I could seriously gush about classical music all day. It is so freaking amazing I don't even think I deserve to listen to it!

While I do enjoy music genres like rock, country and pop (sometimes), instrumental music and classical music are the only genres that I really connect with.

While lyrics obviously tell a clear subject and story, I think that classical music has more of a story than any genre, and what's even cooler about that is that it's completely variable and up to interpretation!

Classical music is never really consistent, and while it typically has repeating melodies, there is loudness and softness (or rather, forte and piano) and speed and slowness (or rather, adagio and presto). And with all of the different instruments that are used, classical music is just so versatile and you can make it to be whatever you want it to be.

It also can touch so many different emotions too, depending on what you're feeling. Sure, any type of music can do this, but again, with classical, it's all up to you on how you take it!

Okay, that was a lot of more technical stuff, but my third reason is simply because classical music is pretttyyyyyyy!!! That's all there is to it! It's just pretty! So many different instruments coming to play just sounds so beautiful! My personal favs are string instruments, like cellos and violins (you'll definitely be able to tell when I post my recommendations).
