Later on when we got home I found my dad washing his car in the drive way.

"See ya later Riley." Alec said from his front porch.

"Yada yada Ragbeer." I said waving him off. 

"Good day Uncle Ross!" Alec said waving at dad.

"Hey Alec.See you tonight" Dad waved at him before Alec went inside. My parents were having a little party with all their friend over tonight in celebrating their anniversary. it's n annual thing, they go out for a trip they have a party the following day.

"I would never miss it." 

"Hey pops." i said walking up to him." Cara and Luca had already ran spoken to him and ran into the house.

He laugh "Hey, Nice Dino, Alec won it for you?" He asked referring to the giant stuffed dinosaur in my hands."

I scoffed "Please I don't need a guy to win me prize, I awesome enough to win it for myself."I said boldly lifting my head and pushing out y chest.

He laughed. 

"Where's your wife, how was the trip?" I asked looking up at the house.

He sighed and small smile coming on his face. 

My parents are in love yow. like legit in love. It can get pretty annoying when they start play fighting or giggle or whispering things in each others ear....but i mean there so many kids out there whose parents are divorced so i should be happy.

"It was awesome. we had a great time...that is up until all the pregnancy hormones kicked in and she's all grumpy feasting on Chocolate." He said before continuing wiping his work vehicle a 2017 Cadillac ct6.

My dad own a big company and a few others which he inherited when his family died.

Though the company was already successful, at a young age of 18 he had to work extra hard to take care of my mom and I when my biological parents died. there weren't even together, just best friends...and hearing from my dad, mom had a major crush on him since they were growing up as babies. but mom also sad he crushed on her too, just that he was a wuss and was scared to till her being afriad he'd ruin there friendship or something, and didn't tell her till they were 18-19 when something happen that they never speak about....

I think that they were both wuss...i mean mom like dad but never told him, he liked her but never told her, i mean something had to happen from them to....but then again mom dad say she told dad but he turned her down...OUCH. i crack up anytime dad tells the story.

"Ah, the pregnancy hormones, those bastards are vicious." I said nodding.

Dad turned to me and gave me a look.

"Sorry." I smiled sheepishly. "Want help washing?" I asked him.

He smiled. " It's okay, I'm almost finished." 

i Scoffed "As if i was actually going to help you, I crack myself up."  I began laughing.

He turned to me and shook his head. "You are just like you mom...Vanessa." He smiled at me.

Mom and Dad rarely spoke about the to us. I usually heard the talking about them among themselves but never to us. 

I smiled "W-what was she like really?I mean ehy you and mom showed me pictures with her..but you never really told me what she was like....her personally." I said.

He stopped working and smiled up at the sky.

Yeah pops whatcha looking at there?

He laughed "Just like you actually, so if you ever wonder where you got the feisty, blunt attitude from, it's her...Laura was the dramatic of the marano sisters...but your mom,your birth mom, um um..she was really fun to be around just don't get her on her nerves." He said 

" I remember one time when i was ten, It was in summer, Every single day i went to see your mom (Laura), I mean being best friends and all when went all little adventures everyday during the summer, but that day she wasn't their she had a dentist appointment and because i insisted to my parents that i would wait the entire day at her house for Laura to return i went over their." He continued

 "Vanessa was in the back playing basketball by herself so i went up to her and stood next to her, she was fourteen i think, and at that age teenage girls oh god, that's the beginning of the terrible stage, she was on her period and was grumpy, and i went up to her and took one of the balls lying on the floor, she told me not to touch it but heck i was missing my best friend(Laura) I was bored so i didn't listen, she warned me four times before whacking me right in the head with the the basket ball she was playing with." He laughed at the memory. I smiled. 

MY BIRTH MOM WAS FREAKING AWESOME!

"But other times she was pretty cool. One time in middle school some Kids were planning to do something to Laura, because they knew i was always around her and never allowed any one to do anything to her they planned it when i was absent in school one day and when she past and her then she literally broke each of their noses. I mean it was horrible to our parents but to us she was a hero. Vanny was a great person, you know what they always say, bad things always happen to good people." He said sighing, he had taken a seat with me on the ground of the driveway.

"And what about my dad- My birth day?" I asked "Was he cool?" 

A grinned immediately found dad's face again. "Riker....my brother was a character...he was pretty funny, i remember the day you were born , when we all went in to see you, Laura was always so energitic and began bursting with ideas that the two of you would have now that she was an aunt and excitedly, and Riker was like uh uh you ain't touchin g my daughter are something like that." Dad laughed causing me to laugh imagingin and picturing it in my mind.

"No, he said "Wow wow wow hold up wait a minutes let me out some rules in it." actually he sang it." My mom said behind us startling us.

