INSTAGRAM GRAPHICS FROM LATE FEBRUARY THROUGH MID-MARCH

NOTE: You can see all my collage artwork and other graphic designs on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/seradrakethebookwyrm/

I have, for the most part, included all Ancilla-related posts from my Instagram account. The few that I did not include here were visually acceptable but had NSFW prose.

A character collage for "Magister." Anything that has Yeats on it, or has a black marble background, will be for "Magister." Yeats is his favourite poet, and the black marble was, I felt, a good way to convey an impression of his well-groundedness, his power, and his quiet strength.

Rose petals

More rose petals, this time with a short excerpt from the book. I wanted to hint at the feeding that was going on. Hence the drip of blood.

This one's foreshadowing the events of the Netzach chapter.

Of course "Magister" would read Petrarch...

Generic collage

A collage I made for the early phase of their relationship. The water ripples, of course, indicate stirred emotions.

Short excerpt.

The short prose passage is from the Tiphareth chapter. She's actually in danger of losing her mind at this point in the story. Her initiation rite worked a little too well.

e.e. cummings. This is the sort of poem "Magister" would read to "ancilla."

Generic collage

One illustration of the Liebestod from the later part of the Binah chapter.

This one's a little risque, albeit tastefully so. I like to use roses when making images for my protagonist.

A very busy collage, but then, "ancilla" and "Magister" get rather busy.

Another illustration attempting to convey an impression of the DON'T POINT THAT THING AT MY PLANET! whip. It has a foot-long silver handle with a knob on the end; aside from the effort required in cleaning repoussed silver, it's a very practical handle for a number of pleasurable uses. The business end of the whip is meant to be terrifying. Three-foot-long strands, some rubber, some braided leather, all capped with sharp steel tips and lead weights.

Here is "conflict ball." I mean, "Lydia." She is five feet nothing, wears a size 18 to 20 in American clothes, and is very, very goth. She develops a wicked crush on my protagonist. I may write a spin-off story about her someday - it would give me a chance to write something in the third person, and she's interesting.

Vampire tiles. Remember, my protagonist and her mentor are vampires, just not typical ones.
