Ragini sensed the heat in the atmosphere since Sonakshi and dev came back in the middle of their honeymoon. Sonakshi was angry and hurt while dev he was ignoring Sonakshi. Things were getting difficult for both of them. Her college was eating her up and dev he was busy in the office and handling the Manik situation.

"Dev, you and Sonakshi are newly married. But you don't behave like one. What is wrong between you too? Her exams are on the bay. I want you to make things right between you too and help her to cope up with her studies. She needs you. Everything can wait but Sonakshi can't. She is your wife "

"Mom everything is complicated. Sonakshi she is not trying to understand. "

"How many hours you spent on Sonakshi. How many hours you spent talking to her. Did you try to make her understand? Never why would you be your male ego coming in between? "

Dev looked at her mother and denied her questions. He was ashamed but he was tied in a promise.

Sonakshi tried to understand everything sayali said. She is married now she must behave maturely. Manik screamed trouble. He was always trouble. But dev he was always bliss to her. But the culprit thing it was making her go insane. Dev is trying to save her from something but he can't tell her. He must have his reasons. Why was she judging him? He never judged her then why she was judging. But he shouted at her. He was mean. He deserves it.

"Well let's go home. I have to complete this assignment which you have completed. The one who is married is you but it's me who is wasted "

She giggled and shook my head bearing her best friends rant. She completed her assignments because she was angry on Dev. They used to sit together on the same table but his face turned right and her turned to the left. He busy in his work she busy in her work. Just the silent tension lingering between both. Today she will try to talk to him.

Coming out of the college she saw hustle and bustle of students. Girls were whispering and gossiping about something and boys where they were glaring and doing some other stuff.

"Who planted life inside our dead college? " sayali chuckled checking her books.

"Nina, what is wrong? " I asked Nina who was standing with Kripa talking about something.

"There are two hot guys on the college campus. Some people are saying that they are the new trustees. "

"Hot guys. A piece of meat. Sonakshi let's go! Let's eat our dish " sayali pulled Sonakshi with her towards the two super-famous guys.

"The hell this is our public. This is dev and Karthik. " she sighed defeated.

Karthik was the first one who noticed our presence. He smiled and waved at us while I returned the gesture. He looked at sayali and an expression we called as lust passed in his eyes. I looked at sayali who possessed the same expression. Something is going on and I am totally clueless about it. I was about to ask sayaali when a pair of red roses appeared in front of me. It was dev. What the fuck. My husband taking the initiative.

"I came to pick you up. Would you like to go on a ride with me? " he bowed in front of me like a true gentleman. Sayali giggled and pushed me by my arm towards him. He caught me and smiled at me. His eyes shone brightly under the sun it seemed everything was fine between us.

"Someone had a fight. " sayali teased us.

"Well, sayali I will drop you home. Let the love birds have some privacy " sayali hooked her hand in Karthik's bicep and waved a bye to both of them.

"Sayali and Karthik are having a thing. He hinted me today " dev said trying to answer Sonakshi's unasked question.

"I want to go home " she muttered and made her way towards his car. He sighed in defeat. Long journey dev.

Sonakshi hurried towards his car. She hated unwanted attention. And everyone was busy in gossiping about them. She liked how dev tried to ease things between them. But those people made it uncomfortable.

"My baby is at home " ragini sang from the kitchen and Sonakshi giggled looking at her mother in law.

"Hello mom " she greeted.

"Hello to you too my daughter. I missed you. " she smiled at her and soon they both were busy in their usual talking session.

After fifteen minutes realisation hit herm dev left them. Was he again angry?

"Sonakshi - "

"Mumma I want to make things right between dev and me," she said looking down.

Ragini smiled at her Sonakshi and hugged her. caressing her back she kissed her forehead lovingly.

"I am so proud of you. Dev has his reasons Sonakshi. Please trust him. Love is not important trust is. Give him a chance. Now go upstairs and talk to him "

Sonakshi entered her room only to find it empty where was he.

"Dev " she called out for him. A pair of hand hugged her from behind, she rested her body in his embrace and allowed her tears to fall. she missed him.

"I am sorry. I am sorry for shouting at you. I am sorry for hiding things from you. I am a bad husband. I know. Please try to understand Sonakshi. "

She turned towards him and wiped her tears.

"Just tell me one thing. I am ready to give you some time but promise me once you handle the situation you will tell me. I have the right dev. "

He cupped her face in his hands and pecked her lips gently.

"I promise. Whatever Manik said it's true. You are in danger. Your dad and I are trying to save you. I can't tell you further because things are not easy. Please understand. Only trust me, your dad and Karthik about this situation. Don't trust anyone ok. " he whispered in her ear silently.

She laughed and ran upstairs towards the passage attached to their room where he had his personal gym and a luxurious swimming pool with well maintained and modern stylish stuff and a chair clearance swing bistro.

Dev followed her while she ran upstairs, her long last precious giggles filled the atmosphere with joy. she was enjoying ment of her from the day she was hooked with him. he was her charm she ran gathering all energy she had. while he securely caged her between his arms. she was sandwiched between him and the wall. She pecked him lightly and distracted him.

Their breaths danced together with the giggles. Forgetting the fight between them. they just wanted to cherish the moment. he smirked looking at her while she was busy in giggling. his hands travelled from her waist to her backless back, sending shivers around her. she gaped at him. while he stared sexily in her eyes. damn, he is not less than a Greek God how dark chocolate eyes were making her go all crazy. she shivered when his hands caressed her back playing with the side zips of her top. he neared towards her ear blowing ample amount of air in her ear, he whispered

" Change into your comfy clothes wifey. something awesome is waiting for you there. "

He pointed at the terrace. while she looked at him with confused expressions. his hands were still playing dirty games around her neck and waist.

" What...is it..." She stammered

" Something may be a surprise"

Sonakshi came out of the washroom after changing into a white crop top paired with grumpy shorts adding more essence to her cuteness. he blindfolded her suddenly scaring the shit out of her.

" Dev, what are you "

"Shhh! not now we have the whole night to chit and chat. Just follow me "

She walked ahead only to stumble due to her blind vision. he held her securely. She held his hand tightly trusting him.

That sleeping arrangement in the open air under the stars excited her inner child so much. The arrangement in front of her was magnificent.

She looked at dev who had already taken his place. he eyed her join him. she smiled and nodded at him accommodating herself beside him. she looked lovingly at him studying his features caressing his face, in this few days the thing which she loved most was his gestures. his small gestures was enough for her to praise him. She was greedy. She was selfish. And she was all this just for him. For her husband.

"So let's start it. I am sorry again. I promise to cherish you forever. I wanted to make it up to you and google suggested me this. "

"So everything is because of Google "

" Yup " He scratched the back of his neck smiling sheepishly at him.

She smiled and hugged him. He hugged her back holding her securely in her arms.

"Did mom know about this? "

"Yes, she was the one who helped me to arrange this. Well, Karthik too helped me. She wanted to make things right between us "

She smiled looking at the stars. Soon something admired her neck. She looked down only to find a beautiful pendant around her neck. He tied the chain of the pendant and grinned at her. Holding the pendant in her hands she looked at him.

"This is for you. A long time ago I visited an auction this was the masterpiece, I mean the most precious thing. I don't know why I bought it. But now I know why? This was for you. This precious belongs to you, your face flashed in front of my eyes looking at this. So this is for you baby. My most precious diamond. "
