Arjun Mehra pov

I was busy reading the documents of my new project when a tingling sound grabbed my attention. I looked at the laptop screen from the corner of my eyes and ignored the notification when the realisation hit me. The tracker was activated.

"Sairam, in my cabin " I disconnected the landline after calling for my secretary. He hurried towards my cabin immediately after receiving my message.

"The tracker which we plotted for dev dixit is activated. But the location is showing Amazon forest. Strange I want the report of his current position"

Sairam was one of the oldest members of my business life.  He knew me inside and out.

"Sir, Mr.dixit is currently off from the business area. I guess we must grab this opportunity and proceed towards the Japan deal " he advised me. I narrowed my eyes thinking about dev dixit taking his step back. What was that man planning now?

"Why is he off? "

Hs hesitated and tried to bounce the topic away when I ordered him to fill the blanks.

"Sir, his wife is kidnapped. Some personal matters sir. "

"Wife is kidnapped and dev dixit in Amazon jungle.  Is he planning to be a Saint now?" I laughed imagining my rival in orange sage attire.

"No sir dev dixit is in New York trying to track his wife. "

"What then how is the tracker activated in Amazon," I asked him

"The pendant we used to track him. I guess he gifted it to his wife and we have the location of his wife. "

A smile made its way on my face as I registered the whole situation. Interesting. I love to piss dev dixit off. And talking about his wife she was one of the dearest bears in his life.

"Make my jet ready we are picking Mrs.dixit "

"But sir "

"She is in danger right?" He nodded his head with a scowl on his face. Not his fault, he hates dev because of the coffee I threw at him whenever I close a deal with him.

"Then lets your boss be the hero of the scene "

We reached the forest of Amazon forest and I couldn't hold my excitement to meet Mrs.dixit. dev hates me so much that he didn't invite me in his marriage.  He thought I will steal his precious gem. My dearest competition dev I will be the hero of your life. I smirked moving along the tracked destination.

"Sir be alert.  We can have a company here. According to my sources, a kidnapper is an unstable man. "

'Well, you know how to deal with unstable people. Your boss is the one "

I chuckled while he seemed embarrassed to me. Why? I cracked a joke man.

"Sir, we are near to the golden opportunity.  My debut as a hero here I come "

I moved slowly and steadily towards the tree which was the last destination according to the tracker. One of my men walked fast and stopped in his track looking at something in particular.

I followed his vision and looked at the scene in front of me. A woman was sitting near a man who was groaning in pain. She was crying continuously and stabbing him in different parts muttering some incoherent words. Sairam was about to move towards the lady when I signalled him to stop the woman was undergoing a mental trauma currently.

I moved towards the woman and placed my hand on her shoulder. She immediately turned around attempting to sink the knife in my stomach. I stopped her in the middle of the tracks and registered her tears stricken face. She was beautiful in a very way. Her beautiful doe eyes were swollen due to over crying. She looked at me and tried to remove herself from my hold.

"Sir tell her who you are " I heard Sairam from my back advising me to do the next step.

"Mrs Dixit I am here to help you "

"I dont believe you. Get lost from here before I kill you "

"Mrs Dixit I am your husband 's dearest friend. Trust me. " I said grabbing the knife from her hand smartly and throwing it away.

She stood silently and cried hard looking at the man who was in a dying position. I signalled one of my men to check the man lying on the ground.

"Let him die he deserves to die " she screamed scaring the shit out of Sairam.  He pulled the man back and advised him to stack back. I looked at her heavily breathing figure and half torn clothes. Her cleavage was on full display as her top was torn from the left side, her lacy red bra peeping from inside. I removed my jacket and placed it around her shoulders. She gave me a confused expression and looked at the jacket.

"My men will take care of your criminal Mrs.dixit. let me take you to the doctor "

"Give me your phone  " she snarled at me. I handed her my phone and dialled her husband's number.

The line ringed for a few minutes and went dead.

"He is not picking. He will be busy in tracking you. You can take my phone and dial his number numerous times. Now please get into the jet "

She tried to take her decision thinking about my proposal for a few minutes. Hugging my jacked tightly she took my phone and nodded her head in approval.

"Get the plane ready Sairam " I ordered my dearest secretary. 

"Ok sir "  he chanted and placed a handkerchief on the girl's mouth. She tried to push him away but soon chloroform reacted and she fell into a deep slumber. I carried her in my arms to the plane and smirked thinking about dev dixit.

" Sir what are you planning to do? " Sairam asked me as he sat beside me.

