I slowed down a little with the graphic tiles as summer progressed.

Why? 

The Wattys.

I decided to enter Ancilla into The Wattys after I saw that magic "Your story may be eligible to enter" banner, and since making any change to your manuscript means an automatic forfeit, I went into panic-edit mode.

I made last-minute chapter break illustrations for the soundbite edition, although I ultimately decided to enter the regular edition.

I made playlist videos for each chapter so that I could add them to the end material. 

I made black-and-white full-page illustrations for the commercial editions of Ancilla, mostly from the last-minute chapter break illustrations I'd made for the Wattpad editions.

I made Instagram reels (more back-end material!)

All that took time away from making basic Instagram promo tiles. 

Given that I need to write the spin-off novella, The Adventures of the Hypotenuse: or, Philosophy in Portland (it's about "Lydia") and start work on Soror Mystica, my output on Instagram will probably continue to be slow. It will slow down even further starting in October because my day job involves selling Medicare plans to seniors, and Medicare's annual election period is crazy busy. I will probably be working overtime until early December.

Onward. I'm going to mostly let these images speak for themselves because I am currently clocked into work and am making this page around making phone calls. My attention is therefore divided.
