So basically on 'discover' on wattpad, there's different books recommended that go under different categories. For example:

Popular in romance

*insert popular books in romance here*

Notable authors

*insert notable authors' book here*

Popular in Werewolf

*lol insert popular were....you catch my drift here*

Undiscovered gems

*insert undiscovered books he -

UNDISCOVERED MY FUCKING ASS!

These books have more fucking reads and votes than the 'popular' categories!

Okay, I'll calm down.

Maybe it's me. I'm the problem here. Maybe I just don't know what undiscovered means.

So I search it up on google, and the first thing that comes up:

1. Something that's not discovered.

No shit, Sherlock.

Maybe we need to know what discovered means.

1. [to] find (something or someone) unexpectedly or in the course of a search

2. become aware of a fact or situation

3. be the first to find or observe (a place, substance OR A FUCKING BOOK! Jokes, it says scientific phenomenon)

4.bla bla bla really not releveant.

5. be the first to recognize the potential of an actor, singer or musician.*

* they forgot to add, A FUCKING BOOK.

So you mean to tell me that all these books on the Undiscovered Gems section have actually been discovered?!

So then...where's the category for ACTUAL undiscovered books?

The struggles that we go through man, it's just not fucking fair.

Wattpad please understand what undiscovered fucking means:

NOT BEING FOUND LIKE THEY FUCKING ALREADY HAVEN'T BEEN DISCOVERED LIKE THEIR POTENTIAL HASN'T BEEN RECOGNIZED WHICH SHOULD TRANSLATE TO THE FACT THAT UNDISCOVERED GEMS SHOULDN'T HAVE MORE FUCKING READS THAN NOTABLE AUTHORS OMFG

(I apologise for not using punctuation. But, I feel like it's the only way to convey the anger and fury that is surging through me in this moment).

(Furthermore, that's an awesome definition. Much better than google's if you ask me.)

Let's get real; what's up with that? I appreciate the fact that wattpad has an 'undiscovered gems' section, because that is a self-esteem booster for authors who feel over crowded and stampeded (is that a word?) on by the thousands of authors who are out there desperately trying to get discovered.

It would only actually be good if it worked the way it was supposed to...

Like why?!

These undiscovered books there have their votes and reads and comments in fucking red. They've even got a letter on their numbers because - it's that darn much!

IF THOSE ARE UNDISCOVERED GEMS THEN WHAT THE HELL AM I?
