"So, how did you two like the aquarium?" The woman asked the two males accompanying her. "It was great, (Y/N)! What was your favorite part?"

"Mine was probably the touch tanks, the horseshoe crabs were super cute! Did you know that they have blue blood, and that their blood is very valuable, and has medicinal purposes such as fighting off bacteria." The woman stated proudly. "I did not, thats interesting." Kakyoin said.

"Yeah, I didn't either..." The girl trailed off, her eyes wide. "I don't know where i learned that from or that i even knew that..."

Jotaro shrugged. "You probably read it somewhere and forgot about it." His attempts at trying to reassure the girl didnt go unnoticed. She smiled warmly at Jotaro, as their eyes met. He pulled his hat down. "Yare Yare..." He began.

'Dont look at me like that... It makes my heart race. And i love that. I hate that I love it...' The ravenette thought. "Hmm? look at you like what?" (Y/N) asked, innocently.

"I didnt say anything." Jotaro said, as his eyes darted to the girl. "Are you sure youre feeling alright, (Y/N)?" Kakyoin asked, his brow furrowed in worry.

'Please dont let her relapse. I dont want to spend another moment in that hospital. She looked so fragile and I cant see her like that again.'

"Kakyoin, I'm fine. And I dont want to go back to the hospital either. It was so boring there, I couldnt even talk to you two."

Kakyoins brows shot up. "I didnt say anything about the hospital (Y/N)."

The girl creased her brow in confusion. "Yes you did. You said I looked fragile. But I'm fine." She looked at Jotaro pointedly, but he only furrowed his brow.

'(Y/N)... is she... alright?'

'shes lost it...'

"I'm fine! How many times do I have to tell you Kakyoin?! And I most certainly have not 'lost it', Jotaro! If this is some kind of prank youre trying to pull on me, it isnt funny." She yelled at the two men, her arms folded over her chest, as she glared at them in an accusatory manner.

The two males looked at each other, a dumbfounded look spread across their features.

"Did you just... read our minds?" Kakyoin asked, as he motioned between himself and Jotaro. "No? I heard you say those words. Besides, mind reading isnt real." She swatted the air, as if she were swatting away the idea.

"You didnt think Stands were real either, until you obtained one." Jotaro pointed out. "Touche" (Y/N) responded.

"Lets test this theory. Jotaro, are you able to clear your mind for a few seconds?" Kakyoin asked his classmate. The male nodded, and closed his eyes.

'(Y/N)...'

"Yeah?" Kakyoin gaped at the girl, his cheeks flushed. Jotaro opened his eyes, and glanced between the two of them. "You can read minds! Or hear peoples thoughts." Kakyoin covered his mouth with his hand, and looked away, the red still spread across his cheeks, as it slowly climbed up to his ears. "Whats wrong, Kakyoin?" (Y/N) asked, as she placed her hand on the mans arm. "N-Nothing!" He basically shouted.

'I just dont want you to hear about how I think youre adorable and amazing. Ugh get your hand off my arm! No! leave it there, your touch feels nice. I wonder what itd feel like to hold (Y/N)s hand... are they as soft as they look?'

The girls face slowly grew red, hearing the words form in Kakyoins head. "I-I..."

Jotaro grabbed Kakyoin by the shoulder and spun him around. His aura dripped with anger, and face contorted into a scowl. "Oi, just what are you thinking about Kakyoin?!" The girls hand fell from Kakyoin, as she took a step back from the two.

'Hands off. Shes mine... Shes mine... Shes mine... Shes mine... Shes mine... Why can't she look at me the same way? I want her to notice me too. What does Kakyoin have that I dont? I can prove myself to you, (Y/N).'

Jotaro turned his head as he thought the girls name. Their eyes locked. She trembled. "I..."

The girl turned and ran, heading to her apartment. The males locked eyes, as Jotaro released Kakyoin. He pulled his hat down over his eyes once more. "Yare Yare..."

sorry for the long long wait, ive been trying to get back into writing, but i had a huge burn out, and then covid hit, and then work started back up. but i truly apologize.

this may be bad, and i may have made both of them ooc, but im trying. (lemme know in the comments so i can rewrite this if so)
