* this song is from 'You're Not You' and it's one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. So, sorry for any tears. Play this whenever I just think it explains Mike's feelings, I probably won't do this until like prom or something. Was that a spoiler? Also, Sadie's birthday is tomorrow.

We all waited outside of the Hanlon house, clad in all black. It was a cold day, why'd it have to be such a cold day?

We all felt so bad, no one knew what to do. The only thing that helped was Richie's hand rubbing my arm up and down. Death was kinda scary, really scary. Maybe I wa the key one of us thinking about it but we're all gonna-

"Six forty-two." Mike said stepping out of the house and down his steps. We all looked at each other and let him walk a little ways. It was as if any of us stepped on the ground he did then it would be like going to a path of insanity...but we were all a little insane.

"Mike, wait!" Stan called after him. My mom was inside, so were the rest of our parents. We stepped outside to 'get some fresh air' but really Beverly just needed a smoke. Richie thought about it but already felt ill enough.

I looked through the window before we all raced after the taller, dark-skinned boy. He stopped right before he reached his grandf- his truck. Does this mean no more deliveries?

"What, What do you people have to say to me that could possibly make this better?" He was angry and hurt, this wasn't Mike. I could see tears well in his eyes.

"Nothing, Nothing is okay, Nothing will make this better, Nothing can stop this. But also, Nothing will get you down, Nothing will hurt you, Nothing will kill our Knight in shining armor. Mike- the protector, right?" I never pictured myself as a mantra type f girl, I guess I was secretly good at keeping people on their feet—then again I was always taking care of something. Shut up, Arri, this isn't about you.

"Arri's right, you're one of the bravest people I know." Beverly stepped towards him. He backed up to the door of the truck and leaned on it a bit. He had his head down.

"The brave can be weak too." He muttered brokenly.

"Yeah, we're not asking you to risk your life, we're just wanting you to make sure if you're okay— even if you have to protect yourself first." Stan stepped closer.

"Listen, life sucks, it's horrible and it goes by too fast. Sometimes you run over the roses instead of stopping to smell them, but they grow back, it just takes time." Ben steps closer.

"We're y-your family." Bill, "w-we'll always be h-h-here." He stepped closer.

"You'll always have us, we can show life who's boss, you could even come to school with us— Senior year with Kings!" Eddie said stepping closer and gesturing with his arms out as if to show the land.

"The land is ours, we could even have a jester to cheer you up, isn't that what they did back then?" Richie put his hand on my shoulder.

"What we're trying to say is, break down, we'll carry you so that you can keep on moving." Stan stepped up last.

He took in a shaky breath and looked at us with tears blocking his vision. He never deserved this.

"I knew it would happen one day but..." he trailed off, I stepped forwards some more.

"We all did, that's why we're here." I grabbed his hand. He looked at out hands then to me sadly.

"What about when you're not?" I shook my head quickly to reassured him, the others surrounding us.

"Never gonna happen...I got us." He looked all around at us—his friends.

"But I'm supposed to be the night— the protector." He was feeling down, we all did sometimes, it was okay.

"And you still are, you'll always be our knight." I wiped his tears from one cheek as he quickly did ya same to the other.

"We can stay if you'd like." Billy said softy. Mike exhaled harshly like he couldn't believe his ears.

"Really?" He questioned, we al looked at each other peculiarly. What kind of question is that?

"We've never left before." Bev said with a slight crack in her voice.

"We have no reason to now." Eddie said lowly, like he was talking to a child who was upset cause their mom yelled at them for being too loud in the grocery store.

"Everyone goes through things..." Stanley assured our friend, "...life is thing."

"But we get through it." Richie said, he'd surprisingly been a lot quieter today.

"Together." Ben put his hand on Beverly's shoulder. Sweet.

"Because we are kings." I reached right pass Mike to the door hand of the truck and opened it. He smiled and nodded at me thankfully before getting in and starting the truck. I remember leaving my car keys with my mom and followed the rest of the gang to the back of Mike's truck where we piled in the back.

He drove and we let him, wherever he desired. Not everything was about Derry, the Losers Club, or even life, sometimes it was just about going through things and getting through the day. Sometimes the most tragic things could be the most serene moments of your life. Like standing in the eye of a tornado.

We all looked at one another as Mike blasted music. I laid my chin on Richie's head as he was laying between my legs, playing with the hem of my dress.

I leaned down to ask, "Would you miss me?" It wasn't the right time to ask, but I over think everything way too much. I wish I was a consistent thinker but I'm not.

He turned to look at me with a small smile, something totally different from the huge one I fell in love with. I fell in love with this small, sad, sympathetic smile as well.

"Let's just say if you died today I wouldn't be on this Earth tomorrow, I'd be in it." I sighed at his answer.

"That's not what I want..." I said sadly, the idea made me sad. Would he really?

"Then What is it that you would want my princess?" I shook my head and moved a few curls from his face.

"Tomorrow." I said pecking his lips. He turned back to the group, I looked around at all of us.

I hope there's tomorrow.
