him for defense, glaring at him. Shanjiâ shook his head from that sudden hit and he looked back at the human angrily.

"You annoying creature! You dare to land a blow on me?!" He yelled at him angrily, holding his face as he got up. "And I will gladly land a couple more. This house is under protection of the Jades" Lóng told him firmly, staring at him.

"I admire your bravery child. But while I take pleasure in fighting those annoying Wild Rangers, I'm hesitant to fight children. If you and your sister come with me peacefully, no one shall get hurt. Even if the Wild Rangers surrender, you shall be spared from any harm" he explained to him. Shanjiâ may be one of the bad guys. But there were times when he was willing to go with peaceful negotiations.

"Last time we met, Jag attacked me and your leader tried to capture Zuna. And you just tried to break in our house. So you Shadow Rangers are anything but peaceful" the boy explained to him angrily. To Lóng, that had passed when they first fought eachother last time. Zuna came at the top of the stairs and saw her brother and Shanjiâ.

"Plus, Venoma doesn't like humans. So there's no way she will guarantee our safety. You want me and my sister, you'll have to fight me" he told him firmly. The pangolin shook his head, sighing. "Then I guess I will have to do it the hard way then" he said, smirking at the boy before his helmet activated.

His armor illuminates neon purple scales and his tail retracted some scales too. Zuna gasped surprised. She knew he was rolling ball of destruction. But those glowing scales could be worse. Zuna quickly ran to her room to start battle preparations to help her brother.

She bursted into her room "We need more firepower to take down Shanjiâ!" She told herself urgently as she begun to prepare.

Back downstairs, the pangolin lunged his tail at the boy. You would think that with a kid, it would be easy with just one hit. But the Shadow Ranger didn't know his opponent that well as he thought. Lóng was trained in martial arts.

He side dodged it. His enemy went for another hit and Lóng side dodged this one narrowly, holding his bo staff for protection as it hit against the scaly armor tail. Growling, Shanjiâ swung his tail around but Lóng rolled to the ground to dodge it.

Shanjiâ went for another tail stab but Lóng spun around to dodge it and taking theopportunity, he stabbed his bo staff into the ranger. It pushed his opponent, catching his by surprise. Shanjiâ fell onto one knee, holding his stomach after it got hit. He did not expect to receive a blow from a child. While his helmet covered his face, he growled fustrated and Lóng got the feeling he was glaring from under that helmet. Grunting, he got back up as he and Lóng circled eachother, their bodies twitching, ready to move whenever their opponent would make the next attack.

Back to Zuna, she had geared herself up with her shin guards and elbow pads. A cute kawaii panda fanny pack was around her waist to carry her ammo, her water or juice punch balloons. She had two nerf guns strapped to her back and two water guns strapped to her waist. She had some nerf ammo strapped on her chest and she smeared some paint on her face for a warrior look. She also had on water goggles too.

Zuna had on a serious face and pulled out her water blasters. "Safety first" she said serious as she pulled out one of the water blasters and nerf guns, loading them up. She heard the battling downstairs and gasped in worry for her brother.

"I'm coming Lóng!" She yelled out him, picking up a backpack that had gear for him and she ran out the room, ready for battle.

Back downstairs, Shanjiâ spun around and swung his sharp, scale retracted tail at the boy. Lóng leaned away as much as possible from the sharp tip of the tail. It nearly touched a small tip of his black hair but somehow he avoided getting touched by.

Lóng lost balance but quickly regained it, holding his bo staff firmly. He immediately charged at Shanjiâ and stabbed his weapon into his hind leg. Shanjiâ grunted in pain and Lóng jumped onto his back and leaped off it for a higher jump.

Shanjiâ looked up at his opponent. Lóng held his bo staff, glaring at him and swung it down hard for a final bowl.

SMASH!

Lóng landed back to the floor but he looked up and his eyes widen in surprise. In front of him, stood this purple ball of scales glowing. "Impressive" Shanjiâ said as his face emerged from the ball, his helmet still on, showing his eyes.

BAM!

He unrolled, unleashing the scales and it sent Lóng flying out of the kitchen and into the living room. His back hit the couch. He was not expecting for the pangolin to pull off a move like that. Not only was the Shadow Ranger the strongest out of them. He also had cunning and smarts on how to use hi strength.

"You lasted longer than I expected Lóng. I must admit you surprised me" Shanjiâ told him, approaching the boy, smirking in amusement. Lóng glared at him, still holding his bo staff for defense. "Perhaps one human child will do for Venoma" he added as his tail retracted the scales and he was about to swing it at him.