"Just playing with dev dixit. Call the doctor and tell him to be at my home. I want Mrs Dixit to be treated well "

Once we reached home I placed her on my bed and ordered the doctor to check her.

"Minor injuries and mental illness," he said. I nodded and dismissed him. Sitting beside her I removed the few strands of her hairs. She was continuously murmuring someone's name. Well, my beloved mate's name. Dev. Dev.

I dialled his secretary 's number and waited for her to reply.

"Leela Arya speaking from Dixit Corporations. How can I help you? "

"Hello, Leela baby. This is Arjun Mehra. Can I have a chat with your boss "

"I am sorry sir but Mr Dixit is busy. "

"What about telling him that I know about his wife's whereabouts. "

I could hear the running sound, as her heels kissed the floor hungrily.

"Dev sir, its Arjun sir he knows about Mrs.dixit. "

Dev's pov

I was busy trying to track to Sonakshi. Two days without her were like residing in hell. After getting Sayali and Alishka back I wanted my love to be with me. I was tracking her for the past 26 hours. But nothing was in our hands. Lakshya was so smart. When Leela came running and told me about Arjun knowing about Sonakshi. I immediately snatched the phone from her. He called him once but I ignored him as I know how big jerkass he is.

"Hello " I breathed trying to be calm.

"My house right now. Your wife is sleeping. He sang.

" what happened dev " Karthik tapped my shoulder asking me about the situation.

"Arjun has Sonakshi "

"And you are trusting that man "

I turned and looked at him.  Tears spilt from my eyes as I patted his shoulder.

"There is no hope. And his sentence made me feel a ray peeping from the dark. Let me see what he has. " he nodded and we drove towards the bastard's house. Arjun and I were enemies from the starting.  Because of business, we both hated each other' presence. He tried his level best to annoy me till my last breath.  And I just ignore him every time. I wished that his sentence was true. I was in desperate need to hug my love tightly.

I parked the car in his parking lot and looked at his secretary grinning at me.

"I will kill your boss if this news is fake " I held his collard and threatened him

"Boss would have never called you. But the doctor advised him to do it. She is inside "

I was about to run inside when I heard a small tug to my pants. I looked down and found Alishka, manik's daughter looking at me.

"Mumma, " she asked me pointing towards the entrance of his house. I smiled through my tears and nodded at her she flew her arms in the air asking me to take her towards the lady whom she assumes as her mother.

God, not for me but for the little child. I prayed. I met Alishka yesterday when lakshya sent two people away according to the deal. I expected Sonakshi to come but I faced this little soul who was kept in darkness for three years. She was scared of everyone in the house except me and Sayali. She was the one who wiped my tears saying her Mumma loves me. She was the child of Natasha who was killed by her brother and manik who cut his wrist in the police station unable to take the pain.  His last wish was happiness for his daughter. I saw his face when he told me that he wants the best life for his daughter.  And I instantly gave in looking at the dying man. 

I moved inside with Alishka who was looking for his mother. One of the servants guided me upstairs.  I walked towards the door and closed my eyes praying for the wellbeing of my wife.

"Mumma " Alishka shouted happily and I opened my eyes to find my baby lying unconscious on the bed and that piece of scum bag sitting beside her.

"You have a daughter.  Wow, dixit " that jerk smirked looking at me. He was eyeing Alishka weirdly while I felt protecting the baby from this devil 's eyes. 

Alishka was shaking Sonakshi trying to wake her up.

"Oh, the baby she is sleeping. The doctor injected her " Alishka looked at Arjun and kicked with her small feet in his stomach. He made a fake sound and stumbled back. That's my girl.

"Stay away from my Mumma. I will kick you "

"I am scared lady don " he made a fake scared look and I pulled Alishka back she rolled her little lips out and pointed at Sonakshi. How adorable she is!

"I am taking my wife and  I want to have a civil conversation with you tomorrow," I said pointing at Arjun. He pouted and nodded his head. 

I picked Sonakshi in my arms and hugged her tightly trying to calm my beating heart. Alishka held my pant and walked with me.

Karthik and Sayali stood outside. I looked at Sayali who cried snuggling in Karthik's chest looking at Sonakshi. While Karthik took Alishka in her arms. I was happy snd content to have Sonakshi with me. My fight with Arjun was another thing but what he did for me today was a godly behaviour.  I will thank him tomorrow. Now I want to focus on my baby and the other baby who was kissing Sonakshi's face continuously.

I said this will be the last chapter but I need to explain certain things so one chapter is remaining. Then the epilogue.
