I open my eyes. "Where am I?" I mumble to myself. I can feel something on my neck. I reach up to try and check what it is but the moment I see my "hand" I stop. That is not a hand. I stare at it for a moment. "What the...What is this!?"
I have a paw. It's not too big, decently small in fact and is white. I look around. Beside me is a purple panther with a collar on its neck and a dinosaur thing with the very same collar. The collars are a vibrant cyan, each having a black circle with a glowing, pale red symbol that sort of resembles an hourglass. Perhaps that's what's on my neck. The dinosaur is sitting on the ground, its gaze fixed on this one area, a thoughtful expression on its face. None of us speak for a while, until the panther eventually decides to end the slightly awkward silence.
"So, what now? I'm Panther, by the way."
"Panther?" I ask. Perhaps I had misheard. Surely Fred wouldn't put us all together, right?
"Yeah, so?"
"I'm Woolfster!"
"You are?" he questions.
"Would I lie?"
"I dunno, maybe?"
"Thanks for trusting me." I mumble sarcastically.
"Can you two shut up? You're doing nothing but annoying me with that racket! And before either of you imbeciles ask, yes, I am Dino." the dinosaur snaps
"Oh, hey Dino!" Panther says.
"Did you not hear what I just said?" Dino snarls.
"Oh yeah. Anyways, should we try to escape?"
"We already tried and failed, why do you think this will go any better?" I point out.
"Well, what else could Fred and Nara possibly do?"
"Take away our ability to speak?" I suggest.
"Or just murder us, I wouldn't put it past them." Dino adds.
"Well if they somehow take away our ability to speak we use sign language-"
"None of us know sign language." Dino cuts in. "And what if they kill us? Then what?"
"Then we go to heaven! I'm sure it's better than here!"
"And if we don't want to help you escape?" I ask.
"Then you don't get freedom." Panther responds.
"Fine, I'm in." I agree.
"I don't have a choice, do I? I guess I'll help." Dino mutters.
"That's the spirit!" the purple panther shouts with a smile. "You've got a plan, right?"
"Not yet but if you give me some time I could-" Dino stopped talking when he spotted Fred walking towards our cage.
"Greetings. Nara and I have decided to run a little...experiment on you three. You see, this lab is about creating the perfect human but what if there's something better? What if animals are superior to us? That's where you three come in. You have been transformed into animals and we will release you but those collars you are wearing play a big part in this. You see, we're testing animals, not humans and animals don't act like humans. Those collars shall slowly give you the instincts of the creature you have become. Good luck, subjects!"
With that, a guard came and let us out before more guards came and dragged us out of the building. We were free! But would it be worth it?

Bit short, sorry about that. Anyways the new plot has been introduced! And Woolf is now a white wolf because I didn't think it was fair for him to get human qualities when the others didn't.
