So the topic that I'm going to rant on today is one that I should have done AGES ago - authors who haven't the concept of TIME and TENSES.

So like I'll be reading a story in the past tense then it suddenly turns into present

Then past

Then fucking future.

Jokes. No one ever uses future tense.

Anyway, it annoys me no end! Like the author is feeling so sexy and professhhh (professional) when their character fucking woke up and washed the dishes and heads to school

See what I did there? I mixed the tenses, you noticed?

Okay, so I recollected myself.

Thing is, messing up the tenses will mess up the whole fucking story - even if it's intended to be the best one in the world, if you don't know the freaking difference there's a problem

Like maybe you missed that 3rd Grade lesson

I usually feel like the author is confused. Like they've got much on their brain? And it would somewhat reflect in their stories.

I don't know what to say. Just that you can't be feeling like you're an amazing author when you can't even sort out your tenses
