I woke up in a warm bed Darren was sitting in a chair texting. I sat up on my bed and I noticed I was wearing the same clothes as yesterday.
Good morning Darren said and smiled I'll be right back to get you some breakfast your dad said that you have to stay in bed for a few hours. He said then left me alone in my room. I slowly tried to get out of bed and I stood up and fell back down. I got back up because I'm not letting the anyone tell me what to do that's just not me. I got up and grabbed onto the chair Darren was sitting in. Then I thought about an old cane that my grandma gave to me before she passed away two years later. I don't know why she gave it to me but it's useful now so might as well is it. I put my hand on the wall and slowly walked towards my closet and picked up my cane that I had on the far back of the wall behind all the my clothes that I'm to lazy to pick up. I got dressed with some boot cut jeans and a white tee and a sweatshirt that was from Las vagus I grabbed it and starting walking towards my door when it opened and Darren walked in holding a tray with French toast and orange juice and saw the cane and just shook his head at me. You never liked waiting did you. Darren said
Nope and I probably never will. I said
Can you sit down I need to tell you something. Darren said
What is it? I asked and sat down on my bed.
Darren brought the chair that he sat down earlier in and brought it closer to me and sat down. Well it's your father. Darren said
What happened? I asked frightened by what he would say.
Well he disappeared after your ceremony when you fainted and we were tracking him down we don't know what happened he said.
