Once my trip to school was over I was greeted by Mary and James and we all got our group hugs out of the way. We all got to tell each other how much we missed one another and things that I missed during my absence. Apparently one of the popular girls, Heather, got into a fight with her boyfriend Hank. It was not a pretty sight, I heard.

We settle down in class and as we're waiting for Mrs. Sickles to arrive this guy walks in. He fills up the doorway and almost hits his head on the top of the doorframe. His eyes are a bright green and shockingly he has a scent to him that makes me think of the woods. He glanced at me then goes to a seat over on the other side of the room. I turn to Mary and ask her about him.

"So who is this new kid?"

She sighs and answers. " That guy, he's cute isn't he. His name is Henry. Why do you ask?"

"I never heard from either of you this morning about him." I snap, hoping that Mary wakes up from her daydream. It worked.

"Well he just got here yesterday. He looks like he has lived off in the mountains. But he really has the looks I'm looking for."

It ended there as Mrs. Sickles walks in. She notices that I'm back and she tells me to stay after class. The lesson was just like I hadn't left and as she droned I kept tabs on the new guy. I figure that after I'm done with Mrs. Sickles then I'll hunt him down. Just so happened that my planning worked. Soon after I finished the tests for Sickles I found him outside the cafeteria.

I thought I'd make a strong showing. "What are you doing here? This is my families land your trespassing on."

He looked shocked. "I was just passing through, even if I stayed I would always want to leave. This place isn't mine but it's not good enough for me."

With that he stormed off, leaving me feeling proud that I chased him off before my parents found him. If they did he wouldn't last very long. Yet as I am taking my bike into the last turn to my house he was standing on the front step. Shoving my bike to the ground I decided to push my luck and see if I couldn't chase him away again.

"What are you doing here?! This is my house!" I am just about hysteric because he seems so nonchalant about the situation.

"So what! What if I want to join your pack? No one like you can tell me to go away! Only the alpha can send me away so I may never return!" He turns back to the door and knocks once again, still waiting for my parents to answer. I go around to the back and let myself in. This night would not be easy for us, but as long as he stays here he puts us at risk. All I get to do now is listen to my parents and hope they want my say in anything.