She grinned before walkign over to us "Sorry of eavesdropping." she said before slowly comign down to her husband. dad helped her take a seat on his lap.  i mean that's love the concrete was hard......duh.

they shared a kiss before they both turned to me.

"Forget that tell me what it was like when i was born, like what were you two doing?, how did you find out, wht was happening?" I asked.

I was so curious I never really asked then about it. I was excited to find out.

dad turned to mom and smiled and whispered "You tell her." Before nuzzeling and hiding his face in her neck.

She grinned childishly.

Ugh Raura.

Somebody choke me.

"Ross stop you'll distract me." Mo giggled and blushed before pushing his head away.

Ughhhh

"Fine." He said before grinnign and turing to me.

I rolled my eyes then looked at the expectantly.

 "Well...."She began

 FLASH BACK (THIS IS LAURA TELLING THE STORY TO RILEY) 

CHAPTERS 4 & 5 OF MILD ONE WILD ONE (BOOK 1)

LAURA'S POV

Ross got suspended for two days for carrying out a fake emergency assembly meeting. which doesn't make any sense because today is Saturday and we finished off all our final exams and seniors don't have to go to school until we have a meeting for graduation,so it pretty much doesn't make any sense.

i was in my room staring at the ceiling, i had nothing to do,my mom and dad were both at so it was me alone at home. I vibrating sound on my desk caught my attention grabbing my phone i saw that i got a text from Ross

"wat r u doin?" -Other half

"staring at the ceiling,i think i saw santa :D .'- princess

'lolz,ofc u did, so ur not busy,wanna go get something to eat"-Other half

'can u plZ bring it, i kinda have a personal issue'- princess

'period?'-Other half

'uhuh..:'( -princess

'kool,ill be there in 15 mins' -Other half

15 minutes later ross showed up at my front door with A family size pizza, Coke and a gift bag full of chocolate.

"chocolate ! oh glory,ross you're the best." i said giving him a quick hug then running/walking up to my room.

"so we've got Blue lagoon,the 2012 version" ross said as he put it own for us to watch hoping into bed with me and grabbing a slice of pizza.

30 minutes into the movie and i was all over the pain becoming unbearable as tears flowed out of my eyes. 

Then ross grabbed me gently by my hips and took me into his lap,murmuring sweet things into my ear. "it's going to be okay babe just breathe."

 "i feel like i'm going to die ross i can literally feel it ripping my stomach here." i took his hands and placed it at the lower section of my tummy where the pain was.

 putting me to lie down like a baby in his arm; h lifted my top a little and his hand came into contact with my bear skin,gently rubbing the area where i ached, movie long forgotten.

 "you're okay sweety, you're okay."

 "ross?" i whispered tears flowing down my cheeks the pain slowly subsiding 

"yes?"

 "can you sing to me?" i asked ross's voice was my favorite in the whole world,it calmed me. smiling he began

By the time he finished the song there was almost no pain left.smiling up at him i snuggled into his chest and released a yawn. "i love you ross." i said reaching my hands to cup his cheek as he smiled down at me, "i love you too Laur,how are you feeling?" he asked placing his hands on my forehead "your skin was really hot like you where catching the fever. "oh no i'm okay it's all apart of the experience." i said dismissing him. the sudden ringing f his phone made me jump as ross grabbed it and putting it on speaker whispering that it's Riker. "w'sup bro?" ross said casually leaning back on the bed. "Ross you need to get laura now Vanessa's going into labor now!" the panicked rushed announcement of my brother-in-law made me spring into action the pain in my tummy beginning to rise again but i ignore it.My niece or my nephew was on their way, i could try and bear the pain for few hours. running around i grabbed me jeans and began pulling them up my legs while ross began panicking for his car keys "it's in your jeans pants idiot." i shouted to him as i grabbed my in case of emergency bag pack and placed it on my back. this was happening it really finally was happening. running down the stairs i made sure every electrical thing was turned off then locked the door and raced to the car where ross was waiting on me.

as we drive through my community i began getting all excited "oh my gosh,ross this is finally happening,it really is oh my god and i can't breathe." i said punching him in his arm.

 "yea and if you dont stop hitting me pretty soon both of us won't be breathing,calm down laur i'm driving." he said chuckling as we speed to the hospital.

 a police car went off signaling us to stop the car. " you have got to be kidding me right now." i said as ross bring down his window to face the cop. 

"young man do you have any idea how fast you were driving?" the cop said voice high pitched. 

"uh good day officer, um i'm sorry but it's an emergency, my sister-in-law is at the hospital and we-"ross tried explaining. 

"okay i've had a busy day and sense it's an emergency im gonna let you off with a warning,if it happens again,then you know what.drive safe."he said slapping the car and walking away. 

"oh thank god he was generous for all he knows we could be serial killers" i said laughing as we drive away. 

