they know you walk like you're a god. they can't believe i made you weak
WEEKS LATER, Victoria and Eric has been working on the Stackhouse's home. Over the time, the house was cleared of all vines, dirt, blood, and any other things that weren't suppose to be in a home. And once all that was done, the house was repainted, inside and out, and the porch was turned into a wrap-around porch with a porch swing, amongst other outside decorations.
After finally finishing the last product; their room that they were going to share which was connected to a smaller room for their child, the couple decided they needed a little break. So, they decided to go visit Fangtasia once night fell.
Seeing as Eric was the only of his type of vampire to have a daylight ring, he needed to make sure no one else knew. Because if other vampires new, there might be a war between species, and they didn't want that to happen. Though, they were making an exception for Pam and Godric seeing as those were the only type A vampires the gang trusted with daylight rings.
Walking into Fangtasia, everyone turned to watched Eric Northman walk in with his fiancé — not that they knew that — and gaped in awe.
Eric met Pam's eyes and gestured to his office, and she was quick to follow them into the medium sized office.
Once the door was closed, Tori walked towards Pam with a wide smile on her beaming face, and held out a ring. It was a nice ring with a red stone in the middle that looked like blood. "This is for you. I hope you like it."
Pam rose a row at the human before slowly taking the ring and placing it on her finger. "What is this for?"
"So you can walk in the sun." Tori grinned when Pam gaped at her in confusion and excitement. "My friend Bonnie made ones for Eric and Godric, so we know they work. Theirs is a little plain, but I knew that you would like yours to be pretty and extravagant. So, I went with something that looked like your favorite thing; blood. I hope you like it."
Pam watched the human with wide eyes before she smiled and pulled Tori into a hug that surprised all three of them. Quickly pulling away, Pam cleared her throat and smoothed down her leather dress. "Thank you, darling."
Eric wrapped his arm around his fiancé's waist, pulling her closely. "Do not tell anyone, Pam. Our lives depend on it.
She nodded. "Of course." She then glanced between them with furrowed brows. "Something is different about the both of you. I can't quite put my finger on it." Tilting her head to the side, she watched them carefully before a second heartbeat could be heard. Gasping loudly, she looked down at Tori's stomach. "It's a baby!"
Eric chuckled as he watched his childe look down at his lovers stomach. "Yes. She's currently pregnant. And it's a girl."
"How is this possible?!" Pam shouted before sighing and running her hand through her hair, fixing a curl. "This is crazy, Eric!"
"We got a sperm donor, so do not fret, Pam." Eric rolled his eyes at her, and then smiled down at Tori with fondness in his blue eyes. "And I'm fine with it not being mine, if that's your next question. I would do anything to keep the love of my life happy."
Tori stood on her tippy-toes and planted a kiss on her fiancée lips. "And I would do anything to keep you happy, kärlek." Love.
Over the course of the weeks, Eric has been teaching Tori some Swedish, which she seems to pick up easier than he thought she would. She just keeps surprising him every day and he loves it. It's like unwrapping a present more and more until you get to the amazing thing hidden beneath it all.
Pam groaned. "You two are disgustingly cute." She rolled her eyes and turned to leave the office. But, before she fully made it out of the door, she called out, "Oh, and congratulations on the engagement!" And then she was gone.
Tori smirked up at Eric once Pam was gone and the door was shut. "You know what I have always wanted to do?"
He hummed, wrapping both arms around her waist, hands going to her ass. "And what is that?"
She smirked and began lowering her hand from his chest. "Att knulla på ditt kontor." To fuck in your office.
Before the words were fully out of her mouth, she was picked up, and was laying on his desk which he has just cleared off, everything flying onto the floor.
ROUGHLY TWO HOURS later, they were on their way back home. Eric had his hand on Tori's thigh, caressing her with his thumb, and she gazed lovingly over at him.
Her hair was now pulled up in a ponytail due to it being knotty and sweaty because of their time in the office.
Grinning at him as they pulled up into driveway to the house, she gripped his hand on her thigh and squeezed it. He looked over at her and winked which had her chuckling before facing the front.
Something in their front yard made Tori's heart stop beating momentarily. "Stop!" She shouted at the top of her lungs before opening up the passenger door, and running towards the porch. "Sookie?!" She exclaimed and came to a stop in front of the blonde. "Are you — are you really here right now?"
Sookie frowned as she walked down from her place on the porch. "What do you mean? I was just gone for an hour at the most."
Tori swallowed thickly and glanced to her side at Eric. "Am I hallucinating?"
Eric shook his head and grabbed her hand gently, giving it a squeeze to prove she wasn't dreaming. "No. You're not."
Sookie looked between them with furrowed brows. "What are you guys going on about? It's as if someone died." Her eyes widened and she gasped. "Did someone die?!"
Tori let go of her fiancés hand and slowly stepped towards her cousin. "Sookie... you haven't been gone for an hour." She paused dramatically and grabbed the blonde's hands. "You've been gone for four months."
Sookie gaped at the brunette and shook her head over and over again. "No. It only seemed like an hour. I... I don't understand. There is no way I was gone that long."
Tori gave the blonde a soft look. "Sook... it's true. I mean, look at the house. Look at me." The house looked completely different than it did before she disappeared. And her stomach was slightly bulging now, but not too much seeing as she's only a month and a half pregnant.
Sookie looked behind her at the house, noticing the obvious difference. She then glanced back at her cousin, narrowing her eyes, trying to find any difference. Other then Eric and her being closer than they were before she left, she didn't notice anything. Well, that was before she saw the ring on her left hand. And with that knowledge, she saw how Tori was positively glowing and was a little bit thicker than she was before.
Gasping loudly, she exclaimed, "You're married and pregnant?!"
Tori chuckled and shook her head which made Sookie release a breath. "Yes, I'm pregnant, but we're not married yet." And with that, Sookie was gaping again. "A lot has happened in the four months you have been gone, but trust me, we have tried everything in our power to find you. But you just disappeared like you were blinked out of existence."
Tears began to build in the blonde's eyes before she stumbled backwards and had to sit down on a step. "I can't believe this."
Suddenly, a whoosh of wind hit everyone, and Bill was standing in front of Sookie with a shocked expression. "Sookie."
"No," Tori immediately said and shook her head. "Leave. Get off my property."
Sookie stood up and stood in front of Bill with a tilt of her head. "I don't know why you're here, Bill. I have told you how I feel about everything you did, and you still come running back to me. I will always have feelings for you Bill, but I can't be with you anymore. And I just realized that I have been gone longer than I thought, and I need to get my bearings. That doesn't include you."
Bill was shocked and he stayed there in the same spot for a few seconds before speeding away.
Eric smirked and clapped his hands. "And now that the trash has taken itself out, how about we go in, and explain everything."
Sookie nodded in appreciation for Eric trying to help, and they all walked into the newly decorated house.
