Okay. So as a self-proclaimed hypocrite, I'm going to rant about rant books because I'm those kinda hoes who hate on everything.

Let's get two things clear:
(1) I know I'm a hypocrite. Don't tell me that lol
(2) I don't mean to offend anyone.
(3) In my defense, I started writing this when they weren't so many out there
(4) I speak the truth.

I know I'd mentioned this briefly in my "Assortment of Rants", but I think it's gotten to a point where it definitely deserves its own rant.

I'm not one to tell people what they should and shouldn't write. But I'm sure you can totally relate with me on this one, yea.

There are too many rant books. Too fucking many. I know I'm not one to judge, but it's almost exhausting.

Thing is, they're a cheap way to get popular. You can't lie about that. The moment your book title has "rant" in it, everyone loves it already. At first, I loved reading rant books. But now? Not so much.

I feel like there are certain things that people think they can get away with when they're writing rant books. Like I said, at first, it was okay. It was funny. And the first few ranters knew how to spell, to punctuate, to English; and so it was alright for them to joke around in their books. But now if people who can't ducking form a proper sentence feel like it's okay because they're writing a rant book, there's a problem there.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but most rant books now have more or less the same content.

1. Text language
I feel lyk this is lyk th strting pnt 4 ranters coz they complain bout ppl whu ryt in txt language but it's not lyk they don't do it either xD

2. Cliché stories
Reread chapters 1-81 of this book for further reference.

3. Periods
Need I say more?

For one, I actually think periods are a good thing I mean there's no happier moment than when they show up so you know you're not preggies

4. Fake fans

Comment if you've seen rants like this:

"I hate people who think they're directioners and they don't even know their birth date, eye colour, blood group and passport number. Like wtf you're not a real fan, fuck off."

5. 1D fan fics

Sometimes it's justified but lol it's the most ranted about shit of this century

Rant books are so much fun to write, so I completely understand why it's a trend now. But I feel like they're getting repetitive, annoying, unoriginal...

They've become the easy way out. No one seems to want to struggle for their books. So what I've been seeing in some rant books:
- like I said, shitty spelling and grammar (but that's "okay")
- short, unsatisfying chapters but it's apparently "okay" because it's a rant book
- I'm so sure some bitches be getting their rants out of other people's rant book and passing it off as their own😂

Course I've done that but I usually give credit where it's due