SPLAT!

"Ah! What in the-!" He yelled in alarm. Something had hit his face. It was some orange splat and it was on his eyes, causing a sting to it that he had to close them. "Argh! What is it?! It stings!" He yelled as he rubbed his face to ease the sting. Lóng however had a good idea where it came from. Or rather who it came from.

"Feel the sting of orange juice ya ball of scales!" Zuna yelled out angrily, aiming a nerf gun at him. She had thrown one of her juice balloons at him.

Shanjiâ opened his eyes and was stunned to see the girl holding a weapon and aiming it at him. Fortunately for him, it was a toy but he didn't know that. Letting out a battle cry, Zuna fired her nerf gun at him.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ouch!" Shanjiâ yelled as the nerf balls pelted him repeatedly. Even though he had armor for protection and nerf bulls weren't exactly dangerous, they did hurt. "Why did I take my helmet off?!" He asked himself regrettably as he held his arms for protection, backing up against a wall.

Zuna quickly turned to her brother "Here! Gear up big brother!" She told him and tossed him her backup. Lóng opened it and founded some of his own gear in there.

"Here!" She tossed him his own nerf gun and water blaster to his feet. He looked at his sister but his eyes widen at seeing the pangolin recovered and about to swing his tail at her. "Watch out Zuna!" He yelled out to her, alarmed and frighten for her safety. While he had skill in martial arts, Zuna was still learning and wasn't a master at them yet.

The girl saw the tail and gasped in surprised. She quickly took a step back as the tail hit the floor. He swung it at her feet but she quickly jumped onto the bar counter. She climbed on it, resting on her knees. She pulled our her water gun and aimed it at him with a large wild smile.

"GET SQUIRTED!" She yelled at him and blasted the water at his face. The pangolin shook his face and held his tail for defense. Zuna took out one of her juice balloons and jumped onto his tail and onto to his shoulders. She slammed the balloon onto his face, smearing blue juice on him.

"FEEL THE WRATH OF THE JADES!" She yelled, wacking his head with her water gun. "GET OFF OF ME YA LITTLE MONSTER!" He told her terrified, moving around to try to shake her off as she kept letting out a battle cry.

Lóng had gotten his gear on for protection and picked up the two blasters she had tossed him. "Gotcha!" He heard the pangolin's voice and he looked up and saw Shanjiâ had manage to grab Zuna. The girl was holding onto his snout as he tried to pull her off him. Clearly, Zuna doesn't give up in a fight

He glared at the ranger angrily and aimed his nerf gun at his stomach and shot it. "Ow ow ow ow!" Shanjiâ yelled in pain and distracted, Lóng charged at him and kicked him in the stomach. It made him drop Zuna and he fell to the floor with a groan.

"Zuna you ok?" Lóng asked his sister concerned, lending her a hand. She grabbed his hand and got up. "Yeah!" She told him confident and smiling big. But it fell and she frowned when she noticed something. "Hey you forgot something" she told him and it confused him. She walked back to the backpack and rummaged into it, pulling out this headband.

She putted it on his head lopsided and popping a balloon full of paint, she smeared some of it on his face. "There! Now you look like a warrior brother. Together, we will show Shanjiâ what happens when he challenges the Jades!" she told him proudly, putting her hands on her hips and holding a fist.

Lóng stared at his sister surprised, blinking. He wondered if maybe being with the rangers brought out this feisty fighter inside her. Nevertheless, he smiled at her, relieved for her help. If she hadn't shown up, he would be done for.

"Thanks Z" he told her, patting her helmet. Zuna smiled at her brother but her eyes caught from the corner her roller skates, lying against a plant. "Hey" she said, smiling misheviously as Lóng followed her direction. It was time to gain some speed.

Meanwhile, Shanjiâ got up, holding his head. "Those little brats! Now you will greatly pay for this!" He said angrily, turning his head both sides to find the kids. He was irritated that this mission got harder and that he was getting beaten by two kids with no magic powers.

"SHANJIÂ!" Zuna yelled out and he turned to the source of her voice. She came bursting from the kitchen with her roller skates on as Lóng held her hand, pulling her with one hand while his other shot the nerf gun at their enemy. "What the-!?" Shanjiâ yelled alarmed and wide eye and he shielded himself from the nerf bullets with his arms

"Taste our fruit punch!" She yelled out as Lóng threw her to the pangolin and she threw a water balloon at him...the tables have turned for the siblings and soon for the rangers.