"Laura with that cute adorable face of yours no one,and i mean no one will ever believe you are a serial killer." he said glancing at me quickly. 

"well you know what they say looks are deceiving."

  Four whole hours we've been in the hospital and i have not yet once heard are seen any single detail of my niece or nephew,i'm physically and mentally freaking out because i hear Vanessa's screams even her cursing poor girl in so much pain she doesn't even care about the kids in here.

 i was pacing around the waiting room,my mom and ross's mom inside there with riker and vanessa, ross was stretched off on the chairs reading a book as i bit my finger nails nervously.

"you know if you continue doing that one, you won't have any finger nails left,and two,you'll lose weight and you already barely have on your bones.Laura please sit and calm down everything is going to be fine." ross said looking up from his book assuring me 

"so why haven't anyone come out to tell us anything,why is she screaming so much?" i asked my eyes widening even more as another ear piercing scream was released from vanessa "oh God ross." i mumbled 

"Laura,i don't know if you've heard but there's something called a contraction during pregnancy it is very painful,or she's probably pushing now, it's going to be fine" he said smiling up at me. 

then there was nothing,no screaming,no shouting,no crying,no nothing. 

then the sound of heels clicking on the tiled floor was heard,coming into view was my mother with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes. "It's a girl!" she said/scream running up to me as we both began screaming.

you could just imagine two crazy females shouting ,laughing and screaming in the waiting room until a nurse came out and told us to tune down.

 "oh my god really,how is she?" ross asked coming up to us. 

"the baby is fine they both are fine although she gave us a scare,she wasn't crying when she came out,then when she felt riker touch she eventually did,then vanessa lost alot of blood but they are both okay" my mom said smiling

 "oh great when can we see them?" 

"any minute now,come lets go." my mom said leading the way as i grabbed ross's had hand began bouncing my way to my sister. 

Vanessa was a wild mess, sweat dripping down her face, her hair like as if a tornado went straight through it as she looked at her husband who was on the ground breathing heavy.

 "what's going on man." ross chuckled at his brother bending down to talk to him. 

"Ross,oh my god man, never have kids dude, i was at the brink of getting a aneurysm and vanessa began choking me, It was horrible,horrible i tell you, but then it got okay i have a daughter! but that doesn't take away the fact that my wife almost killed me." he said rubbing his throat making everyone laugh, even Vanessa who was mini glaring at him 

"i love you." she whispered smile 

"yea?i'm thinking you forgot that a few moments ago." riker said glaring at her in his funny way making everybody laugh again.

 Then everyone was left in utter amazement as the Princess herself was placed in vannesa's arms fully dressed and snuggled in her pink polka dot blanket. 

"Oh my god she's beautiful." i whispered tears coming to my eyes just the my dad and ross's dad mark walked in the room we all surrounded them as riker took a sit next to his wife on the bed

 "Oh god i'm crying my first grand-baby." Stormie ross's mom said tears flowing down her cheeks in utter joy. 

"What's her name?" ross asked smiling at Vanessa

 "Riley,Riley Adalia Lynch." Riker said a proud smile on his face as he gave his wife a quick kiss on the lips.

 "she's so beautiful."i gushed getting all giddy inside. "oh my gosh, i'm going to be the best aunt ever fyi we're gong to have spa dates, we'll go shopping, ride bicycles, go to the amusement park,go on trips-" i began bouncing on my spot as i started listing the things me and my niece were going to do but of course got interrupted,by Riker

 "Wow wow wow hold up wait a minutes let me out some rules in it." he sang shaking hi head, one hand held up in a stop position as his blonde hair shake on his head just like ross's does. 

"you will-"i began but was interrupted by his wife "Riker stop it you know that laura s a very trustworthy and capable individual o don't be rude" 

pouting he said "b-but babe..."

 "no buts" she said caressing her child's soft cheeks.

"What is this conversation even about it started with laura going all crazy then you two got involved,i'm so lost, sometimes i feel like i'm the only normal person when i'm with you guys,you're just weird." ross said leaning on the wall feet plait at the end one hand shoved in his pocket while the other moved about with everything he said. 

"shut it we are special people."i argued back.

 and it was true normally we' have conversations that made no sense we didn't even know what we'd be saying we'd just talk random bull.  

By the end of the story i was between laughing and crying.

My family was crazy. 

this was the first tie my parents had even spoke about this.

"Wow, you guys were crazy." i laughed wiping my cheeks from fallen tears.

My mom was crying when she finishing the story, but it was hard to tell because it was a mixture of tears and laughter just like me and dad kissed away all her tears wrapping her up in his arms.

"Yeah, we were." she sniffed then began crying. 

Dad hugged her and told her it's okay.

i smiled.

I loved my family.
