ACT TWO, CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
Every Single Word

EVEN THOUGH ANDI INSISTED THAT ISAAC DIDN'T BEAT UP ONE OF THE TWINS, Mr. Harris still gave him a lunchtime detention. There should've been no surprise there since Mr. Harris was most likely just looking for any reason to give a student detention even if they didn't actually do anything. At the end of the day, there was no point in arguing with him so Isaac would just have to go to detention and get it over with.

"I can't stand those guys," Isaac muttered under his breath as he closed his locker.

"Trust me, I don't either. I'm gonna try to keep an eye on them, hopefully keep them from stirring up more trouble," Andi said.

"How are you gonna do that without looking like a stalker? And you can't be sneaky about it since you can't hear their thoughts," Isaac pointed out. "And if a fight breaks out, how are you gonna defend yourself without magic?"

"If they couldn't tell I was lying, they probably truly think I am onto them. They might be looking over their shoulders, they might play it cool. And if they try something, I got some tricks up my sleeve. But right now, you gotta get to detention and I got two alpha werewolves to keep tabs on," Andi said and Isaac sighed as he walked to the classroom where his lunchtime detention was.

Andi sighed as she spotted the Twins heading to the cafeteria and headed there as well. They couldn't accuse her of stalking them because it was lunchtime so everyone was going to the cafeteria to eat something. When she did get there, she found them sitting at one of the tables and made sure to sit a couple of tables away from them so she wasn't too close. Unfortunately, she wasn't going to be able to hear anything they said or thought, but this way she could be sure that they weren't causing trouble for her friends. Anytime they looked in her direction, she looked away before they could catch her looking and acted as if she was just another student eating lunch. When she turned back around, the Twins were gone and her stomach dropped. She got up and threw out her garbage before hurrying out of the cafeteria to find the Twins. How could they be gone after she looked away for five seconds?

If only I could hear them.

She was rushing down the hallway when she heard screaming and started running to where it was coming from. She found the vending machine blocking the supply closet and she could hear someone screaming and banging on the door from inside. Andi recognized Isaac's voice screaming for help and rushed over and started pushing the vending machine away from the door.

"Isaac, hold on!" she said as she kept pushing and noticed Scott running towards her. "Help me move this thing!"

Scott started pulling the vending machine from the other side while Andi kept pushing. Once the door was cleared, Andi opened the door and saw Isaac holding Allison against the shelves while she was trying to fight him off. Scott rushed inside and pulled him away from her and held him down on the floor while he struggled. His eyes were yellow and his fangs were bared as Andi held his head still. She started whispering a bunch of words under her breath while she stared into his eyes as they turned back to their natural blue colour. She exhaled slowly as he calmed down while Scott checked on Allison who now had a bruise on her arm.

"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do that," Isaac apologized while Andi helped him sit up.

     "What happened?" Scott asked.

"We were sorting things out in the supply closet and someone closed the door and locked us inside and then Isaac started freaking out," Allison said while Andi ran her fingers through the hairs on the back of Isaac's neck to comfort him. "Look, it wasn't his fault."

"I think it was the Twins. I was keeping an eye on them in the cafeteria and they slipped out while I wasn't looking," she sighed.

"They don't just wanna get us angry, they want someone to get hurt," Scott said.

"Those boys are getting real bold. If Scott and I didn't come here when we did, Allison would be dead right now. This can't be a coincidence, something tells me they knew that Isaac would have an episode and attack her," Andi said.

"I don't think your threat worked," Isaac said while wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Doesn't mean we can't get back at them. I say we have some fun and play a little game," Andi said.

"What kind of game?" Scott asked as she stood up.

"Let's just say I got a few ideas. And we can start by getting them angry. Really angry," she said with a lopsided grin while her eyes flashed green for a split second. "Follow me."

She led the three of them out to the parking lot where they saw the two motorcycles that belonged to the Twins.

"Wait, what are we doing?" Isaac asked.

"They clearly love their bikes. I wonder what would happen if we messed around with them," Andi said with a conniving smile.

     "Which one?" Scott asked.

"Neither of the Twins are very rational but one of them is a little more likely to blow a gasket. So we piss off the one who is most definitely going to act on his anger," Andi replied as she walked over to the two motorcycles and placed her hands on both of them. She looked at the bike on her left and smiled. "This one."

"How are we gonna do this?" Allison questioned.

"Do you know anything about motorcycles?" Andi asked.

     "A bit," the brunette answered.

"Good. I need you to take out about two parts but still leave the bike able to be driven safely. Scott will bring those parts into English class where both the Twins will be and tease them, mostly the owner of this particular bike. By the time that twin acts out on his anger, Isaac will be driving the bike through the hallway. Everyone is going to come out of class to see what happened but we'll all be in the crowd watching while our little hothead realizes that he's been set up," Andi explained.

Everyone agreed and Allison started working on the bike. Once she took out a few parts, she gave them to Scott who went inside and she continued working on the motorcycle. The process of rewiring it in a few areas was taking a while and Isaac was just waiting to anger the Twins and get a little payback for the supply closet incident.

"How long is this gonna take?" he asked.

"Just about done," Allison said as she stood up and handed Isaac a helmet.

He got on the bike and she explained how to drive it while Andi stood right beside him with her hands on her hips. She grinned as Allison took a picture to send to Scott and Isaac put the helmet on and started driving off into the school.

"This will be fun," she said.

"Hey, Andi? Can I talk to you?" Allison asked and Andi looked at her.

     "Is it important?" she questioned.

"Sort of. Listen, I just wanted to apologize for what I said about your mother that day," the brunette said while Andi bit the inside of her cheek.

"Why should you be sorry? You were right anyway. My mother did send me away because of what I am," she said as she walked back into the school.

"It was still very insensitive of me to say that. I truly am sorry and I mean it," Allison said as she walked beside the little witch. "I'm not asking you to forgive me."

"Don't worry about it," Andi said sharply as she swallowed the lump in her throat.

This wasn't the time to get all upset. She could hear the engine of the bike as the plan was in motion and then it stopped and was followed by an angry voice telling Isaac to get off his bike. Students started walking into the hallway to see what was going on and the girls stood beside Scott while Isaac joined them and stood right beside Andi. Ms. Blake walked out and saw the motorcycle inside the school and the boy who owned it.

"You have got to be kidding. You realize this is gonna result in suspension," she said and the boy looked at Scott, Allison, Isaac and Andi who were smiling at him.

His eyes directly fell on Andi and she tapped her ear as a way to tell him to use his enhanced hearing to hear what she had to say. "You wanna play this game with me of all people? Keep messing with my friends and I'll do more than mess with your bike," she said quietly enough for everyone else to miss but her words did not go unheard by the twin standing in the hallway with his bike as he glared at her.

They could play this game forever since she had tons of moves ready. Instead of playing their game, she was gonna make them play hers. She said what she said and she meant every single word.
