When did training get so hard? I think my favorite part of training was sword fighting. Dude my skills improve every day.

*Darren walked into the room and towards my direction*

"Hiya Darren" I said, wiping the sweat off my brow.

"Hey babe, here's your schedule for today and tomorrow btw tomorrows a half day, because your going to hopefully take your true form" Darren says, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me close to his chest.

Me and Darren have a strange relation ship, we're really close friends but we act as if we're boyfriend and girlfriend....

"Well I don't think I'll make it. Funny how my dad's been talking to me about getting a boyfriend. It's to late, my ceremony's tomorrow" I said, placing my head on his chest.

"Well who ever is the lucky one is let's hope he loves you, the same amount that you love him." Darren said, as he placed a light kiss on the top of my head.

"Well ,I'll see you later Darren." I said, and lean against the wall of the training room, preparing stuff for my next class.

Me and Darren have been this way ever since 8th grade... He started acting strange and I won't say I don't like it, it's just...I wish we weren't just friends...It's a lot to ask but, I like him.

I walk the door and head to my next class. When I hear glass shattering in the sword fighting room. Running towards the sound of the shattered glass, I open the door to find glass covering most of the floor. The glass is being crushed into smaller pieces, under my feet with every step I take. I look around towards where the window was shattered and saw, there before me that Darren was fighting a defenseless boy with black hair with 5 red streaks in his hair and these strange bright blue eyes. His eyes felt as if they'd lure me in. I'll say he looked really cute and he wore all black. I'll say this,he kinda looked like a.....oh my god! How did he get over here there are only 5 left in the world and probably repopulated!

"Shit!" I said aloud.

The vampire suddenly looks in my direction and begins speaking a jumble of words, all I could understand is ....she's..couldn't ..Mina..... Then Darren tryed to call everyone from the pack they came but it was a moment to late he ran towards me and picked me up and ran out the window.

I heard Darren scream my name, but I couldn't do anything..
