First, the character stuff. 

I started making composites and character sketches as preliminary work on the honking huge Gigantic Character Collage page that I now enter whenever there is a character aesthetic category in an indie contest. 

The preliminary work went onto Instagram tiles. The IG tiles are smaller and thus easier to load.

Let's play a game! No, not that kind of game. This is a meme game. 

This is a fan playlist that Olivia Benedetti spontaneously made for me on Spotify. It's the first playlist anyone's ever made for my work, and I decided to screenshot it and immortalize it before it disappeared (it was only designed to be available for one month). 

The songs don't fit my idea of the story or the characters, but here's the thing about fan art, fan playlist, etc: they're not about you. They're about the fan who makes them for you as an act of love. And I got exposed to some interesting new music that I'd never heard before. I think I like The Weeknd. 

Here's something I dug up from an ancient email. Would you believe Ancilla was almost traditionally published? I'm so glad it wasn't! 

Oh, and just a reminder: My novel is available for purchase if anyone wants it in hard copy or in ebook format. 

Here's my tweak of the "These Are The Tropes you Can Find In This Book" meme. "These Are The Tropes" ---> is big on social media now. Guess what? I don't define my work by tropes, and I hate books that are NOTHING BUT TROPES. To me, tropes are a spice, not the main course. 

So naturally, I'm going to mock "These Are The Tropes."
