The sun was brightly shinning through my blue tinted windows. I wish I could have slept longer even if it was only ten more minutes. I glanced over towards my alarm clock it was 6:45, I was already late. I quickly got dressed in my casual sailor suit, school uniform, and raced to the bathroom and began to brush my teeth and detangle the mess that I like to call hair. Rushing down the stairs and jumped into my gray truck and drove to the east mountain. By the time I got to the the house it was 1:00 in the afternoon and the best part is that I ran out of gas but that wouldn't be a problem. *opens the door* all of a sudden I see a sudden movement from the corner of my eye.

I wonder if this is my training for today a secret attack?

Then *Margaret jumps on me in her wolf form*

"Hiya Margaret it's been ages since I've seen you. How's your puppies doing?" I say to her.

Margaret began to speak to me saying "Good it's been difficult 5 puppies aren't very easy to take care of."

I replied by saying "well, who said it was?"

"are you ready for the ritual tonight?" She says getting serious.

"you know this is a chance of life or death right." She finishes.

"Ya" i say, staring down at the cold tile ground.

"but your the pack leaders little pup, your bound to make it." Margaret says, punching my arm playfully.

"that's what you say. Tomorrow I'm going to be dead wanna bet." I said, joking. Attempting to lighten the subject slightly.

"If u end up dead then we have to give the pack up to your brother, you know how power hungry he is. If he's leader I'll throw myself off a cliff." Margaret says, jokingly.

"Well if I do survive then he'll find a way to kill me. He'll go through every book in my dads library he will find a way behind the bond." I said as my head became hung low.

"If he does its my job to protect you." Margaret said.

"Ya I know" I replied.

"We better get to the training room or your father will have my head. You know how he wants u to be able to protect yourself." Margaret said as we walked down the halls, laughing at her words.
