Meanwhile later on that evening at the sun was starting to set, outside of the city was a mysterious cloaked being taking a long look at the city in front of him.

The wind blew its hood off to reveal himself to be a teenage boy with dark green spiky hair with a low ponytail, blue lion like eyes with cross scars underneath them, and wearing an army-green coat with ripped-off sleeves over a tattered black shirt that exposes his abdomen, brown belt with a large silver buckle, brown fingerless gloves with a black bandage on his right wrist, brown boots, and beige cargo pants. His name is Kyoya Tategami.

Kyoya is mainly known as a blader who is a person who is in a special technique called Beyblade and owns a Bey that represents zodiac signs and their spirit animals. But Kyoya is no ordinary Blader as he is known as the Lion Blader for his status of him owning a Lion spirited bey known as Rock Leone gifted with powerful skills and abilities that makes him one of the strongest bladers ever. Only he is the second strongest.

You see a while back, Kyoya used to be the leader of a group of bladers called the Face Hunters who would cause trouble to innocent bladers, wether it's forcing their victims in unfair battles and stealing their points or just to cause problems for everyone to prove they are the best. Until one blader named Gingka Hagane had defeated the Face Hunters and even Kyoya. Since then, Kyoya has been training nonstop in order for him to grow stronger and more powerful to defeat his rival. But no matter how hard he tried, he still wasn't able to win, but that never stopped him.

After the events of both Battle Bladers and the World Championships, Kyoya had gone on a solo training journey to become even stronger than Gingka so that he could once win against him and finally claim the role of being the strongest blader. Which is why Kyoya was here in New York right now.

"So, this is New York City, the place known as the city that never sleeps, huh?" Kyoya asked as he stared at the city view in front of him with a serious look. "I have to say, it looks a lot different than the other cities I've been to. But just because it's different doesn't mean there aren't bladers living there either."

Kyoya then took out his bey Rock Leone out of his pocket and stared down at it. "I know there is a blader somewhere in there. I can feel it. And I bet you can too, right Leone?" He asked before he watched his bey glow green as if it was speaking to him and smirked. "Yeah, you know I can always rely on you, old buddy."

Rock Leone glowed brighter which made Kyoya form a small smile on his face at his partner. After another moment, the dark green haired teenager put his bey back in his pocket before he started to enter the city to begin his search.

About a half hour passed and Kyoya had been exploring the whole city looking for anything susupicious while on the hunt for the mystery blader. But so far no luck. After a while of searching, Kyoya decided to take a break and was now up on the rooftops to take a better look around as he could see the city above him.

As he did, Kyoya has a while to think about his previous adventures back in Japan from the moment when he became leader of the Face Hunters to when he became the leader of Team Wild Fang for the World Championships. Kyoya has come so far in his life journey and he was willing to have more coming for him.

"Huh, the view up here has the same distance view as the city back home. Makes it a good advantage to spot bladers easier." Kyoya said to himself while staring down at the city below before watching the sun setting on the horizon. "The only difference is this place is much bigger than I thought that it's gonna be tricky to find any suspicious activity at all. But I won't let that stop me. I can't let it. After all, I can't let 'her' down."

For a moment, as he is watching the sunset and the sky getting darker, you could see Kyoya do something that nobody ever saw him do. He formed a soft expression as he touched the purple pendant that was around his neck before his serious expression came back.

"No matter what, I will not rest until I find this mystery blader and defeat him. And then I'll finally be strong enough to defeat Gingka and Pegasus the next time we meet." Kyoya spoke seriously as he narrowed his eyes. "And nothing is gonna change that for me at all."

Soon, the sun had finally set and the sky was now dark with the stars shining in the night sky with the moon coming out.

"I suppose I should find a place to stay and get some rest. After all, even bladers need their energy to win a fight." Kyoya said before he turned around and soon left the rooftops to find a place to stay for the time.

However did Kyoya will soon discover is that he will learn that there is more in life than just competition and winning battles. And a certain red and orange haired teenager will soon teach him that. The same red and orange haired teenager who might be the one to change his life for the better.
